Most of the Amazon river is in Brazil.....only a small portion in Ecuador.
With tongue planted firmly in cheek, I have to say that yes, I knew that (I got straight A's in high school Geography classes). :)

Anyway, just did my nightly prowl around the house and saw the temp is already down to 37, so I'm guessing it will be significantly lower than the forecast 35 come morning and we might have moved the horse trough prematurely. Sigh...

Well, Dale, it has been lots of fun talking to you this evening, but I gotta put my butt to bed now. Catch ya tomorrow. And if anyone else has been reading our silliness without commenting, good night to all.

I like fishing for bass and crappie. That being said, all we have is snakes, turtles, carp, and gar.

I just been reading about the piranha paranoia. LOL
All in fun....I was kidding Rich about his wife wanting the salt aquariums back in the house....:teehee:

Was just making suggestions for fish species....with piranha, he could feed the horses and cattles to them if things got tough....

This way, he wouldn't even need salt....:vino:

Yep, you called it right.....that does hurt.....:(
The surgery helped take stress off a couple of major nerves, but they could not fix all of the nerves that get pinched. Bone spurs suck. So do bulged discs. All they could do was remove bone that pinched nerves against the bulged discs, which put my pain levels to what they were 10 years ago.

At least I am able to spruce up the old homestead. I have a little trim on the outside to finish, then make new shutters. After that, we have a shed that needs fixing up. All we had at the time for the exterior was old tin. I wanna make it match the house.

Naproxen 500 mg twice a day for pain, and baclofen for the muscle spasms.
You should try Kratom....cured my pancreatitis....

Was taking close to 80mg oxy and 30mg hydrocodones...now I take nothing but Kratom.

Sorry that I was not on last night.
Had to crash out early so I could get up early this morning to drive a few hours to attend a Great Aunts funeral.

Hope Mr. Juicy is ok. Does anyone know how long his surgery was supposed to take?

Good afternoon Old Pharts. How's everyone?

I'm coming down with a cold, and in a frump. Have had my office door shut all day so I don't give the creeping crud to anyone, but consequently, they have left me alone, which is a good thing...except that my office, I'm sure, now smells like Rainbow Drops. ;)

Meeting hubbs for Chinese (it IS Tuesday) after work. Working at home tomorrow if I'm not full-out sick. I'm at home tomorrow either way.

Anyone here use tanks that require Atlantis-style coils? Have any of you ever tried the Vaporesso ceramic ccell coils that fit the Atlantis? I just ordered a box along with some VG and a few flavors from eliquid.com. I'm excited to give them a try on my Sig X Tank and Geekvape Illusion Mini.

Later, gators.

I've used those Vaporesso ccells in,,,one of the Melo tanks I think it was. I liked them then. Seemingly cleaner taste and longer lasting than the oem's.

At first light this morning, for as far as the eye could see in all directions, the world was once again WHITE! Luckily, most of it was gone a few hours after sunrise, so I went to Sturgis and got a load of hay, grabbed some take-out at the Chinese place, then came home, we unloaded and stacked the hay, then pigged out. Yummy.

We got to 93° today. Today was the first time this year I went outside in shorts. After a nice shower, it was time to paint my nails for the first time in 2 months. It was pointless to do my nails when I was having to paint the house. You can not get latex paint off nail polish. Now, I'm relaxing with an ice cold Miller High Life.

I prefer Asian buffets. All I can pig out on for one price. Especially when they have frog legs, decent sushi, and shrimp I can chew with my gums.

Right at the moment, it is only 37 °F (3 °C) outside (10:30 PM), so it is guaranteed to be below freezing in the morning because the sky is totally clear. The weather map suggests we will be getting a cold front out of Canada in about two days, so there might even be more snow.

Sturgis is far from being a big city. They have one Chinese place, and when they go home to China on vacation, you ain't gettin' no kind of Asian food in that town for a month or more. We're happy to get what we can, but even if they had frog legs or sushi, I wouldn't touch it.

I painted one of my toenails black in the 70's. When wearing flip-flops, everyone would ask...Wow does it hurt?....
