Figure we should start a thread sharing our builds. I always like seeing new builds and getting inspiration for new ideas.

-post a photo of the build
-what wire is used
-what size are the wraps
-final ohm readings

My all day everyday setup. Dual 24g 5/6 wrap around a 3mm screwdriver metering at 0.27 ohm

OK be gentle this was my first parallel coil attempt. It's dual parallel 28g and ribbon I believe it came in around .4 or .5 this one was a few builds ago so can't quite rember. But I'll toss up some more as soon as I snap some more pics

Build I'm vaping on now. Really miscalculated. Was shooting for .5Ω and ended up with .2Ω, oops. Today's vape at work is a little hotter than normal. This is why you don't build a coil at 3am while distracted.

A current dripper build...

It is 9-wraps of 28 gauge Kanthal around a 3mm screwdriver for a vertical coil at 1.8 Ohms.

Yes, that is "high" ohms for most folks nowadays, but it's flexible.

1. It's low enough for a mech with a warm-up pulse.
2. It will work on any mod I own, including the SVD at 10 watts.
3. I don't have to use my good 30A batts for it, saving them for the low-ohm stuff.
4. I can always add another coil and make it a 0.9 DC beasty if I wish. ;)

28 gauge diamond coil. It's hitting at .8 and it is full of flavor.

Here is my first attempt at home-made Flat Bastard wire. (twisted 33 wrapped with 0.8 ribbon)

Built a dual 6-wraps on a 1.8mm screwdriver, 1 Ohm DC build for my Fogger v4. It worked nice and had great flavor, but ran a bit too warm for my taste. I kept the build for later usage in a RDA or such. :)

(click thumbs for full-size)

If you've used the TINY screws on the new Fogger v4, you know how much of a PITA that was to get on there. ;)

Try the dragon wrapping method? That may calm it down some so you can actually enjoy the vape.
Yeah, saw that wicking method shortly after the build. Much better, but gonna stick with micro coils for the most part.
