We talking about the same tank here? The glass is exact same as my Griffen 25 Plus. It's actually thicker then my Serpent Mini glass that both of those glasses cracked by just taking them off to clean. It also looks the same width as my OBS Engine tank glass.

Well I having some bad luck with this tank, to begin with it arrived with one of the small glass tanks cracked, and now after taking apart the larger 6ml tank that decided to crack on me as well. :(
I'm sure they went out and sourced the thinnest glass they could possibly find.
And I've yet to see any available spare glass tanks for it yet, unless I'm looking in the wrong places.

Yes it deliveries on flavor, but what cheap material they have used in the making of this rta.

There rant over. :D
That's odd. The glass on mine is solid

Where did you buy it?

I've had listed as authentic products coming out of china show up as not actually authentic when it got here.

Only complaint I have with it is the post screws are absolute crap. Maybe for standard round wire builds they would be ok, but for anything like a fused Clapton that needs more "bite" to be firmly trapped against the post, they will strip. I replaced mine with some compatible screws from another atty. Other than that, this thing really shines, particularly in dual coil mode. One of my favorites for sure.

I think all attys should use hex screws. Phillips and flats are just a strip waiting to happen

All screws of this size need "gentle" handling .Most important is the screw drivers enter the slots as firmly as possible and always the right size .If they have the slightest play they tend to "jump" out of the slots and ruin them .

Yes , but thinking m3 4mm long may be better on the single coil deck just for Lenght of posts , will dig them out tomorrow an try since the Single Coil deck has slight longer threading on posts , ,
M3 fits well though ,

Seems to be a run of black ones with a wee bit of paint in the base causing low ohms or no atomizer.
That's from Fasttech, but I also heard from a guy who bought his at a B&M.
Perhaps I should go SS.

I always go SS now , the paint always causes problems be it on threads an causes fitting to be tight or lack of connection or wears off at some point making it look cheap an nasty ,

I'll hopefully get my SS one today after bringing back the faulty black one. They don't open for another hr and they only had one left yesterday so I'll call once they open and hopefully it's still there

I really want one atm but this is the only thing holding me back.

Of course I could probably get over my black preference if I saw a good US-based sale that matched the Fasttech price :)

Meh, I got tired of thinking about it and just pulled the trigger on a SS from Fasttech.

I mean $26...why not. Plus their last few packages got here in a week (ok, knock on wood there).

I shook the dice on the black.
If the bad batch was larger than I think, then I'll have to deal with it.
When the canoe from China docks, I'll be first in line.

No leaks at all

I haven't had any leaks with mine after 3 tanks.

After 3 days of continuous use, even with reducing the wick tails on the dual coil deck, I have not had any leaking at all.

Well, mine are still rowing their way from China.
Meantime, back on that other forum, there are reports of seeping from the AFC ring. Someone else had a full 6ml tank dump in their pocket.

If that's so, there will be two black EXOs for sale. I no longer do wet tanks of any kind.

However, that's the only reports between the two forums, so maybe I'll get lucky. Though I'm already gambling on the black.

there could have been a bad batch or it could be user error. I do know a few people got a bad insulator on theirs

With RBA tanks many times ,if not always , has something to do with the user .All the o-rings are thin and very flexible so they need care and gentle handling .I've seen Busardo or Daniel of DJLsb to ruin an o-ring just by catching it while screwing the base or the fill cup .Or people put a lot of cotton in the coils ,forget to put an o -ring in its place etc. And usually people put the blame on something else but themselves .

The issue with the tank leaking was user error. He didn't tighten the extension when he mounted the 6ml tube.
The other was reported once and not verified.

So, when the shipping gods smile upon me, I'll take it for my own test spin.

Still loving this tank, great vape even for MTL, and easy to build on.

Only problem I've had a few times, when unscrew the top cap to fill, the chimney unscrewed instead, and I'm concerned cranking down to much will crack the glass, wish they had put knurling on the metal under the fill cap too, then could easily hold both pieces when unscrewing to fill.

So it's been about 2 years since I even tried to run a single coil build in a sub ohm tank.

What kind of kanthal coil builds are people even running for single setups these days? I usually vape at anywhere between 35-45 watts, and wouldn't be against buying a custom made one if it really makes that much of a difference.

At what Ohm are your coils? 35-45 watts means nothing .It's the applied voltage that matters .

Bah, thought I added that in an edit before leaving the page. My bad.

Usually around the 0.25-.3 area (depending on the deck. For my Amomimzer Supreme i usually just default into throwing in two quick and spaced 3mm/4 wrap claptons), but I can be flexible. Really just looking for ideas on what other people are running while being satisfied with the experience.

Been loving the ss exo I picked up a few weeks ago. Went ahead and ordered the black one from fasttech to hold onto until I get my funds up for a black therion.

is the standard exo better than exo xl?

Also compared with other IJOY products how do these compare to say something like the limitless?I know some might say oranges and pears but might as well give it a go

I never leave the house without the Exo. Stays right on my Therion everyday. I do bring my other Therion with me each day basically rotating a couple tanks. I vape the Exo 80% of the time for sure each day. Love this tank.
Exo and a therion? very nice set up man!

I have tanks i like more than other tanks, I have tanks that I strongly recommend,
BUT
I don't have a tank that I vape 80% of the time.
That's an incredibly strong recommendation.

TFV8 tip won't fit. It uses a standard 510. I've tried a few, and so far I prefer the Aromamizer Supreme tip.
thank you sir.
but using a 510 means there are a lot of tip options out there. I like the 2 puffs style myself for 510 tips

Same here. I can't stand it on the Supreme but it's great on a few others. The Exo and Serpent Mini 25 specifically. I use the tip from a Baby Beast on the Supreme. Double o-ring tips seem to work better for it, the singles(like the one it comes with ironically) don't like to seat properly.
