Nope, just curious
I'm in shock!!!:slowclap: You don't have it??? How is that possible?
It looks like the Origen 16mm from the outside, the guts are waaay different. It looks like fixed air flow so for me that would be a hit or miss, if the airflow is like the Cyclone, I'm good!

No idea on mods but for woodworking, I prefer using linseed oil & beeswax (since varnish and lacquer wouldn't fit for something like this)

Agreed. Hand rubbed linseed makes wood have a high gloss glass like coating. It draws out the natural beauty of the wood too.

I had planned on linseed for these little walnut numbers. I think it will be the perfect compliment!
I'm not very well-versed in the natural finishes like @Sonar505 but it will be fun to experiment, especially with the darker wood.

Be careful with linseed oil,as it can spontaneously combust.Read up on safety and disposal of rags that have linseed oil on them.Howard's Feed And Wax is another good option. You can get it at Home Depot or Lowes.
Yes. Dispose of oily rags properly. Very important. As a Firefighter I have worked several structure fires caused by the spontaneous combustion of linseed oil soaked rags.

By the way. I'm liking the coppervape o atty clone.

Don't drip and drive. SQUONK

i tried a standard Odis clone from Fast Tech. Wound up breaking the deck. At times either i do it, or it's involuntary and my body forgets it just keeps getting stronger, wind up crushing, snapping all kinds of things. Well, i snapped the posts on the Odis off just trying to get a "squonk pin" into it. i have used the Odis cap on the Narda deck though. Think i would indeed enjoy an O atty / Odis, simply not gotten back 'round to buying another yet.

Involuntary? yep, my nerves decide upon making my body parts go haywire at times and i have to go along for the ride. *chuckles* i've tried co-cocking myself a few times, tossed coffee cups across the room, dropped tools or flicked them off into space, my fingers twist up into pretzel knots. gets to be a pain in the ass at times for the not knowing when/if it'll happen, then needing to deal if/when it does. think it's just all from how i was wired from go and some roughness of living. "shit happens" & "it'll be what it'll be". *grin*

Latest shiny i bought was a Lost Art Goon clone and three Goon "squonk pins". That damn Hank seduced me to using Goons. Guess I'm kind of spoiled on them and Nardas now, and probably the O atty / Odis. Tried an Origen little but well *chuckles* it was too damn little. I started wrong on building for rdas i think, starting on the 22mm decks and not a 14/16mm deck. By the time i got into rdas though 22mm seemed to have become the 'standard'. i believe the Goons are 24mm as they seem keen to fit right on the Coppervape mods.

then, i also bought us a new laundry hauling poke what has two shoulder straps, yay! :) the last one is kind of falling apart.

Skullkandy's Venom mod is tiny. It's just about the size of a battery case (it's like 1mm bigger). I need to buy some wire as I'm not feeling comfortable throwing some crazy low n80 build on it or something chunky on it. Also need some squonk RDAs as all I've got with a pin is an old Velocity Mini clone. My 3F order needs to come soon (Shift, O16 and NoLegal).

It does, but them posts won't set the coils by themselves.

Just exploring my options for when my original TMod gets back from the spa - yeah, she's running behind

Only have had it for a few hours but so far it's pretty cool. It does kinda feel like a toy with how small & light it is. The colors I picked aren't helping in that regard. Have a 26/36 kanthal build on it, no noticeable battery drop.

As long as you do some basic research, mechs are a lot of fun

A 24mm RDA will overhang

Will probably end up bending the firing plate though as there is like zero throw on it

Makes it kinda chubby but feels good in hand.

what did you use for backing? looks like some sort of metal through the squonk hole.
magnet placement on the front door? did you do the 4 corners (where the screws are)? How well does it stick compared to stock panels? If better, where did you source the magnets?
Not all that great at wood work, but I may try something like this.

Got magnets at home Depot. Gorilla glued wood to extra panels I bought when I got mod. Countersunk holes in corners for magnets. Thinking of getting some aluminum and making the whole panel over. And yes they hold better.

Never use it, Juice...I don't like the screws on top. Perhaps he has changed the design, I have one of the originals.

Yes, that is an old school design - he uses magnets now

But they are bad ass little mechs nonetheless
