Weird. Try locking the atty resistance and see if it does it.
You do that by entering the menu (3 clicks). Put it in Ti mode, then go down to atty and hit the select button on top to the right. It should show a lock symbol next to the atty resistance.
Believe me, it has been locked ... doing this anyway. This time, I put it back in Ti mode without removing the atty. Vaped fine after. I just got up and cleaned out the 510 on a wild hair, but ... I didn't get any type of residue off the atty or the mod. It looks like I'm gonna end up with a warranty claim if it doens't stop happening and soon. Sad part is: I'm ready to order a back up, but I'm holding off till I get this one working consistently.
take the atty off, press the power button for 2 secs, screw the atty on, 3 fast clicks to get to the menu, right thumb the top selector to get to TI mode, left thumb the selector switch to get to the resistance listing, right thumb the selector to lock the resistance in. Let the mod exit the menu, and adjust your temp in TI mode and vape. Hopefully this will help. Resetting the mod by taking off the atty and pressing the power button for 2 secs is needed when you put on a new coil.
Thanks Zamazam ... I've also been through this already and continue to experience this Evic reset thing. I did do the atty reset again when I cleaned off the 510 - we will see.
