I suppose i'll offer a little feedback since nobody else has haha! You're well on your way! I would definitely get my hands on some 36g or 38g for making claptons, the difference in flavor is absolutely astounding. Until then, try and wrap the two clapton wires absolutely as close together as possible-that way when you remove one wire you're left with perfectly even spaces to fuse them together. But for a first go with 32g thats not bad at all! There is a method for making these that is difficult to explain, when someone finally makes a youtube video for it i will certainly post it. But for now twistedmesses video remains the best video for these. In case you haven't seen it:

There's a trick-you can make a small loop of wire and use that the same way you used your fingernail. Just put the core through the loop and once you start wrapping it'll space the clapton wire perfectly once you get it going. Its hard to explain but it's actually quite simple

You can also wrap the core on one gauge thicker wire decide it and then insert the thinner gauge and stretch it. It will be uniformly spaced every time. Cut that piece in two, line the up Parallel and then make your fused wrap.

I have found ball bearing swivels to be super helpful in coil making.

Framed Staple Claptons.
8 strands of .5mm ribbon stacked vertically with 28g N80 on each side. Wrapped in 40g N80.

Dual 5 wrap around 3mm bit clocks in at .095 ohms. Sitting in the Anarchist/Aria Built Phenotype-L RDA.
Really like this build. A little challenging to wrap nicely since the ribbon is wrapped sideways (standing on its side) and it naturally wants to lay flat. It vapes beautifully, very smooth considering the low resistance. Vapes more like a .13 as far as heat. Flavor is outstanding, and very complex. You can almost taste each individual flavor. Well worth the 30-40 min build time for sure.

So I went threw about 35 ft of 36 ga tonight trying fused Claptons. I gave up for tonight and just did a 24/36 ga clapton

7 wrap. Cube rda ohmed out to .61

So i have been working on making a TINY alien coil and finally got it mastered.
This is 30g Ni80 (3 strands) alien wrapped with 34g Ka1 and then I staggered it with 24g Ka1.
3mm diameter, 6/5 wraps, dual on Twisted Messes RDA. Came to .13 ohms

I haven't really been selling coils to local shops. When I am there however someone always hits me up for something. I am committed however to take good care of the VU family.

Specs are:
2x 28gA1 on the sides
5x 0.5x0.1mmA1 in the middle
40gN80 helix (4-6 pieces depending on the wire spacing)
3mm ID 5 wrap

In dual the resistance came to 0.12 on my test pair.

I thought I'd play around at work and do a flattened braided coil. Went well, when I began to flatten out the wires the expanded a lot further than I intended and the braid separated ALOT its a neat pattern(I think) but it will not. I repeat will not fit in the sum bitch'n rda. Lmao
Throw this on a list of shit I cannot do.
It was flat, when I began to coil it is when it started giving the jagged edges you see in the picture. I bet I could do it with 30ga.

So I just did a Clapton and called it a night for playing, and got back to work.

I did a titanium version (2 core 24 ) that was surprisingly great in TC mode.

24g/42g Twistedmesses Nichrome 80 Fused claptons. Dual 6 wraps on a 3mm bit is exactly .1 ohms. Delicious build, especially for the work involved. This Twistedmesses N80 is just gorgeous during the dry firing phase. Wonderful colors coming out in this wire. Definitely the best <15 min build. Minimal work/maximum flavor. Built by way of M.Terk swivel method

Thanks! I would've added a parallel wire but the resistance was already pretty low. Typically i'll do that for a little added "oomph" but this was already a hot, hard hitting build. I had to dry fire the coils one at a time until the resistance climbed over the .1 mark since i wanted to run it on the sigelei. The flavor on the 42 is damn good, about the same as the 40

Half-staggered/stapled/fused clapton. 28g frames, one of them is staggered w/40g. 6 pieces of .5 ribbon wire sandwiched vertically between them and then all wrapped up in 42g. 40/42g Twistedmesses Nichrome 80. Ribbon is A-1. I would have taken more/better photos but i REALLY wanted to vape on this build. Freaking DELICIOUS. Flavor is spectacular, and vapor is total cloud chasing status. The video is of this build at 3.7v which is about the same as a mech mod. Dual 6 wraps 3mm ID is .14 ohms. Cheers!

Don't know what to call it, but its twisted 2 28 kanthal paralleled with 26 nichrome 80 wrapped with .05 ribbon. Had to drill out the post holes on my velocity to fit it.

Already posted and scrapped this one but I found some left over wire, Buddy ask me how it did and I never took fire pics, so figured I'd share here too.

It was cool because you'd see the nichrome core and ribbon brighten up a split second before the kanthal sides. More of a neat looking coil before a vaping coil. Passes the time

Kanthal? I'm getting a little better with 36g myself - but not good enough to post yet.
Also just got some 40g kanthal and Ni80 in today. They look like a friggin' human hair.
