In my experience vapor is hotter than smoking a cig if you vape hot.there isn't the same kind of heat coming off of vapor that's coming off of a burning cigarette.
In my experience vapor is hotter than smoking a cig if you vape hot.
And I direct inhaled cigs in short order.
The tobacco and filter behind the flame/ember cooled the smoke.
I have to wonder a bit about the Benzoic acid.Sure, some people vape extra hot
Not this time though.
it's a Juul.
they are temp controlled so it's only going to get so hot.
not hot enough to burn holes in someones mouth.
I have to wonder a bit about the Benzoic acid.
Somewhat nasty stuff, known to irritate and such.
Definite eye damage risk.
Nic no worries from here though.
NOT a carcinogen and basically like caffeine on the human body.
I just keep an open mind on possible vaping risks.
Because I am convinced that it cannot be totally risk free.
And I personally know how some ingredients in flavorings very negatively impacts me.
would put me in the emergency room if I kept up vaping the offending flavorings.
And I have NO known allergies, heck I can weed eat posion ivy with no ill effects.
But only if I vape the offending flavorings. If I ingest them no issues.
I can eat peanuts fine but they will kill some people.
Point is not all people react to vaping the same way.
Not everyone who smokes will get or die from lung cancer.
I got that impression when I tried a Juul back when they were brand new back in 2015. All four of the flavors available had a strange "off" taste to me. It remained even when I extracted the contents of several pods, cut the stuff down to my regular strength with PG & VG, and then vaped it in one of my usual devices.I have a strange feeling that Benzoic acid makes eliquid taste like shit.
Interesting. I've heard people argue just the opposite; that salts are more stable than freebase. From a chemistry standpoint, I'd be inclined to believe it. Think about it, there's no pure sodium or chlorine found in nature, but plenty of sodium chloride salt.Edit: it also causes eliquid to go bad much faster after opening it.
Back to the original article that started this thread: If heat on the roof of the mouth causes cancer, people better stop drinking hot coffee, hot tea, and hot chocolate. These being water-based liquids, they are far more effective at transferring heat to body tissue than the wispy vapor from a Juul.
