As of tonight none of the people in the round 2 virus preorder have made the list. So depending on how many virus she sold in round 2. That number is still missing from the SS. 15-20 people i really don't know. That fresh money too ship mods or buy parts. Yea she took 200 buck from me just over a month ago now.
Looked at her Google Docs and did a little math on what I remembered her stuff sold for. There is about 64 people on the doc. Low ball estimate of $11,400 was paid to her for all the mods. 64 people paid an estimate of $400 on shipping. Parts high estimate.....64 people at $60 for parts = $3840. That leaves a profit of around $7500............

Nowadays, no one is trustworthy. Consider yourself lucky with DZ. Yes, Josh's works are all good but the service just doesn't exist. Ordered two mods & 1 battery but received only one mod. Sent him several emails but no response at all. CC company helped me to get the money back in the end. There are a few JCMS customers who couldn't get their problematic or defective box mods repaired as Josh simply dropped the ball.
For me they have been awesome. I was sent the wrong color mod. They told me to send it back and they would get me the right color and they did. Just had an issue with the switch and just sent it back. They contacted me when they got it. I think it's how you handle yourself with them. Be respectful and they intern give it back. Not saying you didn't, just saying. Or maybe I'm just a likable guy, lol.
Wow just wow this girl has gone off the deep end. It is sad because I know people who know her and said she is a super cool chick. I think she got in over her head and made bad choices, and she may of got ripped off from some of her vendors that still doesn't excuse not telling your customers whats going on. You can't just leave people who trusted you with their hard earned money hanging like that. I personaly have nothing invested in this other than I hate to see my fellow vapors be taken for a good amount of money. What the hell does she mean she has cops watching this thread? The only reason I think some one posted her address was so that people would know where she was at if they decide to take legal action. To some of you who have been waiting 7+ months for her to send out what you paid for your best bet would be to chalk this up as a expensive learning experience, but ultimately it is up to you what you decide to do. Hope everyone gets some closure in this soon.

I saw something on my local news last night about a woman that was operating an animal rescue. She took the donations and used them for personal use. She was not feeding or even provinding water for the animals 
My point is that out of about $20,000 that she received, she used $11,500 for personal use and is facing FEDERAL charges of breach of trust. There has to be similar laws regarding this IMO

But on the surface it's obvious that Shanmod's has handled this extremely poorly. Not communicating with their customers or providing the product and service that they were paid for upfront and then an apparent attempt to substitute components without the consumers knowledge "Cana". It is interesting that Shanmod's has power, internet and the time to rapidly respond to this thread and shut down websites & FB pages etc.. without first notifying existing customers of what was going on in the first place and after having excuse after excuse of why they haven't delivered to the consumers. You know what they say about excuses?? they're like a-holes everyone has one. Now I'm not a lawyer but my understanding is under normal business practices when a company folds they end up going bankrupt and the court will have a Sheriff sale of the business assets and proceeds would be distributed to everyone that the business was indebted to. In this case I doubt there ever was actually a business and I also doubt there was a business Tax number or anything at all as far as an actual business goes. Probably just run out of the garage or bedroom. Perhaps the BBB would know more or even the IRS. I know if I were involved I would not have waited 7 months for a product I had paid for and would have requested a refund much much sooner.
I don't believe there is anything the police would do for anyone calling in other than telling them that it's a judicial matter. So although it's good to have a thread pointing out the scammers it may be a good idea for all those affected by non delivery of service or product to form a group and chip in to hire an attorney to represent the group and take Shanmod's to court.

I have been a customer of Shan's for a few years and have had outstanding, beautiful work done on the multiple mods Ive purchased from her.
Had a hassle free experience with the few times Ive sent back a mod, first being because I changed my mind on the decor design and battery set up (converted a the BOOM to a Gadget/Hybrid as she called it), and 2nd time because my RDA damaged the center post. She did a great job and the only cost to me was shipping. Most other places would charge maintenance fees plus the shipping.
Its very distressing and unfortunate for both Shan and her customers to see that the successful practices she had been accustomed to back when she was making the Splash VV's (where the distributor of her mod parts was an honorable, reliable company) were not prepared to account for all the unexpected misfortune of Evolv's poor services. Among other things such as the unreasonable charge backs put onto her when it was Evolv causing extensive delays on the RMA's. Understandably this is frustrating for everyone that even something at as low of price as a little over $100 is still expensive for most individuals to spend their hard earned money on.
Ridiculous still is this lynch mob of a thread. The lot of you ought to be very ashamed of yourselves behaving so uncivilized like a bunch of feces throwing wild animal chimps. Most notable to name is VapedCrusader, Cherrycakes, and RobB for senseless name calling and perpetuating so much unreasonable hatred toward one person to the point of endangering her family and friends. Dislike Shan all you want, but this rally of hate needs to stop. We have a judicial system for a reason, its not "the 50's" anymore for a reason, and that is where you need to address your concern. She has over the years made it clear that she is a person will do whatever she can to honor her customers. If she says she will complete as many of the orders as she possibly can I personally believe she will.

At least the flip side of all this is that while there are some people taking advantage of others , there are so many people that PIF, so in the end the vaping community is still outweighed by more positive actions of others rather than the negative. Of course as more people get into this the more some people will want to just cash in.

Sure - I get what you are saying.. but the pre-order scam and scamming through FB groups and forums is getting out of hand.. with virtually no repercussions.. I don't like seeing people getting ripped off.. no matter if its for 20$ or 200$.. You could very well be right on the $ figure not equaling out. The bummer about some of these mod builds is that they seem to be relying on purchases as front money in order to begin the process of buying materials. I would rather see a builder pony up their own cash and invest in a limited number of mod runs, then begin to build up their capital so that they can create a self sufficient business rather than needing seed money to begin. Of course many of these things are not real businesses but more like hobby projects and so they are not operated like a business.

I certainly hope the cops in her area are watching this thread, they should have quite a bit of information to begin the process to charge Shan with fraud, mail fraud, wire fraud. Shan if you read this, you really have fucked yourself royally. All it's gonna take is a few of your customers filing fraud complaints with your local PD and you will be standing before a judge before too long.
I've already spoken to authorities and the people with the right facts on this matter. Here's the thing, there's not a fucking thing they will do, other that file a complaint and move on to more serious cases. Privacy have been breached as well as THREATS to mine and my son's wellness [which has and will be handled accordingly]. There is NOT fraud because I have the proof of EXACT figures, as well as proof mods are STILL being built - but again all most of you are doing is speculating and pulling shit out of your asses, because you live for the drama. I'll continue modding and updating the document on my healthy days and doing as I can. Not being involved in this discussion in any way, but just happened across this, sorry, but if your local PD told you there was nothing that could be dona against you, they were definitely wrong, seeing as this was done across state lines and involving money it becomes FEDERAL and goes under the statutes of mail fraud, if the money involved is over $5000 total it becomes FELONY. Speak all of your BS, but nobody that I have seen on here has made any threats against your person, they just want what they paid for, or for you to receive what you deserve (NOTHING other than some time in the free hotel paid for by us tax payers) which by the way, I hope you paid taxes on all of that money you received form people who ordered, otherwise the IRS is even nastier than the USPS when it comes to prosecution.
