some really nice tracks here

I'd love to hear some more of the songs you enjoy, Seepling! I've been on a couple of these forums, and I'm not sure why, but our fellow vapers do seem to have especially great and eclectic taste in music.

^^^I LOVE that song! Been quite a while since I heard it though. Thanks for the stroll down memory lane.

Thought this might give you a chuckle, Ash -

English Shame - Dan Melchior

"When you're forced to hear Oasis, you feel that English Shame"... just as an Anglophile across the pond, I feel it, too!

He plays ALL the instruments on this track (and most of his other songs, too).

Okay, so if you dig both science and music and you can spare to part with $20, you really should go here - http://artichoketheband.com/product/26-scientists-volume-one-anning-malthus/ - and buy Volumes One and Two of 26 Scientists by Artichoke (Timothy Sellers). Only one of the 26 songs is on YouTube, and it's one of my least favorite tracks, but it's still worth a listen -

Isaac Newton - Artichoke

Also, if you know a cool kid, buy this for that kid! Please?

Willow Tree - Rasputina
English

No shit, another Raspitina fan. You don't see someone who listens to them very often. They are one of me and the lady's favorite bands. We got to see them back in 03. They haven't came around Ohio since then. When she had her kid the touring almost completely stopped.

Black Cab Sessions - Scout Niblett

Wow, just now found these Black Cab Sessions while I was looking around for something live from Scout. They're all real old and surely old news to everyone but me. Some great acts have tooled around in that back seat!

I desired to screw with my kids today as I often do. I like to make them embarrassed, well because I can. I put this song on and dance around like a teenage girl. They get that uncomfortable look like they're saying Oh my god in there head.

Now for the reason it embarrasses them. If it was their mom, they would be ok more than likely. But I am a 6ft 245lb metal head with a long goatee. It is really fun to do when they have friends over.

Um, not a song, but an interview with an artist: Lou Reed.

Hey, thanks, bob! Even though, as I've mentioned, Nico has featured in various nightmares of mine for around 20 years (sometimes morphing into a puma, etc.), I do love the VU and Lou Reed with heat of a thousand fires....or maybe the white heat of a thousand fires -

That's sure to be a rollicking good time, bondo! Have a BLAST, and maybe come back to tell us about it. I always love vicarious thrills when it comes to live shows.
