Www.stealthvape.co.uk theres your problem solver Lähetetty minun ONEPLUS A6003 laitteesta Tapatalkilla
Yah ... 50m spool of .3 KA1 ribbon is 7.99 euro at stealth. I get 200m at crazywire for the same exact price. I'll take a couple of headaches here and there for 1/4 the price. In the end it's just a pain in the ass and, to me, it's worth the money saved. If I'm going to spend much more than I'm spending now I'm just going to get KP or Coil Society. And I know I shouldn't be bitching because I already know the reality and I'm choosing it.
Trust me it's worth it...they spool ribbon perfectly it comes straight AF. And im the ex crazywire user Lähetetty minun ONEPLUS A6003 laitteesta Tapatalkilla
+ they sell 1km 40+g wires for 19,90quit it's cheaper than crazywire Lähetetty minun ONEPLUS A6003 laitteesta Tapatalkilla
See dude just try thinks even if you are not sure surprise yourself. And holy shit your aliens look goooooooooood! Lähetetty minun ONEPLUS A6003 laitteesta Tapatalkilla
Thanks man. Hopefully larger core coils go as well. Although I'm just fine being able to make aliens now. Sent from my LM-Q610(FGN) using Tapatalk
Made a trade for some coils for a TM Squared about a week ago, its used and beaten but the cap is perfect and I just wanted to try it...hopefully I can find some new posts for it one day. I got back to basics with a 4 Core (28N80/40N90) Alien with 26g SS Staged heating...works pretty well.
It is a cool looking RDA. But I've always thought it would suffer on flavor with the huge chamber. I bet it's a cloud monster though.
Only if your using pansy ass beta coils, this calls for some big alpha male monsters that'll eat your cotton and juice before you can even inhale IDK, I still havent used it to vape yet but Im more than certain that something with that much surface area and heat will do fine....I have wondered that myself about the chamber area though...Ill let you know how it is with these and some normal 4/5 cores. Its the height of the cap that makes it an issue, the deck fills that entire part of the cavity with cotton and coils, the top however needs more heat to keep the vapor warm while it travels....a slam cap would be neat for this thing...
Hardly a problem as far as I can see. Looks like a cloudy situation. Sent from my ONEPLUS A5000 using Tapatalk
Made some coils for a friend. 3x28g, 36g aliens 2x30g, 6x.3r, 40g framed staples And some 4x30g, 36g aliens for me
Which direction do you wrap your aliens? Mine look backwards from yours. I counter the clapton and go forward for alien skin Sent from my LM-Q610(FGN) using Tapatalk
I Clapton so the wire goes under then switch the drill so the fuse gives over the top of the stick. But you can either switch the direction OR start from the opposite side. (Clapton starting at swivel and alien starting at chuck or vice versa)
Yah me too! I'm doing Christmas decor with the family today. And then tonight ... and tomorrow ... and maybe sunday ... BINGE TIME!!!
Thanks man. They are just time consuming. If you go slowly they are not to tough. I'm working on doing a double SSFC. I haven't quite figured it out yet lol. I've seen the Chef do it though so I know it's possible.
I love that mod, awesome vape mail You know a vaper is "builder first, vaper second" when they post vape mail in the Build section We are your people!
And yes it seems to be a great little mod. SUPER lightweight, but doesn't feel like cheap crap. Don't have a good coil built for it atm. But seems to get reasonable power to the atty.
Thanks man just trying to push the boundaries of my comfort level. Of course when you do that it’s not going to come out perfect the first time but I like posting most of my attempts so when/if I nail it I can look back on the process.
Haha, that looks like a party and a half, looks awesome man Mine's been through my "prone to breaking hardware" vape style for a year now, and even the paint is in great shape. And that battery door - it's not gonna give, ever Nice chunka aluminum and brass for sure
I did not build much tonight... I worked on photography for four ...hours... almost there....just need more light
Anyone ever vape staggertons? Watched a video and it seems just like a staggered fused Clapton. Just ribbon instead. But is it worth the build time vs basically completing a tough build? Sent from my LM-Q610(FGN) using Tapatalk
Personally, a staggerton is just an inverse SSFC. I'm not a fan of them. They are a hot vape with long ramp time. Though they are great tools for learning/practicing staggers. Since your staggering on ribbon you don't get the freedom of sliding staggers that move into place for you.
I love 'em. But they're a PITA to make (at least for me they are). That depends... Using 0.3 or 0.2 ribbon works well for me with very little ramp up time. Not too hot, either. If I was adept at making them, I'd probably use those and aliens almost exclusively.
I'll amend my statement - I've only ever made them with large stacks (6ply+) of .3 and bigger. So I can't say if I would enjoy them in a different way.
I kinda like them - with 36g wrap yeah they'll be basically framed staples wrapped in 36g (long heatup/cooldown), with 40g they're like... framed staples wrapped in 40 with extra spitting They're fun to vape because of that "I made this cool coil" mental thing; they do technically hold a tiny bit more juice around the edges of each coil wrap, that might be a real edge over normal framed staples...but a tiny edge They're super fun to make, I like making them more than ssfc Thanks man! I got a lot more work to do to get rid of the softness
I'll tell you what ... I am impressed with this DPRO atty as well. First off it is super thin so it get's hot quick. But that also means it cools down quick. So that's a wash The airflow is a little loud ... but the PERFECT restriction for me wide open as a flavor atty. Plus I can close it down even more if I want something tighter. It's a flat postless deck with no juice wells. But the lip come up pretty high so fluff your cotton around the deck and let it soak up the juice. Its more dripping than normal but not as bad as it seems at first. Added bonus - more cotton in the chamber means more chamber reduction for more flavor. The build deck is MISERABLE to build on. The drawback to the high lip is the coils sit down inside. So you can't get a jig in the coils during installation. So your coils have to be perfectly wrapped and installed cause there aint much fiddling with them once they are in. You can install your coils higher but the airflow is angled down so you'll loose direct flow. Edit - fix the drip problem by putting on a squonker. I do believe I've found a permanent topper for my Pulse80w Here's a crap set of 30/40 fail-liens from the spare jar installed terribly cause i wasn't prepared to not be able to futz with them after screwing down. 3 mm id, .25 ohm dual. I would be happier if they were a little lower cause it's a little to cool of a vape on unreg. But the flavor is right on.
Yeah, can't say how many coils I ended up cutting the legs too short to reach the holes, after seeing them be way too long the first try Might be great on a squonk, yeah... The grub screws on mine wore out eventually, and it started leaking through the holes :/ I'm hard on atomizers, though Thank you, kind sir.
Nasty little SS316L Alien I threw in the Drop Solo RDA! 36G over 3x26G. .12 ohms Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk
Took another try at stitched hedgehogs. Getting closer I think. 2x28g, 12x.3r, 36g fuse 32g decore 40g stitch. Maybe a larger decore next time so I can stretch it farther before the stitch stops it. Or just do 46g stitch. Still looks cool I think heheh Wrapped the rest of the stick in 46g It seemed a fitting sacrifice to the build gods, hopefully they are pleased and grant me hedgehogs
