I got mine on sale from eciggity. Think I only paid like $35 but they are normally like 60. After having one I would happily pay full price for it. The RDA comes with a full set of extras you can completely rebuild it. I also bought a couple of different AFC control rings for it.

I need something like that, too. I just made a 3x24K/30N80 alien and it would just barely fit into my HellBoy. I wanted to stage it, but there was no way it would have fit.

What ID did you use? That is why I need to get a big dog rda. Something that can handle the big coils. I guess my Velocity does but that thing is set. Plain kame build but great flavor. Just never want to mess that up. So all I have is the freakshow and it is tight cramming 3mm coils into. That is what I have in it now. Only a single though.

I use a3/32 screw driver. I love my big attys. That's what happened with the first Clapton wire this morning I got a sleeper build in a vertex rda it was pretty close to perfect and the damn top cap didn't have a shot at fitting on I was just pumped I actually did it

Talk about coils being too big. I can't even push the chuff enuff top in all the way on my freakshow with that 3mm twisted fused clapton... if I do... nothing good happens!

I finally (kinda) figured out how to use my phone. Some pics come out great. Some don't - it's hit or miss.

I think I'm gonna grab up a heaven and hell. Slightly upgraded twisted messes from what they say. Should have my tfv4 tank soon so can wait to build and run that too.

If it helps any I checked out both decks at my b&m and they're pretty much the same, its all about which one you like the looks of better.

That is what I'm talking about. I have zero clue when it comes to anything other than kanthal and nichrome. I want to use stainless but haven't really seen best place to buy and which stainless is vape specific.

You are giving me more drive to try it out now.

Sent from my SM-G925V using Tapatalk
I just tried a couple of stainless builds today (316L) and they are damn awesome. I've tried Kanthal, N80, Ni200, Ti01 and now 316L. I like the stainless the best so far (VW mode, not TC since I can't get them damn Xcube app to upgrade me). I tried a 26ga dual coil build in a Dark Horse Mini (reg mod @ 65W) and a 28ga dual parallel in a derringer (SMPL mech mod). Both are winning.

It's a smoother vape, more of a sizzle than the other Kanthal and N80 builds that are crackly. Getting great flavor and silly clouds even with 70VG mixes. Tomorrow, time permitting, I will tear out my beloved 24/38 N80 claptons and replace them with 26ga SS dual parallels. Next up will be an order for skinny SS to try all SS claptons. Who knows if that will be the best vape to date or a total failure. I'm willing to find out! FYI, bought my 316L wire on ebay. It wasn't as cheap as Kanthal from LightningVapes but it wasn't very expensive either.

One thing is for certain. Wrapping SS coils is hands down easier than any other wire I've tried so far. I recommend it 100%.

Not bad for my first real attempt at making Clapton wire 24g kanthal wrapped with 30g nichrome

Looks awesome! I can't imagine doing that with nails. The last claptons I wrapped were with 38ga N80 and I almost lost my mind. Never again. Such a good vape though. Related, if anyone wants some 38ga N80 (hundreds of feet of it) PM me.

Not sure where that particular person is getting it from, but eBay is the best place I've found for it.

The nails actually helped keep enough tension on it and helped guide it when I tried to do it without my nails and it kept doubling back on itself

Etsy is actually cheaper and it has 430 SS I do use eBay also for 316 SS and Ti actually they're about the same because etsy you have to pay for shipping but EBAY doesn't have 430

No clue what it is called it was my first attempt at wrapping flat ribbon wire around 28g. It has a fast ramp up time and great flavor. Came out to 0.10 with duel coils they also are two wires both individual flat ribbon wrapped in each coil. I'm not all caught up on the names of these wraps. Excuse my ignorance

Dual parallels 26awg 8 wrap on a 2.5mm id. Over wicking for blind dripping... Running at .25 ohms @ 50watts and delicious

Its just looks. They are functionally identical in every way. The TM has a bunch of fun AFC ring options that the heavens/hells lacks. Plus he makes all the extras available separately on his site as well if you ever need spare parts

I will take @Dawn0810 s advice and check out Etsy and 430 stainless next time. I figured I would start with 316L since my dad always said that was "the best" stainless but he was a fabricator, not a vaper. It's one of the most corrosion resistant but I like the idea of less nickel.

@Dawn0810 , is the 430 as easy to wrap as the 316L?

Figured I would throw a quick snap of my double dial online coil on my Velocity mini clone. 24 guage kanthal. Great coil to vape on! Love the flavor off of this!

I love all the colors they have and I like how you can buy them separately so I can slap a different color on and it looks like a whole other rda I wish more companies did that. I own pretty much every rda that has different color afc rings

I thought the heaven and hell has the interchangeable rings too. That may have been wishful thinking...

Messy lil fused claptons for the Twisted Messes. 34/26 kanthal. 2.5mm id. Ohms out to .16. Not my favorite, but not too bad. I still prefer the flavor of 36/28 over the vapor of this.

Dual 7 wrap 28g KA1/36g N80 Aliens in the Dotmod Petri. Needed something with a higher than usual (for me) resistance to fire on the IPV D2. It's a pretty fun little handheld driving setup. Dual coils clocked in at .25 ohms. At 75W it's not a bad vape at all, especially on such a tiny mod
