I had the same problem with Mr Juicy - until I found some pretty rockin' uncured bacon without sugar or added nitrites
Flipping outstanding - and then I use the grease to make wilted spinach salad - win/win on that one

Hard to believe a doc would prescribe antibiotics when you have a virus! That's really medically irresponsible, it's that sort of thing that contributes to "super bugs" that are antibiotic-resistant. The doc should have given you Tamiflu, not antibiotics.

I can't eat it any other way, nor will I try. I take 3 hrs to cook it, so it's fully cooked, yet completely soft.
And just so y'all know.. bacon will NOT clog your arteries. It's pork, which has little if any cholesterol.

She didn't know what I have so she prescribed based on my cold like symptoms. I'm not even running a fever.
But, as I said before, my diet plays a huge role in how I feel. I haven't helped my own cause when I eat processed foods I know I shouldn't eat so I can't blame the doctor really.

I’m sorry about that Lucy. It’s tough when you know how much better you feel after you quit smoking but you can’t convince someone else that they would feel better also.

I still like my junk food but I couldn’t eat as much of it after I quit smoking years ago. Sugar overload after I got my taste buds back. I’ve been drinking just a protein shake for lunch about eight months now I guess. I don’t know how much weight I’ve lost because I don’t weigh myself but I’ve gone from a size 40 waist back down to a 36.

He had an ischemic stroke September of 2016 and at least three TIAs since then. Has lost 3/4 of his vision in his left eye after the big one, and has serious coordination issues also.
