yeah, me niether on the Joy - although I did get notes for a few others. It is possible they were in and out so fast (who doesn't want a bottle of joy?) that there wasn't time to send out the reminders to everyone.
yeah, I assume they send the notes out in the order they received the requests, and maybe only a certain amount at a time. I've gotten them before also. I did break down and buy Joy directly from FA, in case I keep missing it. I want it for HIC's Sweet Grahams and a couple other things I've seen using it. It's 4 Euros (4.50 US) shipping so I got a couple other things with it. I'll let you guys know how long it takes to receive it if interested. They state 5-20 days. I love BCV but I just need that Joy in my life...

@lirruping I just used honeysuckle for the first time yesterday in this recipe "Monolith," subbing cap hazel v2, 30/70, and made a second batch with half the fuji. The honeysuckle is floral and pleasant with the crisp fuji in both batches, using it with banana, though... that could be awesome

Hmm, that does look interesting and even the just way s/he's written up the recipe makes me want to try it. Among other interesting things, s/he says:

"...Sprach Zarathustra came to mind since the strong nutty flavors of the hazelnut balanced with the floralness of the Black Honey Tobacco and honeysuckle seemed a little epic.. "

That is so true. That is some serious seeming slight epicness right there!
Chuckling now and sputtering, mouthing "What?" ...shaking my head like kirsten wiig's kathy lee gifford character.

Oh never mind. I'm not weird you're weird.

Aherm. I don't have dx hazelnut or black honey. I could sub for fw hazelnut, but it calls for a lot (6%) of black honey, presumably a honey-flavored dark tobacco. I could maybe construct it. Does the mix taste very obviously like a tobacco to you? I'm super new to tobacco, having mixed my first one two days ago. I'm trying to open my mind back up to it as a flavor.

This is an example of the whole being much more than the sum of its parts.

The Whole

1.5% FA Guava
1.5% FA Mango
1.5% FA Grapefruit
1.5% FA Watermelon
1.5% FA Marshmallow

You can test it after you mix it, but it really requires 24 hours of steep time for the grapefruit to settle in. It is best vaped warm (40 watts), but it is good at 14 watts on 1.4 ohm single coil.
Optional: a bit of TFA Brown Sugar 0.5% helps to expand the flavors at low wattage.
The percentages can be upped or lowered 0.5% either way, but they should stay the same across the board.
Mixing up for my trip. Also gonna try some mandarine and grapefruit.

Hey Club! I've been a shitty member lately, we were out on a 1500 mile 2 week.road trip to see son, came home for a few.days, and then took.a.few days, and another thousand miles, and went to see sons fiancee, who plays for the national team in her sport do her thing, so while it was.super cool few weeks, my whole life feels like the record skipped and I'm just trying to find out what part of the tune I'm at!
On the subohm topic, I've found that the lower I go, flavor tends to wash out. And that's for fruits, tobbys and sweets scorch on me. I've found my sweet spot between .9 and 1.2 on my kayfuns .6 or so.on my big buddhas and around .8 on my squapeRs. But that's me.
So I bought some.mods too at some.shops on the road, thought I'd.give a.real.quick.half assed opinion. Bought this POS called a.curve from lost vape. Cheap crappy mod, internals are loose, and my charge port doesn't work.. RUN
Bought a.Sig 150 LOVE this thing. It's as ugly as 6 piles of shit on a rainy day, but you just can't beat it for the money. Bought a vanilla, got a great price, it's a battery tube. A well made super smooth tube, switch is great, but at end of the day, it's.a solid mech. Also bought a Pico. Always wanted.one and had a total loss of any self control when I.saw.one in person. It's.beautiful, it's well made, and ill probably be scared to take it out of house for years to come.
Anyway I've got a couple to post , but man do I need a few days(weeks) to get caught up.I mean I.Bought juice for God sake. It's just that bad!
I love how you describe things, 2nd. You put a :D on my face!

Any good place to get FA recipes.....and any idea how to mix up the cherry so it doesn't taste like cough medicine?

"War,war never changes"
Yes.

Use FA Black Cherry 3 parts.
and FA Cherry 1 part.
And of course the other ingredients and flavors you want to use in whatever amounts.

If you keep that black cherry/cherry ratio you shouldn't have any problem with cough mediciney taste.

Now I'll call you Vape-acino instead.

Hey! That's not a bad idea. I have no idea what Smokachino means . . . I've never smoked a chino in my life.

Thanks for all the congrats! I couldn't have done it without all of you fine fellow vapers :) I'm kind of a lone vaper, so it really helps to have a sense of community with you fine folks. Well, that and tasty juice :D

A little story about our company, I met the owner and became friends with him, our wives met, ( mine pure Italian as well) and we became couple friends. When we first met at Vapercon I, FA had brought Dr.Farsalinos into the industry for the first time( at that time he was a smoker and didnt know about vaping) and paid him and Dr Poloso well to do expensive advanced research on aromatics and vaping we called ClearStream in 2009. We removed it from our vape safe flavours in 2010. Fa and owner came to USA to present these findings and no one cared, not pointing fingers but this is an overall assessment of market response at that time. FA left and focused on becoming the biggest and best in Europe, while a few DIY sources picked us up, but there was no longer passion towards growing North America for FA. Many insisted on buying our flavours that we told them had Diketones in them still, sold to food companies despite our urging that science said this was a significant avoidable risk. People including myself as a hardcore DIY'ers and many here I am sure kept telling Marco our marketing manager in Europe they loved the flavours and were upset at the difficulty accessing them. Then ethical eliquid companies buying our flavours just recently called to complain as well. Finally last year we saw change in attitude to caring what was vaped and negative regulation on the rise which we had seen and been very involved in fighting in Europe. At that time he called me and we began plans to build North American plans in December. I have been working with Italy to reformulate key flavours without Diketones by listening to priorities in forums. Not every flavour is possible and still be yummy without Diketones. We are investing heavily to predict the needed research upcoming FDA deeming regulation. I am in regular contact with orgs that will positively affect the future in USA. I lead a group i created in Canada call CVA, www.thecanadianvapingassociation.org . Its a combination of SAFATA and AVA in USA. We have meetings this week with Canada's Health minister and things look good here. Search out Canada's HESA committee report for some published results of our efforts. In Canada vaping will be given its own distinct new regulatory framework outside of smoking cessation and tobacco. So we are here in North America and are here to stay to build a credible flavour company built for the end game, we will not be nor ever want to be the company that chases the flavour rabbit. That means no cookie doe or trademark infringing cereal flavours etc from FA, that others are doing. It does mean everything we sell in North America will be the safest best quality possible. It means we will bring new research to support the communities long term future. We will also not sell direct to consumer as we believe that is bad karma to build a retail DIY account and sell behind there backs as others do. I will ensure my North American sales manager, who has more time then me, is watching this thread, and maintain good communication with you our fellow DIYers. Maybe some contests and giveaways if that's allowed. As always know that FA respects and is honored to have customers that love what we do and thanks you.

Good to see a company not being reactive but rather proactive. Proud to say I regularly use FA flavors and I'm amazed how great your creams are without the bad stuff (even though I'm not particularly concerned about that myself)

Safe Yogurt, Condended Milk, etc sounds wonderful. Hope your N. American inititive is a huge success because it seems currently we are headed down a dark road. Looking forward to your sales manager being active on the forum and elsewhere. He shouldn't have more free time than you.

Hi Niagara and welcome! Clearly, FA has many fans here, I am definitely one of them :)

To answer your question, yes, contests are allowed here: http://vapingunderground.com/forums/contests-contests-contests.57/
You can also run contests in a vendor subforum (free of charge): http://vapingunderground.com/threads/vendor-sub-forum-information.254/

With those formalities out of the way...

Again, welcome. I predict you'll be very busy ;)

Ahhhh, I'd wondered why FA chose Canada over the U.S. I wasn't aware of this. Thank you for your involvement in the regulatory system here, reformulations, and flavor development with vapers in mind! This is all very encouraging to read about!

@Niagara That is why you are such an upstanding company. 1.) Your research because you care and want to give the best. 2.) Not copying others because you have morals. This may not mean something to many, but it carries weight here.

On a side note fyi, two flavor companies here that have outstanding costumer service and truly care about their customers, always making right with them.... 1.) Mamajsflavorshop and 2.) Bull city vapor.
