it does, but the flash is making it lighter than it is. I could make a 26650 mod with this no problem, in fact, ideal. and have some left over. even a dual 18650, if I got creative.
Make a Solarstorm 26650 or a Woody Rebel Mod....

Lots of VAs 26650s on eBay lately. Especially the “girly” pretty ones lol!!
I wouldn’t mind getting one with that size battery since I use them on my Thor’s and like the extra battery time.

It states they’re a limited edition- is that because they’re not made anymore since VA went with the Primo Ti 21700 last year?

I’m not talking about the Spade or squonkers just the Primo types. Does anyone know anything about this seller or these mods - like are they stabwood or resin/acrylic hybrid? Are they eve real lol! Or is there a factory in the basement-there’s so many available!! That was a joke!! Seriously just kidding:).

Obviously I don’t much about them as I should since I’ve bought some new one ones. The price seems kinda steep considering a new TI Primo is about $650 or so.

Anyways any information or suggestions is always appreciated from you all. Thanks for help!!

Damn the Solar Storm is small. many if you don't mind could you please take a picture of the SS next to the Java? For size reference?
I think the Java is bigger than a Primo 26650?

I would like a Primo 26650 but not paying some crazy price. I have to go look. Now the 21700 is not so much money anymore. they used to be much more. then I paid more on top of that.

If I could get a Paranormal to last me I would make sides too. although the stock Resin and Carbon is not too bad at all. It is one of the nicer way mass produced Chinese mods. I think Asmodus is nicer though. the Paranormal is pretty small for a dual 18650. I have about 15 of them because they keep breaking. I am not so interested in sides though. I think for what it is(really a piece of junk IMO) the Resin and CF is very nice IMO. It is not real CF either but vinyl! You can tell if you get juice on it. It then gets all slippery. Real CF does not. At least there is no shortage of them and I get them dirt cheap Wholesale. So I do not mind to keep replacing it. I really like it but cannot get it to last. Obviously, jinx'd you have much better luck with it!

looks like a guy selling his collection, a massive collection. he is right by Manny.

Manny said they only made 100 26650. why, let me hypothesize.
1. they only wanted to make 100.
2, they saw 26650 was not so popular...
3. ...figuring the 21700 would sell better
4. problems we may or may not know.

looks like a mix of both.

VA has some 21700's for $400 + fast shipping, $50 I think.

there ya go.

the 26650 Primos on ebay are reasonable. go get one of those.

Todd. the Paranormal is a well built mod. I think you getting juice on them is killing them. not trying to be a dick, don't take it that way, just say'n. I try real hard to keep juice off of it.
my Para, is the on that the sides come off. it comes with 2 sets, the CF and wood. the CF is real. now, the rounded part on the back, that is rubbery faux CF

It has nice colors........ Let's see some results.....

how's this

this is buffed and no poly. I messed it up. my mill bit came loose, because some knucklehead that knows better didn't check it.
and took that chunk out. but that's actually good, as I have a better looking piece that I will glue on.
it is still to thick, the falling mill bit bummed me out, so I stopped.
this stuff is tricky to work with, if you don't know what your doing. it's brittle.

and I am not exactly thrilled with this block.
1. when poly'd, it gets very dark. I wanted and expected dark blue. it gets very dark blue, blackish.
2. when I cut into it, there is very little patterns on the inside.

He's camera is good, he needs to play with light...... That's what I do last night before going to bed I hit the Solarstorm with coat #10.......

I left it in the garage since the temperature in there was a dry hot 100 degrees....... Today I woke up grabbed her and wiped her down....

I stroked her passionately with 10,000 micromesh until I broke a sweat..... Now here is what she looks like......

I'm just in my office using a little bit of light from the window to block the reflections......

The designs in this are amazing. This was sanded down to make the curves in it? Cool looking.
Yeah they take a drawing of your hand (sketch) and they cut the wood to match where your fingers and pinky sit when you are vaping.....

They make the mod with the chip, the block and the battery tube to which ever size you want.....

Then they spray it down with Poly a coat every 24 hours for (15) days and vape it for a day or two...... That way it's 100% complete and tested before they ship it.......

They are made in Indonesia by a company called RNV Mozaic ...... They are on Facebook......

They are almost impossible to obtain....... Join the Facebook Mozaic Mod group, then get (5) vouches from people in the group to get in ....

Then wait for the blocks for the (12) mods to be made to appear on the group....... They make (12) mods every (3) months.........

The Java that was made for me was discontinued in 2016, but offered him a small bonus payment to make one because I like 26650 mods........

They do cost some cash and effort. Most are sold in Thailand, Singapore and Japan, and some for China...... Hard to see them in America

Sorry I just saw this. I don’t have access to a PC a lot but will definitely try to upload it this weekend. I used the same Theme on my Mirage as well.

thanx, no hurry = hurry up ! lol, j/k

btw. I guess you missed my question. your Primo, when you fire it, does the battery cap get hot ?

Many, the SS is half the size of the Java? The Java is #1 in my book but I could not deal with that.
Jinx'd your panels look good. I just would not bother personally. I have a fully outfitted wood shop with $$$ CNC machines router, lathe ETC.. I can't use it anymore. You are correct, it is juice that is killing them all. You are also correct the back is faux CF. The panels are real CF. Although the Resin one the panels are permanently attached. I think the Resin one looks good enough. I personally would not bother "upgrading" it but it would look nicer. Yours matches the CF back great.
My Primo 21700 has seen better day's but I will use it as is. To think I paid over $900 for it and now you can get them for like $400. Pisses me off. It was exactly the "special feature" that failed. The half and half Burlwood and Resin. Now the wood is standing proud of the Resin! Fuckit. I noticed in my PM it deleted racist words even though I was not using them in a racist manner but the Bot does not know that. I feel just like crap tonight.

Manny, I am sorry the Duke is not selling. I feel bad now.

Fidola13 (Sara) did you get that black screen issue taken care of on your SL SX485J ?

Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk

Yep. I just redownloaded the latest firmware even though it was supposedly on the latest firmware update anyways. No problems since though.

Have you been having issues as well? Looks like a known issue that that latest firmware is supposed to fix. That and something else. I can’t remember what the other issue was though. I still have to download on my PC somewhere where it says what issues it addresses.

I really enjoy that mod a lot. Perfect size especially for a single coil RDA. It’s very comfortable to hold and using it is easy once you get use to using Yihi software.

I also seem to be one of the rare people who liked the Yihi joystick. Wish they had had stuck with it on the VA Knight. Instead it’s like a mini joystick that doesn’t protrude out far enough imo anyways.

Gorgon I try not to bother getting upset about the prices. I see a lot of the Asmodus and other mods I paid full price for on sale for almost 1/2 of what I paid for it.

I figure it’s a hobby and just like a lot of collectibles it’s not an investment although it would be nice to be able to get my money back.

Who knows - with the way things are in this country- these mods may end up being worth something after all since it’ll be hard to get a decent mod.

So I’ll just enjoy them and take good care of them as I usually do.

Some items do appreciate a lot. Sometimes we do not even expect it. When my wife was a little girl she had these porcelain Japanese dolls. They cost nothing, even back then given inflation. She sold them in the 80's for thousands. Some Mods also appreciate but usually not the mass produced Chinese ones. Although if anything did I imagine it would be a YIHI.

Sara, you have a Knight? I thought you were low on money LOL? I have 2 of them. Never use them. I do not really like them. There is a SX580J already anyways. In fact it has been out for a while now. I am not sure if they have an even newer one yet? The Knight is an okay Mod but way overpriced IMO. Stabwood Mods UK has a good price on them. Again, if he has what anyone wants I appreciate if you order from Phil. He is truly a good guy. He lost thousands throwing away all his JM Mods because the quality was so poor. It was me through Evolv that pointed it out to him. He is beyond honest. He said he will not put his name behind junk. Plus he promptly replaced two DOA Mods in a row! Someone else just as well may have blamed it on me. He just said no problem at all! There are not a lot of people in this business like him. Other than people I have a long standing relationship with so they know I am not full of shit. Things are rarely DOA though, just my luck. Luckily he did not mind at all. Phil is one heck of a good guy. So I want to repay him sending him as much business as I can. He even trusted me so much He shipped the new Mods before I shipped the old ones back! Very rare indeed. He deserves as much business as I can get him. Plus it is in everyone's best interest to do business with someone so honest and trustworthy anyways. Not to mention his prices are mostly beyond fair. He does not have much, but if he has what you want please do not hesitate to order from him. I know it sounds like I am kissing his Butt. Indeed I am! Phil deserves me to Kiss his Butt after all He has done for me!

Not at all. Have you tried a different battery? I’m using mostly 30Ts.

ok, thanx, I guess they addressed the issue.
and to add to why they only made 100 of the 26650. 5. the battery cap gets hot.

it's not the battery, it's the contacts = where the battery touchs the cap, and/or where the cap touchs the mod.
if you didn't notice my kinda fix = if I turn the cap 'back" from fully closed a little, it doesn't get nearly as hot, if at all.
sub-par machining.

here is the "money" panel. the backside if it in the mill. and the block it came from.
look at those inclusions !(or whatever the hell they are called). because of these, I am not going to poly these.
I am going to get some Manny mesh(micro-mesh).

I didn't F this one up. but a small chip came off while machining, that I glued back out. while this stuff is fairly hard, it is britttle

My Java has that too.....and the screen goes black and remains black but still functions. Sometimes after replacing the battery she goes back to normal again.......

I love Phil and talk him up ALL the time over at ECF!
I did buy a Knight and I love it!!! I’ll take some pics and post later.

I ended up being VERY fortunate to find out not only will my dental care be ENTIRELY covered but I because of a IRS mix up I ended up getting waaay more back as initially thought. Thank god for good CPAs!!

This goes back to 3 years and I finally got what was owed to me that the IRS tried to screw me out of. So case closed. Check deposited. And most of the “extra” money spent on vape mods and some kitchen upgrades!!

As I said previously, I’m sure I could’ve had a couple of beautiful custom mods made like Mannys gorgeous ones but for my own “peace of mind” I’d rather spend more money (probably quite a bit more) on a known manufacturer from a business with an A Plus reputation in case something goes wrong.

Usually that’s how my luck goes so I didn’t want to push it lol!!

I’m really excited about the Knight and I a bought a G Class too. Even though it’s a few years older model- I’ve wanted one for a long time so when I found a decent deal on the only one I wanted I had to grab it. It’s the black one with gold buttons. I’d been looking for awhile but always just found the Kevlar or plainer leather ones.

I’m using it right now with a gold Loop 1.5 on it right now and I couldn’t be happier playing with it. I was just setting up custom curves using the Bluetooth feature.

I thought that was possibly a silly feature but since I rarely have access to a PC it actually works out perfectly!!!

I think my latest spending spree maybe done except for picking up a couple of extra Zeus single coil RTAs. I don’t use many RTAs. Mostly RDAs so when I found one I love them I want to get a couple extra. I have a few of the Zeus Xs but the original single coil one is my favorite for flavor. I have about 10 aftermarket bubbleglass tanks I bought when I originally bought the Zeus. It’s getting really difficult to find the authentic single coil ones now so I’ve been grabbing them when I can find them.

As for RDAs I have about 30 or more with just a few doubles because I love RDAs waaay more than RTAs and it’s easier to find great flavored RDAs imo.

Other than that I’m trying to stay cool during this miserable heat wave. @MannyScoot must be suffering terribly. Hope the “wind” driving his bike helps.

I rode for quite awhile and thought riding in the heat with the engine heat just torture lol!!

Gorgon- hope you’re feeling ok and doing well.

I can’t seem to upload pics AGAIN. keeps saying file is too large. This happens all the time regardless of application. I’ll try using Imgur later.

https://imgur.com/gallery/8yQvHv4

I’m sure why most of my pics are too large files. Really a pita.
