I'm using the 0.50Ω coil head that came installed with the tank and the Littlefoot mod, and am quite pleasantly surprised at the amount of flavor it produces. And the vapor production ain't too shabby, neither! The one thing nice about the wake RTA is you can take the deck out and throw in .5 ohm coil heads as well. The dotmod you can't do you that.. I waiting on my coil heads to come. To give them a try.
I should clean my floor...
That is such a nice combo for the cost. Surprised people are not jumping on it. I have the Wake RTA w/ the tank option and a dotmod 75w. Love it.I'm using the 0.50Ω coil head that came installed with the tank and the Littlefoot mod, and am quite pleasantly surprised at the amount of flavor it produces. I think it's because it's only 60 watts. I originally wasn't gonna carry it because of that, but I really wanted to help James and Ileigha out so I ordered a bunch of them. And like I said, I was quite pleasantly surprised by the flavor. That is such a nice combo for the cost. Surprised people are not jumping on it. I purchased this product and it did not come with the bag of spare o rings or the hex tool...I tried contacting Wake Mod Co via their website and their e-mail address doesn't exists so i tried my supplier they too could not email Wake Mod Co they couldn't contact them either via email, it would be bounced back as well. So i found them on good old FB....They would be the rudest customer service i have ever had i asked them could they send me the bag of goodies they said they had a protocol to go through. Four days later i contacted them again to see what was happening they told me they were not Amazon and needed 24 hours, I gave them four days???? Never buying Wake Mod Co products againSo my Wake Mod Co. RTA finally came in. I haven't built on it yet, but it's quite similar to the Dotmod RTA, only better. Here are a couple of pics. I have to take care of a few things, but I'll put a build in it later and see how she vapes and let you know the major differences between it and the Dotmod RTA.

Dam just got the Triple by twisted and Vandy lucky everything came with itVandy Vape is just as bad. I'll never buy any of their products ever again either. Customer service is very important.
Bought one about a month ago....damn good flavor atty.I'm using the 0.50Ω coil head that came installed with the tank and the Littlefoot mod, and am quite pleasantly surprised at the amount of flavor it produces. And the vapor production ain't too shabby, neither!
Never in a million years will I spend $250 for a RTA... Hell I kinda bitch and moan about spending $75+ for a RDAWell, there's always "The Tank" by Scottua. But it's $250. And Scott isn't making any more of them (for now). Also, they hold 100% of their resale value.
That's a slick little set up. Should be posted in the matchy matchy thread.I'm using the 0.50Ω coil head that came installed with the tank and the Littlefoot mod, and am quite pleasantly surprised at the amount of flavor it produces. And the vapor production ain't too shabby, neither!
Always manLet me know what you think skold
I decided to go with the sub ohm ver. its great when it comes to flavor. Now I just have to deal with buying coils
I believe you'll like the atty....damn flavorful, easy to build, perfect airflow for ML or DL.I have one on the way and it should be here by Friday, I look forward to using it.
I fell in love just by looks alone
That's my kind of atty, I do bothI believe you'll like the atty....damn flavorful, easy to build, perfect airflow for ML or DL.
I’m pretty sure you could have gotten the RTA version and just take the deck out and use some sub ohm coils. Pretty sure you can’t get a rta deck for the sub ohm version. Seems a bit silly to not get the RTA version unless your absolutely set on never wanting to build on it

I've gone back to factory coils as got sick of building. Been using nautilus tanks as got sick of burning through liquid all the timewanted to get the subohm. I'm digging it so far. I have too many rda's

The Nautilus is a true MTL tank and that's hard to come by. The only one that came out last year that was a decent MTL atty was the Berserker. The rivals Ares and Siren 2 didn't come close. You could funking lung hit off the Ares. There's the Kayfun Prime but that isn't cheap.I've heard great things about the nautilus, never used them
I went to smoking recently and sub ohm setups weren't keeping me off smokes. I do still sub ohm but it's definitely the Nautilus and some higher nic juice that keeps me satisfiedThe Nautilus is the tank I was using when I was able to finally quit cigarettes completely. That $29.95 basically helped save my life!

Yeah I've had to up my nic to 6mg sub ohm and 18mg MTL. Even 3mg in a dripper at 100 watts didn't cut it!When I first started vaping I still craved cigs. I just upped my nic and strickly used tobacco NETs. Did the trick.
That is odd, no problems here. Been using it for weeks.Anyone else having issues with the airflow control ring on their Wake RTA? The damn ring won’t stay on the tank, it’s fucking annoying as hell. When I put it on my mod I literally have to hold the ring on the rta and then spin my mod onto it rather then screw the rta onto the mod... very disappointed. It works flawlessly but this airflow ring situation is a giant problem for me.

I hope they make it right too...really like the Wake....damn good flavor, simple single coil builds.I just messaged the company, hoping they’ll send me a new ring. It’s a shame because I was literally just going to buy a couple more this week. Hoping they make it right and it’s only an isolated case.

Unreal.
It’s just sitting on my mod and blocking part of the airflow slot

Can you see what was holding it on?I didn’t even know the ring came off the tank until I took the tank off my mod yesterday and it just slid off the tank

Hahahaha....There’s not much airflow on the tank so I vape with it wide open. I wish it didn’t look so stupid without the afc ring because I’d just take it off

Probably.Honestly, no. It’s like it’s meant to be a tight fit and just stay? Idk... it’s probably one of the things they had to cut corners on to keep the price so low

Probably.
lmfao.............This is also the easiest and cheapest way to release different color tanks. Just make the same gold chimney, deck, etc and make removable color afc ring and top cap

Yeah, the way the airflow turns so smoothly, I figured there must be some type of o-ring installed. So after further investigation, I’ve come to the conclusion that there was supposed to be an o ring at the bottom of the tank. There was a slight indent but I assumed it was somehow meant to catch the ring. Unfortunately, mine must have not come with one and there are none that were the right size in the baggie we got from them. I had to improvise and use a different tanks o ring and a piece of dental floss. The ring does indeed stay on now but this experience has turned me away from purchasing more... the reload rta is just as good, if not a bit better with better airflow. I’ll more then likely purchase Another one of them unless I can find another worthy tank.

I usually use squonkers with RDA's...but the wake is at the top of the list for flavor.Yeah... mine is staying on now but u can still see it’s not perfect... the slightest touch and it slides down a tad. Still miles better then before though. If wake mod co responds to my email I’ll explain what I had to do. Hopefully they send me the proper O Rings.
What are your favorite tanks right now?
