Single coil Smok TFV4 Tankwhat is the best non rebuildable tank for us noobs
I just put the first build in mine. So far I'm thinking I like it. Nice, dense, warm vape. Fiddly little deck, tho. Really nice to fill, for a bottom-fill.I'm pretty happy with my Billow V2 Nano too.
That small deck, the smaller air channels and that "ridge" are what led me to try this RTA. All I know for sure is this: I'm getting much more flavour and a denser vape than I did from the Crius, using the same coils & wattage.IMO, the small deck is where warmth comes from. Mine has been 100% leak free though.
I think that's because of the little ridge they machine in around the air holes. I wish every RTA had that little ridge.
I'll agree with your statement.I'm not looking to start a riot here but...
Side air flow sucks for flavor. That's the reason are RTA's taste better (much denser vapor, less diluted with air) than RDAs.
Steam crave aeromarizor and youde bellus they are revolutionary in the tank world direct airflow not bottom air huge build deck and ginormous juice wellsLooking for a new tank I have the crown the tfv4 a Triton 2 I want a good rta thoughts on any good ones and why u like em ?

Direct airflow as in it comes from the sides "directly" on the coils rather the from under the coilsNot sure where the term "Direct" applies... it's just bigger & faster.
This is one of those things where I don't think we have a difference of opinion as much as a difference of definitions.
These 'definitions differences' between posters IMHO, are and always have been the single biggest source of confusion
in all vaping boards. (This is even more true in juice threads) I think we define Flavor differently.
I'm a performance oriented, sub-ohm MTL vaper. I get 1 mouthful of vapor to achieve the same satisfaction and you (a DL'er)
get 2 entire lungfuls! "My" (much smaller) vape must be farr denser... So my definition of flavor really means flavor density.
And by that standard side airflow tanks dilute the charge too much.
IOW, if we break all tanks down into Cloud or Flavor... all side airflow tanks are cloud tanks, not flavor tanks... in my little MTL braane.
Both the bellus and aeromarizer have super intense flavor and clouds but it depends on the build i run .2ohm twisted 26g kanthal and those 2 tank systems out perform all the other tanks ive ever used both cloud and flavorNot sure where the term "Direct" applies... it's just bigger & faster.

Sounds like u need to learn to build it lolRight, by YOUR definition of flavor.
But by MY definition of flavor (and experience) the aromamiser isn't fit to paint the goblin minis toenails.
It has good flavor, it's just not concentrated or dense enough for me.
I've got a brand new one with less than an hour's use on it I'll sell you for 20 bucks. It's not even close to my definition of flavor.
It is my experience that you can't have it both ways. There is no such thing as a 'maximum clouds, maximum flavor' tank. 100% no such thing.
Its pick one, A or B. As vapor goes up, flavor decreases.
All wide open air flow tanks compromise flavor compared to shorter more restricted air flow tanks.
That was my reaction. Unless one expects "This is the best tank," w/o explanation, there's going to be discussion.
Damn man calm down its all good shark and i where flipping eachother shit were adults it happens. Everyones opinion on each tanks is going to differ we all have different vaping styles and building experience hence the back and forthoh ffs
can we stop this shit
i just got a crius
likikng it alot
came to this thread hoping to find some alternatives to it with a bigger build deck and a single coil option
and now its
clouds vs flavor - give it a rest already!
I would have to agree. Direct airflow does rob some flavor in my opinion. I love my aromamizer, but the crown beats it hands down for flavor.I'm not looking to start a riot here but...

Lol with ur building skills yup lmao jkBut I'm still right. Naaahh.
LolHey, I got the rubber band off the spool, okay?
Well, that tank certainly is well built!I vote for the M1-A1 Abrahms tank.
I was using the TFV4 with my Ipv3-li at 80 watts and it was amazing at cloud production.TFV4 using the four coil, coil, is putting out the clouds. 32.5 watts is just right for me. Then I use the crown as the TFV4 is cooling down.

The Leopard 2A7 isn't too shabby either. Wonder what the Leo 3 will be like.I vote for the M1-A1 Abrahms tank.
The connection on the Avocado is slightly to short, so yeah a single turn of the pin out and it's good.
I like the Griffin better overall because of the lack of heat issues. I can use better coils in it. The flavor on the Avocado is better though with the same coils. I have Aliens from Purecoils.com (@CrazyChef 's thing) in my Griffin right now and it's just splendid. If I put them in my Avocado though I'd only get a few pulls before I'd have to back off so I don't burn my fingers on the tank. The Griffin handles them with flying colors though. I have some simple Fused Claptons in the Avocado (2X26gK/40gK) and it's right there on flavor but less vapor production.
The Gemini looks nice if you feel the Griffin lacks airflow which could be a thing for vapor production (cloud chasing) but it'll mute the flavor. So IMO the Griffin is top dog overall, Gemini a ripoff of the Griffin aiming towards cloud chasers, but the Griffin has a top airflow attachment coming out which should make it basically the same as the Gemini if that's your thing.
So if the question is what's the best tank out right now. Griffin is the standard. Gemini if you want more airflow, though the Griffin will be right there once the attachment is out (so no reason to buy the Gemini if you have the Griffin, just wait till that's out).
I run 3 tanks right now, the Griffin (amazing vapor production making up for it's "lack" of flavor, which is only relative to the other two I have). The Haze which is unrivaled in anything I've tried in purity of flavor. And the Avocado which is a nice mix between the two, unable to handle the coils the Griffin can for vapor production, but giving a more pure flavor close to the Haze.
Now flavor is off topic for the cloud chaser forum, but worth mentioning when talking about the comparison between the Griffin and Avocado, as it's the only real difference. Want cloud chasing the Griffin is better.
