Got some time to myself so I decided to throw Chefs Alien Framed Staples in the Griffin...
I took off a wrap to make it easier for the juice to wick in it, they fit with 6 wraps it just was tight with wicking.

BTW Chef I bought that Coiler Set you posted back awhile ago, the UD with the Straight Cut...That thing is damn heavy and well built, I probably wont bend or break this one

No where near as good as the other options out there...You need to build WAY High just for the air to hit the coils but you rick hitting the chamber even with normal coils...
Griffin, Diablo, Gemini are decent options, I am also beta testing a new Coilporn RTA like is the Griffin but has a Glass inner chamber and better looks Should receive it soon to test and review.

It's been a minute since I've had time to build anything. My wife had a grand mal seizure a week ago; before and since life has been pretty hectic, but she's pretty well better now. She's back to college today, it's my day off and regardless of my roster of chores and auto repair, I needed to remedy the gunk in my rda, so I used some cuttings from previous builds and put this together. Y'all can go back if you like to my previous posts to verify the accuracy of these wires composition but if my memory serves me...
Staggered center core alien: 26n80 framed in 24n80 staggered and alien in 36n80, 2 wraps...
Staggered Clapton variation: (4x32n80 claptoned in .5 ribbon kA1)x2 for the inner cores framed in 26n80 or 28kA1, I don't remember, staggered and claptoned w/ 36n80, 1 wrap...
2.5mm id...
.15ohms
Not the prettiest, again they're scraps but damnit if they don't perform.
Wicks like nobody's business, 0 ramp time...Not a fruity juice guy but this pina colada flavored tiki warrior juice from clouddropz on this coil tastes like I just took a bite off a fresh pinapple and washed it down with coconut milk. Cloud production is outstanding...2 3-second hits had a weather system going on in my front room. It's setups like this with such wide wire where the aeronaut shines.

In my opinion it vaped beautifully, i love the flavor i got out it for sure and nice cloud production out of a single build.
Its also a breeze to wick, soaks up the juice nicely
Also its reading at .12ohm, Here the spec 28g core, 32g as the clapton and paralleled with some 22g all Kanthal

I might have to try this sooner rather than later...thank you

Built some aliens yesterday really for the sake of practice. Came out great and enough for two coils, which makes me happy. But I already have aliens in the Griffin so I made a single coil for the velocity. Something different.

One little mess up in the alien, other than that. All good.

Perfect for the noisy cricket.

I just bought my second Griffin, honestly, it sets the bar for RTAs right now and that bar is HIGH.

I honestly like it better than dripping, my RDAs are gathering dust right now and don't miss the hassles of dripping. I've sacrificed no performance by switching to the Griffin.

I ordered one, my first tank since the crown, which was my first tank.

But I am/was hesitant to buy any tank because I love the RDAs, flavor and clouds are top notch with them....

But this effin Griffin!!!

Haven't touched my velocity since I got the griffin... Threw a new build in the velocity just because I could.... You should try one!

Ct scan, urine, blood and epilepsy tests all came back negative. Last and only time this happened in the past she was pregnant with her son and lost an unconscionable amount of memory. This time she's still a lil fuzzy but it wasn't nearly as bad in that respect. Woke me up at 4am shaking. Damn near lost my finger getting hard mucus and fluid out of her throat... She couldn't breathe. She's on kepra now. It's causing terrible dizziness but that's expected to pass with time. She's going to be seeing a neurologist soon to try and get a better grip on what the potential trigger(s) may be. She's a soldier. We'll get through this.

Yes it is two separate coils, similar to staging. The alien staggered is the 2 outer wraps, the staggered variation is the center single wrap. Delicious...

Glad to hear man! My mom was on kepra after her grand mal and it worked as far as i could tell(no more seizures). Scared the crap outta me but she was a cancer patient coming off brain surgery, hopefully you get a simple answer and its a great start that her ct scans came back clear. Best wishes to you and yours

I'm in the throes of educating myself on the symptoms, triggers, and terminology so I'm still a bit ignorant.
Preeclampsia...not to our knowledge in the past or present.
Tests came up negative for pregnancy...
And you have no idea Brody. When I said she's a soldier I meant it. I've had friends, family and strangers suffer seizures in the past and like most things I wasn't shaken. Regardless of her fortitude I've never been more scared in my life.

Griffin's #1 still but the Diablo so far is still worth buying, think of it as a perfect Goblin Mini, its slightly taller then the GM but its much easier to build on, more room, much more airflow, and top fill. The Clone is $13 and it looks like its the exact same but until I get one I can say it is or not yet...

The Diablo first I just bought the griffin so I'm waiting patiently but I'm definitely enjoying the Diablo. I have both the clone and the authentic and you really can't tell when it's on the mod. So for 13$ or 12$ at 3fvape you can't go wrong

Nothing Like Temp Control on a Kanthal/N80 Alien Framed Staple I am blown away from the Hohm Wrecker G2, Phil is dead wrong and if you watch his video he keeps repeatedly pulling off the Tank while its hot and reattaching it...That makes it lock a new resistance and then it wont be consistent or work correctly. Kanthal/N80 at 500°F/100w is amazing and anytime I forget to refill the tank all I got were wisps of vapor and then the vape dies off until I refill the tank or redrip...I no longer need to be attentive and can carelessly go on with my day

Ihave tried the alien build a few times and just can't get it. Any tips? Also what size ribbon are you using for the staple alien? I have some .8mm ribbon and have tri d the framed stapled and I can't keep it from twisting over even when I use pliers and straighten it do you have some pointers?

YouTube is your best friend when it comes to learning how to builds. Just do a search for what you're interested in building. The techniques are various - what works for some people doesn't work for other. For instance, I hate using tape to stabilize core wires while others swear by it.

I wire end crimps to capture and hold my wires as someone on here suggested, sorry to who I forgot to credit for that tip...

Yeah I've been through a ton of YouTube videos I like to use small peices of wire to hold the cores together for ribbon a lot less hassle than tape. Thanks

I'd love to pick one up, but knowing that the it's a 528 product the price will be outrageous and overpriced.
