Momma Saint's Leukemia came back. They admitted her right away. Her platelets were down to about 5. That explains why we couldn't stop the bleeding. SatiVae kept watching the door for the first couple hours I was home. I have a feeling she partially knows what's going on. She knew the first time Mom was sick
Prayers for healing. I know how hard this can be. We have had our own cancer crisis with my nephew. (((((Saint))))) take care of yourself. Eat, rest and move. Oh, and let that beautiful pup nurture and love you.

Came out of my nutpunch savings. But they don't come up often

Good atty - single z coils in mine.
Only downside is if you over-squonk like me you're going to get some leakage.

(((((keith))))) prayers for you and your family.

Thanks Glow'!

To make things even better my dumb azz' sister got arrested again. She missed her son's high school graduation last year and it looks like she's going to miss her mother's funeral too. :gaah:

Lol at least he knows to look at the camera, looked like you had a hard time keeping his attention.

SatiVae about flipped when the whistling started

thanks Glow, I needed that today. Mom has to get some fluid taken out of her lungs. I'm pretty nervous but no panic attacks so far.

She's back to the Clearo for now but I don't know if even that's a great idea. She's so tired Idk how much she has been using it lately. I hate seeing her so weak, and I really hate not being there at least 1/2 the time, but I have a fuzzy little responsibility to be home for. SatiVae has been a great support, aside from guilting me when I have to leave :dog:

Mornin Saint!

I just peed. So, you should be good to go. Now, if you could just return the favor and go to work for me that would be great.
G'mornin Bud! Appreciate it! I'll see what I can do as far as work.

"*cough* hey boss, not gonna make it today...I got one of those coughing hemorrhoids on my earhole and a family of chipmunks is living inside my belly button. *cough*"

No. Still a bit around the button and the squonk holes. Just happy to have two properly functioning mods. Didn't want to take it apart to do the button and Bork it.

i'll take some pics for you, easy to do

the buttons do build up with thumb oils and begin to stick, so best to take it out and wipe down during cleaning anyway [hence showing you]

you pretty much just loosen the nut a half turn, then the bar will spin freely and the button can come out

I appreciate the offer keith, but I'm good. Had a spell there where nothing was working right. After dog sent the tmod, I didn't mind taking my pinch to pieces to get it right.

I had figured that was the case. When I go to figuring, that's usually about the time I break shit.

Well Momma Saint is pretty exhausted from Low hemoglobin, but they gave her some blood and platelets which seemed to help. The nurses here are amazing, I'm glad she has people around her she enjoys talking to for a good part of the day. She enjoys talking lol alot. Not a bad thing t

she's been getting alot of attention today, not sure if it's a good thing or not. she has 3 nurses, at least one of which being a student. Looks like they're taking excellent care of her though so that's good.

Good Lord!
Families can be so supportive and wonderful but they can also get on our very last nerve. I have problems with our family as well. I will never see 2 of my granddaughters until they reach at least 18 and decide their mom is full of shite.
Sis might be let out for the funeral though. I have heard of it happening. At least on TV?

?Clearo? Getting the fluid out shouldn't be a huge issue. The rest is certainly of concern. I am so sorry to hear this.
Put a service dog vest on SatiVae and take her to see mom. We were able to take our pups in to visit mom but that was in the long term care facility. Just had to show proof that their shots were up to date. No vests needed. You'd be surprised the things that are considered service. A pup can be a service dog if they provide a calming influence and avert depression/panic attacks. It is a pretty simple procedure to get a pup certified as "service pet".

Vae actually decided to be a service dog last time Mom was sick. She would stay right at moms side, and anytime my mom needed to get up SatiVae would stand up and brace herself so that my mom could use her as a help to stand up. I actually needed her help a couple times and I was surprised how strong she was. Of course we were careful not to put too much pressure on her so we wouldn't hurt our Bay-Vae

Mom isn't doing great. They moved her to the ICU and she had to get an additional 100% oxygen on top of the 100% she had been on when they transferred her. They may have to put her on a ventilator, but her platelets are so low, that there is a chance she could bleed out if there's any issue when they do it. They have been giving her platelets, but just the regular kind. Because if she had gotten platelets for so long before, her body Will not except the regular platelets, so they have to get a special type. They said that they won't get it in for another hour, and what they do get isn't a whole lot. But it's better than nothing.
I don't know what to do, I feel like I want to lose it.

Hang in there as mer said. It's gonna be rough for a while just don't forget to take care of yourself in this process. Mama has people taking as good of care as they can for her, but you gotta make sure you don't burn out.

Sending love and hugs

Thanks all. I'm definitely doing my best, it all came on so quick. 1 1/2 weeks ago we were sitting here having coffee trying to decide what car we should get. Life happens fast.

And everyone knows the ladies can't resist a nice big CFL.

Yay, get to put a face with a name. Or at least a screen name.

Morning Saint
You know it! I figured I could finally reveal my Identity.. I may have waited if I knew what doggy did on his late night walks. I'll just try to keep on his good side so they don't find me at a beach one of these mornings.

Hope Mom is doing better Saint. Hang in there and make sure to take care of yourself.

The rest of you are a bunch of knuckles.
Well she isn't any worse, so that's good. theres another week or two before her body starts making platelets again, so hopefully we can avoid any issues for that long.

My sister and I had to make the decision on what to do if she gets worse, I just hope it doesn't come to that. Gonna go see Ma today and get an update.

My back has been hurting pretty bad the last few days. Dreading the drive and those chairs, but at least it takes my mind off other things

Good thoughts for you and your family, but like I said, you need to make sure you take care of yourself as well.
If you don't you'll end up old and decrepit like 1Pak and PoiBoi.
