Pulled these coils out to be replaced with a NiCr80 build. Also, I hand wrapped these wires as I don't own a drill or a swivel/rotating-thing-thing. Only tools I used to make the wire were a vice grip wrench and 2 pens. Took me roughly 10mins to wrap 10inches of the parallel strands (prep work took some time too and I was distracted chatting with my brothas on Skype).

Fused Clapton wire: 24g kanthal + 26g kanthal wrapped with 28g kanthal with id: 2.4mm. Dual coil setup resistance came out to 0.15

Yup! I followed Squid Dude's instruction on YouTube and used 26/36 Ni80. I'll be using your suggestions next to get it right. Thanks!

Haven't posted in a bit and everyone is sharing some nice stuff the last couple days so I thought I'd join in. Here's some wire I've done lately followed by an interlock alien stovetop in various stages of colour.

Various sticks of wire

Two 32/40 fused claptons twisted, then helixed in 36

Aliens. Stapled up top triple-core on bottom. 26g cores, 36g alien. 0.5mm ribbon in the staple core.

I found for folks that i have taught how to do this is to start with three 24g K and 32gK outer wrap.

Believe it or not, this ugly alien vapes pretty "not bad". I wasn't expecting that at all!

Just now seen this but I only kept it for a short time. It took to much power to ramp up and vape how I like so I had to pull them and go back to a tried and true 24ga duals at .30 lol

I usually get about 2 inches of good wire out of six, I just keep a groove. It's super frustrating because I get soo close and it messes up. I'll be trying 26g core next time to see if the bigger wire is a little easier.

First attempt with 42g Aliens. 30g cores paralleled w/ 28g all Nichrome build. I'll edit this after i vape on em, i haven't had a chance to wick 'em up yet. All i can say is that 42g poses some unique and unexpected challenges

I wanted to make 2 smaller coils out of it, but the 4 leads wouldn't have fit into the center post. All of my 4 hole atties have coils in them that I don't want to change yet.

So I fired up my drill last night to make some 36/24 KA1 fused Claptons and made about 2 inches of beautiful wire then the drill all but died on me. So I sadly aborted the claptoning and twisted the 24 strands together loosely and made dual 7 wrap lightly twisted coils instead. Reading .22 and actually these vape like a champ!! I really love the flavor and vapor production. Not a total loss after all. Bob Ross echoes in my head, "a happy little accident".

Very loosely twisted 24a1 5 wrap .16 ohm tasty coulds at 3.6 volts. Haven't cranked it up yet

Here's the story to this coil
I was practicing a fused Clapton, 26 g NICHROME 80 and 32g kanthal
I end up doing a fused twisted Clapton, as u can all see it's not perfect, but OMG
This coil came out .23 ohms, vaping at 70 watts 3.8 volts on my OG SIG 150 it's so good, I can't imaging once I perfect my fuse Clapton

Aliens are 2x 26gN80, 4x 0.5mm A1 ribbon, 36gN80 alien. 5 wraps on 3mm, about 0.12 ohms

Stapled helix are twisted 28A1g, 4x0.5mm A1 ribbon, 36gN80 helixes. 5 wraps on 3mm again about 0.12 ohms.

I don't really have pricing set up for custom orders, but if you're interested shoot me a DM and we can chat further. These are for my local shop, and therefore wholesale pricing that I can't really chat about.
