Shit that is more than my last mortgage.

A whole lot of these are more than the "capital" portion of our mortgage, which is only $310 -- it's the escrow portion for T&I that pushes it up to $535.

Hope a good water based lubricant is used. Oh, sorry you're talking about the vaping market. Kind of had a wandering mind for a bit. I think @snake94115 had some trouble with the fishnets. I was showing him how to use nylons as cleaning cloths & he ducked off to the galley. Bet he's after @Train 's special cookies. Can I listen more to you talking about this penetration stuff, erm um market stuff I mean. ;) :)
Actually I was damn near asleep next to my wife when I heard chirp from my smartphone.

If you do hit it, I'm a good little gigolo. Wife has kept me in line recently with a little more fresh sexual harrasment. One of these times I fear she will rape me ... oh wait, damn. Never mind.
You know I'm saying this as a friend but sometimes I feel your mind is a bit like the song below.

My property taxes are more then that a month, f Vermont and it’s pricey homes.

Heh, my aunt was freaking out because our prop taxes are around $1600/yr, while hers are only about $500 -- but Gwinnett county has some of the highest taxes in the state -- and the best roads, too! Even when they tear up the roads royally for some new construction project, they get it done lickety-split! And I think we have the highest per-capita number of LEOs and fire/rescue people, too, and they also take very good care of the drains and sewerage. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else, and damn the high taxes!

My place down in the everglades was like $378 total but that was back in 1970-something or other. And it contained a working ranch. After my divorce from my second wife I basically gave the place to my top-hand.Sold it to him horses and all for $1 but put the deed in his newborn son's name.

Another day (night) dusted...
Ouch the sun!
Quick meal, a dog walkies, close the blinds.. zzzzleeep, rinse.. repeat...
Had a little fun puttering around just now, bought two more of the Alliancetech BF kits for my other Petri V2's.. lucky to still find em in stock somewhere but no US shipping so going to my Paris address ...hopefully they'll get em to me by Christmas.
A bit steep for what it is but hey. ...they work so perfectly.. Not gonna trust myself with a drill and still less than getting em Catfished.
If you put it in the Signature Tip or beauty ring expense category ...I got a smokin bargain!

My husband will be 65 next week... so next year's taxes should be a good bit lower; I think the school-tax portion drops off, after age 65. So ours might end up about the same as yours. :)

Wait...What?
How is it you've never managed to read what many would call the penultimate bohemian novel by (Jack Kerouac)

That's easy. I was schooled more with a bent toward the classic education of liberal arts. This meant I slugged through lots of ancient texts, up until about the 1800 - 1900's or so. Then, given advanced reading in the form of slush pile samples from various authors that used pseudonyms for that educational program. For instance I read Carrie by Stephen King but it was not called that nor was he, actually she was named Helen Bickerstaff or some such. Carrie i think was titled Bad Tuna Sandwich, all this literary misdirection was deliberate so as to let me, other advanced readers interact with contemporary writers, it also kept readers anonymous. We analyzed, critiqued, noted means to improve, answered essay questions and such.

If the authors themselves did not submit directly, their agents and or editors did so. This helped a lot of publishing back in the 1980's as I devoured six different students worth of these programs on four levels. They specifically forbade me poetry, beat, jazz or otherwise as it was what I was writing. Math bites with gnashing teeth for me. words are swords backwards but my seductress and lover if I allow. Not been in such a mood of late. hoping the move will improve that. Need to catch up with Walter B. Gibson. :)

This is why Mr. King got ran over with a van care of Mr. Koontz at my suggestion. How dare he use automobiles to frighten clowns into being psychopathic child molesters? Then, i realized it's all been a ploy by killer ninja tree assassins. This is why no more attempts on Mr. King have been made and i find great joy in working up firewood. That and someone showed me the greatest thing ever, sporks. :)

Actually I was damn near asleep next to my wife when I heard chirp from my smartphone.

Ah sorry, lost track of your mental voice there for a bit. Clearly explained now. Duh dumb ass me forgot "gee other people live too." :) Remind me, have I eaten today? Oh yeah, I did. Cereal and peanut butter bread, it was ... food.

You know I'm saying this as a friend but sometimes I feel your mind is a bit like the song below.

*nodding* You now know around a quarter of it. Yep, the dark looking glass reflects far deeper. Part of taking back empowerment to a degree for me involved severing emotions. I've since learned a fair amount of better coping skills and am not a cold surgical animal that I had been. *sighs* You never understand crazy, you only hold on for the ride and well what colors you, colors you.

It's not so bad now, until you here me chanting something by Drowning Pool. "Let the bodies hit the floor, let the bodies hit the floor ..." Then, please remove from overly populated areas. My eyes will likely be glass orbs reflecting everything and nothing simultaneously. It's a panic attack, I get very, very, agitated ... animated. Good to get me to a calm place with few people. I also will need to recharge, I dive into myself it's nothing personal. No joke, no haha sarcasm, no drama, I just black out and later on folks tell me what I did.

Yep he was the brainz of the outfit.
I just found out that he had not been with the band for like 3 years and was in very bad shape before he died.
Him not being in charge explains how they wound up with Axel Rose.

Yeah. He had a stroke on stage while playing a concert. No one realized this except Angus, who thought "something" wasn't right. Think I had 'heard' recently he had had a heart attack but was stable. Still resting up and looking forward to going back on the road. Wife just messaged this other. That screws a week. No disrespect to Malcom or the Youngs at all, just well, I grew up on AC/DC.

I read that he had alcoholism and dementia.

He drank a few beer after coming off stage for years. Yes, he drank. Alcoholic, I don't think so. handled what he drank it never handled him. He did not need to drink and did not for a while at one point.

Kind of been downhill though for the band since Phil Rudd got charged for threatening to kill a promoter. He was their drummer. I could crack wise about the Spinal tap movie finally making sense but I won't because it's not right.

So the Hotcig RSQ is the real deal. It is a small, solid well built squonk that makes the VT Inbox look bad. It is all of 79 mm in height. Tiny for a regulated. Sadly it is not 20700 ( I have three mech 20700 squonks I love) but still ... btw, that is a B2K on top. I have two.

View attachment 96848

Yeah, I'm holding out till I find a nice, light, DNA squonk with a 2x700 cell. No reason to invest in another single 18650, 2x700 is the cell to run if you ask for more than 15a from the chip. 18650 is dying a slow death and it doesn't know it yet.

That is a very nice mod for the price but I'm not picking up a second 18650 side squonk so holding out ;)

Maybe the 18650 is dying a slow death. But remember the 26650?
2xxxx based mods are coming out in a rush so they can sell more mods.
I will be staying with the 18650. Just ordered 4 VTC4 batteries for 4.50 each.
Just call me a battery Luddite, but I see no real reason to buy more mods for maybe 25% more capacity and a larger size/weight and more cost per mah of capacity.

I do remember and vape a hohm slice with their battery just about daily. If it weren't for a new squonk obsession, that was my all day every day for a fat single coil build.

18650 can't push the same power for nearly as long. I run the VTC5A in my squonker with the same build as my slice and there is a difference half way through their capacity and the 26650's capacity I would estimate at least 30% greater.

The 2X700 is giving the same juice with a hair more height and much less girth.

Time will tell but other than those that want to hold on to a way of doing something just because it's what they have or what they know, they can buy the 18650's but I see the industry moving towards the newer cell for better safety and performance for what most of us are demanding from our single cell mods.

People running under 15a builds, sure, stick with the 18650.

Higher cost, yeah, it's newer. Give it time, as it becomes the norm, cost will decline.

I can buy around 2.5 3000 MAH batteries for the same as for 1 20700....
Costs more per MAH and I do not mind changing 3 batteries per day vs 2 if 20700.

Yep I pick what I want to use and am not driven by what the vape companies want me to buy.
I do not follow fad or fashion.
Not a problem either since I have enough hardware to last me the rest of my life.

And so far there are only a very few 2XXXX cells that really beat out the 18650's much for over 20A vaping.

then too there are some problems with some 2XXXX cells not fitting very well in mods.
And NO I will NOT use an 18650 adapter sleevy thing in a 2XXXX mod.

I don't carry spares, discharge capability and capacity means a lot to me and if there is something better, I will pay a small price for it without blinking. Something as small as cost per mah in something I replace once a year and costs ~$10, not concerning myself with pennies per day.

If you vape at low power settings, you are not the target audience for 2X700 or the majority of vapers that these companies are advancing performance for to sell new stuff to.

If you're happy with 18650, by all means, stick with it.

I vape from 18 to around 40 watts in My mechs.
I keep spare everything handy.

Illumn.com has 1 20700 available and it is a 12 amp one.
And 1 21700 available and it is around 9 amps.

Neither one of these would work for my vaping.

The 2XXXX cells will have to become more widely available for them to really kick off.

I like 20700s, the promise 21700s have for the future of vaping.

Even before the VapeCell Sanyo 20700a rewraps were announced, you could get them for about $8 a pop, granted you had to work to get them out of a DeWalt cordless battery... they were authentic and get 10 for $75 and change.

I think many of us with a ton of mods in the 18650 will stay the course for the reasons we all like... to me its not about if a 2x700 mod is larger or heavier, already disproved that when I built my 2x700 orca and placed it side by side with my Molly...splitting hairs I know...

Anyway, the way I vape now (45-50w) and the 50+ 18650s I have to the 4-20700s, it will be a while before I change my mind...not that it cant change, but for my needs, no change is needed.

I have a few thousand invested in 18650 squonkers which I plan to use the rest of my life - and except for accidents, my genetic life expectancy is a minimum of age 90 - it will take a lot for me to switch or even do both

Time will tell if the 2XXXX cells push the 18650s out.
But as I said the 26650 was going to take over now those mods tend to be on clearance...

Right, but that’s because 26650s have internal resistance much higher than 2x700 batteries. I think the latter has a better chance of becoming the new standard than 26650s ever did.

Trust me, I’m not about to bail on my 18650s any time soon but I am much more hopeful for these new generation batteries with higher amp limits for better safety... more mah would be merely a bonus.

Love my 20700 mods, and now have around 10 of 'em.

Lessee... there's 3 Admirals, an 11:11, an XXX, a custom wood Sonar squonk, a Captain, an Oceanus, an RX Machina, and an Ultra 24k. Oh, and I succumbed and bought a Pulse today...

The issue is not if 2x700 will take over, the real issue is they just may not be manufactured anymore. 18650 aren't manufactured for vapers.

Most of the 2XXXX cells have a higher internal resistance than good 18650's do.
A few of them are low internal resistance though.

Actually I am watching for the 2XXXX mod rage to kick off so I can get some great deals on 18650 mods :)

Where we are 1 year from now will tell the tale on how much of the market the 2XXXX cells will have.
We are in the new fad stage right now.

The 2xxxx batts. are a fairly new thing to me and I've been reluctant to buy a mod solely for the battery format. If they are used in flashlights, like the 18650 , that will drive the market.
