Everyone that got the Aromamizer clone. Check you wick holes! I just got mine in the mail today and toe it down to check it out and found one wick hole has metal shavings from not having the drill pass fully through the hole and the one next to our similar but not as bad. Glad I didn't build this and fill it with juice before finding this!

I was able to pop the shavings out with a paperclip. Everything looks clear now. Thinking I may drill those out a big because I use mainly high vg juice. These tiny holes don't look like they will pass much vg.

Also, wasn't this thing spared to come with color bands that only have two holes? I have 5 bands, all different colors and all with 4 holes... no throttle of the airflow for me! Haha full out baby!

Cant you just turn the band to partially block off each hole?

I cannot say enough about Lightning Vapes, I dropped an order in yesterday for some more wire and just one 30ml bottle. I already have shipping codes, not like the ones that printed a label so it looks like it's being shipped, but actually shipped label. They must have a shipping robot in the inventory room or a shipping monkey.....

I have to say the same about them and Vape Craft. Ordered from Lightning Vapes just before Christmas Eve and Vape Craft on Christmas Eve... already got the deliveries today! Boo-Ya! I would have had my Lightning Vapes delivery the day after Christmas but I had them delivered to work and the office was closed. Super fast shipping even during the Christmas Holiday week!

Where is the best placement for the coils in the aromamizer? Tight to the center of keep them towards the outside? I will be throwing that 30x40k core framed with 24k kanthal and wrapped in 40k.

Mine are drilled out to 2.4mm each :D
I cut 2 holes next to the other holes in the band also so now I can go from 4 hole to 2 holes in a 1/4 turn of the band.

Heres the new build for the Aromamizer. I liked the Vertical build as it keeps up with wicking with the drilled holes and can be ran hotter without dryhits, I made them slightly off center and at a angle so when the air comes in it hits the coil and then travels more to the next coil and vice versa (if it works out right). At 65w breaking it in is actually good this time around. It taste better and is warmer, even on my Stingray X (510 Top) its a great vape...

Nope, they came in at 2.2mm, so I didnt drill them out but I found the juice holes were waaay to small, those fuckers got the bit this time :p I think I may drill out 2mm holes consecutively all the way across to help the 2 holes there, if it still is a issue with it wicking the juice.

I didnt make a build montage for this build because I thought I wouldnt like it but I have found it to be one of my favorite builds. I loved the 22K/46N60 and it was my long time most used build. This build is a 22K/50N60 and its performing better then I expected it to, Im using it with a new juice that tastes exactly like a White Lifesaver Candy (Amazingly Identical)! Next time I will do a Fresh Build and Color Build Pics and more...

I want to get a mat for my workbench. The stupid fedex guy didn't deliver my lavabox today. He drove by the docks at work and because no one answered right away, he left and said the business was closed... so I had to call fedex to have them tell the driver to take it to the front door where all other small deliveries are taken.

That coil matter 521 is nice. Solid build feel and good quality on the build too. I bought an extra Sammy 25r and threw in it. I wish that thing was vw! Haha stroll around and toot on that thing. Mess with people! Haha

Fedex is full of retards, they tried delivering a package of mine today to someplace 2 towns away when the address on the package was mine (Correct) the tracking showed there was a incorrect address on it and then hours later they came here and delivered it...I want one just to work on and then build a stand around it, something that will fit almost all my mods and juice with the Tab Master slightly offset closest to where I sit...need to buy some fiberglass and bondo...

Ok, I tossed in the 30 strand of 40k framed with 24 and the wrapped in 40k. After messing with it, it ohms out at .22. Breaking it in at 50 watts. Scottish Roll wicked (only way I wick)...

Mother of all things holy in this world... the flavor is rockin insane! Running 70 vg juice and no dry hits yet. I am so glad I got this Aromamizer. The clone deck sucks in that the grub screws are butter. I will get some better ones to use but they are at least having in and holding the coils just fine. So far, best tasting tank i have setup. Better than my crown even. I all 4 air holes open right now and it draws smooth as I could hope.

It funny you say the clone Grub Screws suck...I find them 10000 times better then both my Authentic and Clone Crius V3's....Ive stripped one so far and have made 6 builds on 2 Aromamizers. I stripped all four on both Crius's the first build then all the extras on the next...
I have a RC company that makes harden steel/tungsten hard-to-find screws/worm screws/bolts and more, Im going to see if they have any 1mm/2mm/3mm grub screws and grab a 50 pack of each. Ill post their details if they got them.

ray I would be interested to find out what size the grubs are on the Crius since I mic'd it and it came out odd. I think they are undersized but not 100% sure. In the mean time this is much better than what they send with the Crius.

Its smaller then a M2 by a long shot and my 2mm allen key doesnt fit but the one that came with the RTA's is half as thick as the 2mm key
I will take a pic of all my grubs and keys tomorrow with some size references for you
Its the same size as the Screws in the TFV4 Rba's to secure the wire, also the Goblin Mini fill screw is the same size

These may fit, but it isnt cheap...http://www.kidneypuncher.com/mutation-x-v2-repair-kit/
and heres a link wrth saving after we find what size:

M1.6 major is 1.581max/1.496min. On page 71 where I mic'd mine it came in at 2.34mm or 0.092" on the major (outer thread diameter). The allen key for the Crius are 1.27mm or 0.050".

Steam Crave said its a M2.5 Grub...it just seems so much smaller, the mm of the screw is 1.27mm
Heres a good link for them

I can believe its the M2.5, if they undercut it like I believe they did it would fit.

They're supposed to act like a single sided dual coil, but I'm not exactly sure I see a whole lot of difference besides more coverage

I've never tried with clapton coils, only simple builds and haven't ever liked them more than their normal counterparts.. But they may be different with claptons.

I use 36 or 40 gauge to hold it together.
Start at one end and get them nice and flat together. And just wrap them together around 8 times.
Then do it again close to the first set of wraps. Now you can slide that down the ribbon while holding pressure and they should all line up.

I also use the swivels to my advantage, so with a 6 core I'll cut the ribbon twice the length of my end desired wire, use 3 pieces and fold that on its self around the swivel and then wrap all that together too. One set of wraps near the swivel and one that you slide to the end that goes in the chuck of the drill.

This picture is 40 to bind.
Edit: At the bottom left you can see where it's splitting to go around the swivel and where the ribbon is bound.

I will say one more off thing about this Aromamizer clone so far. Every time I unscrew the atty from anything and then screw it back on... it changes the resistance. I was running .22ohm last night and this morning. I just took the atty off to refill it and when I put it on it came in at .32 ohm. I unscrewed it and then back on and it came in at .55. I then removed and screwed back on and it dropped down .35 ohm. Not sure why it is jumping all over the place like that.

I checked the deck and it screwed in tight to the base... nothing looks like it has shifted with the coils and everything is tight. Just not sure what is going on with the constant changing ohms.

Also, those with Aromamizers, how do you get around all the juice that just sits under the deck? How do you get that to wick up into the coil?
