The elephant carcass wouldn't fit in the crematorium. They decided to build a raft, use a bulldozer to push the body onto the raft and then give it a viking burial. So those with hands started building the raft

But the Elephants relatives showed up and didn’t approve of a Norse funeral. They wanted
