Was looking at just the bridge, but for $14 Euro might be worth getting the entire kit.
The way I looked at it, If I got the bridge and later (like an hour after I received it) decided to try the MTL kit, I'd have to pay the 14 euros plus shipping so might as well get the whole kit and caboodle and pay shipping once.

I'll be ordering a MF bridge myself soon... Vape budget kicks in again soon ;)

If anything I am a stickler for budgets.

Could get it sooner, and sell off stuff I don't use... Like the Haku's, Neo etc.

What is on the Picos are Chi-NarDa/Ca right now and those work great together.
Noone is buying man. The hardware thread is slow for squonks. Maybe it's just my stuff

I'd say that kinda sucks for you!
Well, look. I have one, another on the way and was about to get a third for the other BB on the way. I'll hold off until Friday, fair enough?
No sweat brother. I can wait on it if need be. I appreciate the courtesy though!

That sucks donkey balls! I'm sure it's not just your stuff, the other side slowed down too. I mean, there's a Nuppin v2 (I think) a bit high at $99 and a Chalice 3 at $45, not even a nibble in two days. The Nuppin at $70 would go in a New York minute.

Going to use this new BB with the Kanger coils for now. The MF bridge will be a future purchase. Maybe vape on the BB for a week before I buy anything else. :giggle:

So I think I'm done with BB rebuildables.

Woke up this morning, reached over for my authentic with the clone Exo, and mod-vape the coil went nuts and fired WAY harder than it should have. Luckily I heard it and stopped pulling immediately. Take a look at the screen and, lo and behold, 0.13 ohms!

I have a 1.1 ohm build in there. This is the second time this has happened to me and believe the screws in the SXK Exo are to blame with their rounded heads.

Ever since I started building I swore I'd never become reliant on coil heads, but with how inexpensive they've become and how reliable they are in the BB I think it's time for a change.

Should have bought that last MF Bridge while I had the chance!

Yeah, I like the Exo also, just didn't care for having to rewick every 2 days with it...and in the BB I am using a single flavored juice at 60/40 and only 5% to boot (Creme Brulee INW)

Just so convenient to drop a $1.89 coil in every 14+ days, sure flavor isn't as good, but 85%+ as good...I'm good with that trade off.

Odds are I could be persuaded to part with one of them when they get here. ....in a couple of weeks.

Ya 95% of the reason of going to a BB was so I could use ready made coils. I love squonking, but sometimes having a mod that is ready to vape or make ready to vape with minimal hassle is nice. If I want to futz around with rebuilding, I have my squonkers.

SXKUSBBB (ha!) has left the Hong Kong distribution center. That's usually the last notification I get before it hits New York, which will probably be on 7/3. Right on time.

Which EUC MTL have you tried and if more than one which do you prefer?
I have both the 1.3 ohm and the 1.4 ohm, I've been "stuck" on the 1.3 for the last three weeks. I guess I could change it with one of the 1.4 ohm coils and get back to you guys, after all I got my money's worth from this one coil.
The 1.3 ohm is ceramic with 316 SS wire, the 1.4 is "traditional" (whatever that means, maybe cotton?) with clapton wire.

I really like the MF bridge, I get a much tighter draw then what I got from the Nautilus coil/bridge, even with the TP installed. I'm on my third week with the 1.3 ohm EUC coil, flavor is still good. Comfort bridge $35-ish with shipping, MF bridge $66-ish with shipping, about two weeks wait for either. Comfort bridge only Nautilus/Triton mini coils, MF kit uses a broader spectrum of coils (0.3{not sure but 0.5 sure} to 1.4 ohm coils, covers DL to really tight MTL, coils are $5.95 (I think, at FT) a box of five. I ordered a second MF kit but not a second Comfort bridge. The Comfort bridge is shelved for now, waiting for a bit of free time to see if I can rig something for it. If you decide to get the MF kit and don't like it, I'll buy it from you.:vino:
Does the MF bridge use the normal boro, or the a-tank?

I know it's been discussed before, but which coils on FT are you using for it?

Also, what is the vendor y'all are getting the MF bridge from?

Sorry for all the Q's, I'm getting a bit fatigued from testing all the rebuildables with mixed results, and am thinking about exploring other factory coil options besides the Kanger SSOCC, and looking at a semi-restricted DTL draw now...

THANKS! :)

FYI, spoke with Mod Factory and they should have MF bridges in two to three weeks. Order the coils now from FT and you should have them by the time you get the bridge! LOL!

To expand a bit on the question from @Arthur-VU , the MF bridge uses the regular boro tank. The top two links are for the 1.4 and 1.3 ohm coils respectively, both are MTL so nowhere near DL land. The last link for coils is the 0.5 ohm coil and @troydestroy can tell more about the draw on those since I never had/used them.

Thanks for this info.

Methinks the smart choice is to get the whole kit, and if there are bridges that I do not like, I figure I can always offer them up here to you guys...

I actually like the MTL side of the kit, it gives that tight draw I prefer. If you do get the complete kit and don't care for the MTL side of it, I'll be more than happy to give it a home.

Right now I'm vaping on the SSOCC 1.2 Ohm coil head with the Kanger bridge.

It reads as 1.47 Ohms when installed. I have it at 16w. It's a nice vape, but a bit restricted for me, considering the ID of the coil is about 2mm.

I may stop by the local shop today (GoodGuy Vapes, in Rockaway, NJ) and grab a 5-pack of the SSOCC 0.5 Ohm coils to verify if I want to go with them down the road. A little pricey @ $14, but I can always order more from China for less if these work out.

IIRC, the 0.5 Ohm SSOCC coils are more open with ~3mm ID on the coil, so that will allow for more air flow. When I've been rebuilding these, I'm making the coils on 3.5mm ID, and that has worked well so far. Nice slightly-restricted, but open draw...

Using TC with SS wire in these when rebuilding these SSOCC coil heads is wonky, as the DNA chip does that thing where it shows 3354 degress and then OFF after about a tank full of juice, so I plan to use Kanthal in the future, and am waiting on spools of Temco KA1 in 24g, 26g, 27g & 28g from Amazon which are supposed to be here on June 2 as per tracking today.

The 24g KA1 I will use in my other atomizers, but the thinner gauges will be an option for the BB for any rebuilding.

In the Kanger-style RBA head, and in the Exocet, the most wraps you can do with 26g before the coil starts to deform as it binds to the screw posts is 6 wraps, and 7-8 wraps on 3mm ID is what I'd prefer for a 1.1 Ohm build, so I need to go up in gauge, and I did not have KA1 wire before in thinner gauges, only SS...

I don't plan to Clapton anything so I do not need the 30g+ thinner wires.

I am planning to get some SS Claptons made for me by @Pegleg Meg since I dont have the patience any more to do it myself, and I've spoken with her via PM, and she is very accommodating to my request. I just have to decide and let her know which ones I need her to build for me.

Since you find the 1.2 ohm draw a bit restricted, I'd say save your money and get only the standard MF bridge, don't bother with the MTL side of it. When this guy said MTL, he meant it. You will find it like sucking watermelons thru a drinking straw.

Ha Ha! Thanks for the caution. Yeah, I have avoided trying any tanks or RTAs that claim to be MTL as per the marketing nowadays for fear it would be too tight for me.

Seems the standard MF bridge was sold out earlier this morning, so I will wait until they are in stock...:)

Billet Box Bay on FB is gaging interest in a group buy for the MF Bridge. They're a UK based group so I'm working on trying to find out if shipping to the US is a possibility. I'll try and keep you all in the loop. Looks like the price will be 25.50€ ($29. 47) plus PayPal fees and shipping per full kit.

I'm going to get two for that price!

Very interesting, just be aware that if you buy 11 or more from MF, they are 19 euros a piece.

for the regular ones yes... the MTL full kit is the one Jmoney is referring to, which they don't show a price beyond 4+ which is 39.90 Euro

to me it seems a good deal and added my name to the bunch.
