Several update news with Asolo.
unlike other temp control device, Asolo won't reduce the watt automatically, that means it able to produce same vapor cloud as it is in watt mode,
it simply mark your favorite taste temperature, and maintain it, won't let it past the mark.

power with the most user-friendly chip, it is easy operated.

we add a new function "screen rotation function", same of the user may need it.

some small tips for Asolo:
1.keep power off when rebuild the RDA on Asolo.
2.To achieve temp control on Kanthal, make sure atomizer base connect well with Asolo tread.(Kanthal diameter less than 0.3mm or 3mm, coil resistance reach 0.5Ωor more.) kanthal itself is a sensor, only Asolo able to temp control it, Asolo is the most accurate temp control mod, super pcb design, makes it able to read a small change on kanthal, and taste control it well.
3.Add a thin Ti wire(0.2mm or less) on Kanthal wire coil to raise the accuracy of Kanthal temp control. at this time, Ti or ni200 can be a sensor to Asolo, unlike other sensor, use these kinds of wire can help Asolo read the temperature well and control the taste well.
4.Be careful to only attach new atomizers that have cooled to room temp to the device.
Add a thin Ti wire(0.2mm or less) on Kanthal wire coil to raise the accuracy of Kanthal temp control.

release date is in the end of this week, in fact we have stock now, but we need to be careful before ship out for sell.
we will make sure what we sell to customers are final version, the most perfect one.
use Asolo will change what you think about temp control mod.

have a nice day~~~

Then it's not doing temp control.
for the user, the most important on temp control mod is not to burn the coil, and for our mod it won't burn the coil but also maintain the best taste and vapor cloud.
i may agree with you, better call it temp maintain mod, once the e-liquid is not enough, it will stop working for 15s, user just fill the e-liquid and start vapor again.
we call our mod as taste control mod, because it works totally difference with other temp control mod.
it work accurate and it protect every coil.

Useless. Who the hell wants a device that stops working for 15s when you could just reduce the wattage and keep vaping.

You can't maintain the best taste unless your device limits power.
the power is not limited.
how do Asolo work.
1. find a right watt on watt mod and take several puffs. for example, you choose 30w to fire it, then the result Asolo get is, the best temp for your tank is 250℃,
at this timesimply enter the TC mode, in the TC mode, every one puff you take on the tank, won't pass 250℃. so never burn.
it only control the temp not to pass 250℃,it can still offer same power to maintain the taste.

if there are no e-liquid, you reduce the wattage and keep vaping, you will burn the coil.
what i means is , when the tank need to fill e-liquid, when the tank have not enough e-liquid inside, then the e-liquid indicator in the screen will flash to tell the user to fill the e-liquid. at the same time, if you fire it, the device won't offer the power to fire the tank for 15s, it just stop working until you fill the e-liquid.
just to make sure user can fill e-liquid on time.
it is the only way to make sure user won't burn the coil.

So its temp control... but it doesn't control the power output ... ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

And this is the song that never ends

So temp control stops at 482 degrees Fahrenheit-250 Celsius?

That sucks if you like a little warmer say 520f/271c

I'm sure they'll be an update lol

Ah, a common misunderstanding. Temporial Control is what is meant. When you control the flow of time, you don't need to control the power output, you know Daleks, Sonic Screwdrivers, The Tartis. Yea, that kind of stuff. This mod is going to be something else, Dr. Who would be proud.

And this is the song that never ends

only in several cases it will control the power, and it simple cut the power.
1.when the tank is over-heating.
2.when the tank is not enough e-liquid for vaping.
3.when the user didn't find the favorite taste before enter TC mode. this is special case, for example, the tank is sub ohm tank, it will need 250 degree to offer best taste, but the user simply take a small puff, the Asolo didn't get a right result, for example, it get a result for best taste is 180 degree.
after enter TC mode, the e-liquid indicator will keep flash to inform the user, because every single puff the user take, the atomizer coil heat is reach 250 degree.
the only way to solve this problem, is to let the Asolo learn again, take a puff same as usual, the longer time you let the Asolo learn your favorite taste, the accurate temp control it can make for you.

How does it know if I Dian find my favorite taste?

Can it make mount baker juice taste good?-- that would be a serious accomplishment

sorry for the trouble. every tank have its favorite taste. the Asolo will offer them best taste, but need to offer Asolo a good training.

if user do it right, the Asolo will do it right.
simply do it as usual,
users try the tank in Asolo VW mode for a start. same as in regulated vw mod.
then when you feel the vapor cloud is perfect, you would enter TC mode, and enjoy what Asolo offer to user.

Since its using a thin piece of ni200 or ti I believe this will actually work if the algorithm is correct. The mod will only see the lower resistance wire but the kanthal lowers the resistance as a whole. So if they got the curve right I believe it will work.

I am currently for hire to any Chinese manufacturer who would like a representative to intelligently communicate with the American vaping community.

Actually, she does her job very well: she posts useless images and longish posts full of nonsensical technical explanations every now and them to keeps her threads alive, and ultimately increase tbe Google ranking for the product she's plugging. Classic guerilla marketing.

I hope this product is never released because I don't want this thread to end!

That aside, I'm thinking they are using "very accurate" resistance metering to watch over the "temp" on whatever wire. When you hit "Learn" (should read "Buy DNA200") it just stores the current reading and limits (power) to not exceed it. It appears to just shutoff for 15 secs at this point. but it won't let the resistance climb higher than baseline. Unknown if it actually modulates power in any way. Otherwise, the main difference with this temp mode vs "true" temp mode is they don't necessarily make a correlation to the actual temp. You set your temp in wattage mode it knows resistance and watts internally. Either that or when you hit "Learn" it engages a quantum entanglement between the atoms in your taste buds and the coil head so it just knows what you like.

No shit right?
Course at this point I'm still on the fence with dna200 or a dual batter sx350j

I'm building a dual 26650 box mod with the SX350J at the moment. Will let ya know who it turns out at 150 watts!

The can't do any less than 3 cells on the 200 because of voltage and amperage requirements,

If they were smart they would give it battery control.

Rumor is they may take it down to. 100-150w so that it will take dual batteries

Someone said something about this being a corner stone for other dna chips that will run less watts in either single or dual battery mods. I think ecf or somewhere.

Yeah that's what I'm holding out for, I'd expect a 75/150 single/dual to appear soonish.
