same here. i have no desire for anything larger than 24-25mm. same with mods. for some reason, i'm not down with 26650 or triple 18650 mods. single and dual 18650s are about as large as i want to go. 80watts is about the max i push and don't feel the need to go any higher. i'm a simple man whos happy with 24g SS straight wire or basic claptons.

Going to try it later today and for the occasion I'm going to try to build my first ever staggered fused Claptons.
Wish me luck (on both accounts).
So I made a pair of 26/34 staggered fused.
Not perfect but getting there.
PITA to make but worth it.
7 wraps came out at 0.28 and running it at 80-90W.
Is it better then the Supreme and the Avocado24? Most definitely! Better vapor, better flavor.
Is it better then a good RDA? Close but not quite there yet.

I have been running my Limitless Plus empty. I use exactly like an RDA - with no leaking as a bonus. This RTA is a beast. I could fill it up but meh ... I don't even bother. I'm running fused claptons at around .24 at 80 watts. Great taste and clouds ... I have it about 1/3 - 1/2 open. It competes with any of the RDAs I own. I have the black bandanna version that @Pancho_Brown sent me.

I swear I do not know where I'm going wrong trying to wick this thing! Dry hits galore......I'm cutting the cotton bacon even to the top of the glass, it will work if I vape standing on my head? Is this the way you have to use a Gennie tank by always keeping it inverted? What about dropping the wick into the tank?
BTW running homemade juice, max VG on dual SS @ .3 ohms @ 40 watts.

Can you post a pic? I've never had a dry hit - max VG, Cotton Bacon, wicked to the top of the glass like you. Only I'm running at 90 watts.

Stupid question: You're priming the wick, right? I gotta ask...

Yes, I'm priming the wicks after installing them, I have wicked loose & tight in coils and still dry after 2 draws, also tried single coil at lower watts? I thought my Griffin 25 was a pain to wick but this thing has me stumped........

If you wanna send to me, I'll wick it for you and send it back. That way you can see what's working for me up close from the inside. Here's a few pics of mine from the outside of the juice chamber.

I will try spaced coils tomorrow. Here is is right now, I have the hole in the cotton too large and it's leaking from the top while inverted. I must be cooking the juice out of the coils too fast?

Yes I use max VG 95/5, I have tinnitus and PG increases the ringing. I don't have any wicking issues with my other tanks with my juice. I'm waiting on my SS claptons and I will try again with them spaced and a higher ohm.

oko like i said i jut bought one and its on its way but heres my thoughts
1 you dont have enough wick at the tails in your picks. compare it to chefs picks chefs wicks fill the entile hole yours do not.
so i think thats an issue imho
2. what are those like 10 wraps at 28ga 3mm ID and its .3 ohms?
thats a lot of wire fr the cotton to feed on a big deck
i would go with more complex wires and 3.5-4 mm ids so you have enough cotton to feed the wire with out having too much cotton
try parallel coils or twisted, try another gauge maybe to raise the ohms a simple coil like that heats up and eats juice fast

My juice is 80%VG and it's wicked very heavily with rayon - I didn't even have to thin the tails. No wicking problems at all, using the included claptons (which I spaced slightly).

I cut my tails just to the top of the glass, but of course you do have to tip the tank to keep the wicks saturated.

I never thin out the tails. I know that most people do, but I just never saw a need for it.

i dont even see why you cut the wick
just make it so it fits in teh holes properly and run it through the holes and let it go as deep as it can into the tank

That's fine, too. I don't, but that's only because the extra cotton takes up more space where juice can go.

I'm sure it has been asked in here already but I'm going to ask again lol. Besides the size is there any real difference between the limitless and the plus? I guess my main question is flavor wise, is one better then the other?

How is everyone doing their tails ? I have tried several ways , with the tails right at the base of the screw on cap and protruding down about a 1/8 in and also one with tails about 5 mm off the bottom of juice chamber . All have strengths and weaknesses but the protruding wicks seem to give me the better outcome without the raised pinky tilt on a 45 degree vape practice

i was fluffing my cotton and thinning it, but last 3 wick jobs i just cut and have never had a dry hit with my og limitless or limitless +. i was running single coil, but now running dual clapton at 80-100w. maybe the dude having dry hits is taking 10 second pulls. lol. oh i run max vg too.

I fluff my tails and trim them to just touching the inside of the glass. My current build is dual kanthal claptons 0.24 running it 70 watts and haven't had even a hint of wicking issues. Every draw is dense and juicy. I haven't found the need to consciously tilt it to keep the wicks saturated. The natural motion of bringing it up to vape keeps it wicked just fine, even on a near empty tank.

I've ordered a shit load of stuff from ecig.com and never had a problem. I can almost guarantee this won't be a clone. Trackin# says they'll be here tomorrow, we shall see...If it's a clone, it will be going back.

Ecig.com sometimes put the wrong pics. They are the only one that doesn't have descriptions of shit they sell.. I called em out on it a couple of times for posting the wrong pics

Yeah they always have pictures that aren't the right product. That might be a pic of the prototype. I bet they have the authentic LP and it's the one that everyone has gotten from other sites. They just suck with posting the right pic.

I have my wicks protruding about 1/4 or so and have not had any problems. One of the easiest tanks to wick.
