Its a very solid workhorse for sure...I took out those gargantuan coils and tossed in some 2 x 24N80/40N80 Fused clapton (6Wraps/3mm ID) just so I could vape lower then 170w and still have a warm vape...and juice consumption has just been doubled lol. The coils look dinky in it...which is funny as those same coils look huge in the Griffin...For those wondering Ive had this tank for 2 days full now and I have dumped atleast 200ml's easy through it...( yes I have a issue with my intake...I know..)

I only need around 120w for a decent vape now and the output at 150w is pretty insane, wick is keeping up and Im pretty stumped on what to put in the Extra Deck....I might do a Series Build for it and rock the Boreas on the Lucifer Mod..

Now this isnt one of my CoilPorn pics and its not pictures that flatter the coils in any manner...these are pics of the build right this second after a full night of draining batteries and gobbling juice down @ 130w-180w, this is the build now, right this second of posting.

The New Build!

ROTFLMAO! Those have to be ss coils for tc right? You would almost need that 1kw mod on you tube to fire that sucker, right?
Those are all Nichrome80 Fused claptons.
I use the Hohm Wrecker G2 for TC...It can TC anything, even Nichrome/Kanthal/ and various metals twisted... and it does it very well...can also fire down to .007 Ohms ;) the 151w's it has feels much hotter then most 200w boxes I have with fresh cells, Im thinking that its a true 151w and the 200w boxes are faking it.

I use the Mason on the Hammer of God Box Mod (Quad Parallel) and have a Hammer of God V2 (Para-Series) on the way...They fire just about anything I put on them and the wattage output can be pretty insane.
That Build above on the HOG V1 is around 352 respectable watts, on the HOG V2 I wouldnt run lower then a .1 but thats still 700w+...and its safe.

How do you hit that thing at 700w with that short ass drip tip & still have a tongue?

I use Cotton Bacon V2...Never a taste...you can burn it and not taste the singing...and its amazing at absorbing the juices!

I use cotton bacon v2 also and love it. I tried kendo vape cotton gold edition and it’s pretty good but doesn’t wick up the juice like cotton bacon does.

Practice my friend lol
The coils are far enough away that it doesnt give any spitback and the amount of room and air cools the vapor...Its no hotter then most RDA's with half that build. Ive had the same build in a 30mm RDA and it was much hotter. Also Im not using it at 700w, Im using it around 350w...I would use the HOG V2 with a .1 version of the same build. That drip tip is about the size of a 22mm RDA...its not tiny or short by any means lol

30mm Coo TS RDA with 2 x 24N80/40N80- Fused Claptons on top and 2 x 22KA1/40KD Fused clapton on the Bottom...took some math skills to make sure they all heated up evenly but I pulled it off...

Back to the Topic at Hand, I was going to try some Quad Micro Fused Claptons in the Boreas....may be worth a shot...

What do you folks find different between the cotton bacon and say...KGD?
Better wicking I assume?

Better everything...and it doesnt come in squares....it comes on a long strip (5") and they are very thick and you pinch off 1.5 times the ID of the coil and roll it in your palms and its the perfect size and density...

Can you tell I like CB V2? Each one of those Strips I get 5 or 6 wicks out of for a entire setup...well for 22mm/24mm RDA's anyway. I split them in half then half again then roll it and Each strip from there can do 2 coils. If you save your scaprs then you could make more wicks later I guess.

Someone showed me a pic of Boreas on a Minivolt, lmao!
I dont mind overhang as long its justified...The Boreas on top of anything works for me...I will be using it on the Lucifer as its taken all then fun that I had with the Noisy Cricket and made it in a slightly larger more comfortable package.....and its got a Trigger! I love Trigger type mods lol I would have bought the Magnum by Fourth Horseman Customs but they were out of production and stock when I got the chance to...Ill be picking up the Point Blank Lite and Hollowpoint mod and the other Trigger mods as they are made...If I find a Magnum I will pick it up though, with no hesitation..

You've got some damn nice mods there!
Lol Thats the tip of the Iceberg Woman! ;) but thank you!

I dont like posting all of them as I feel pretty embarrassed on how much Ive actually put into this hobby but some people are like me and love to pick up everything that comes out and review it so others can decide on what devices to pick up with their hard earned money...

I'm very limited by money. I have an extensive collection of mostly cheap shit :D
I only had Evods/Early Subtanks before I was recruited by GE a little over a year ago and now I have a decent amount of income, but I was making less then 18k a year before that...with 4 kids and no help...I completely understand what you mean by limited...I havent lost the appreciation for where I am now and hopefully things happen for you soon...your name is out there now and thats what I wanted from the RTA I was designing for Leon. Just a shout out-it could lead to great things in the future.

Just think I was a junkie living in the gutter and didnt have anything just 6 years ago...

I think you'll enjoy it with the single coil build, too, especially if you want a tighter draw. I ran it for 3 days to test it. Then did the dual verticals because I knew people wanted to see that also.

How is juice consumption with the single coil? One of the things that I like about normal single coils is that it does not eat the juice like a dual does.

I barely used juice compared to all the other builds I've done. I was vaping it at 34W with a SS coil. I imagine with kanthal I would've been lower.

You are making it really difficult for me. I am getting really close to ordering a Boreas

I may as well tell you guys. The top cap did have some cut outs for grip on my initial design. For some reason, Augvape chose not to do it that way. Maybe for the look.
That is a shame, it really is needed. That really is the only downside to this tank.

You really did nail it, I absolutely am in love with this tank. The wicking is really easy, I do love my VCMT 25mm tanks, especially since I got the wicking down. But this beauty really does beat them, I've already pre-ordered the Black one and can't wait to get it.

I believe the sales are going to be great and should sell well, I would live to see something like a Black/Gold version later ;)

So I just preorded this bad boy. how much wick do I need in the deck? Do I need to cover it or is it good enough to do like I do my drippers and just have enough to hit the deck and those juice holes? I ask because of how you have yours wicked. Never been a fan of having cotton under my coils like that

I pull my wick through teh coils and then hold it down beside the deck and trim it just under the edge of the deck. then tuck that inside the deck under the coils. havent had an issue yet and have ran my fused claptons (2x26g kanthal wrapped in 32G SS316 3mm ID 6 wraps) at 150 for most of a day. nice warm moist vape.

Someone on the other page was asking about wanting a restricted draw but still allowing plenty of juice flow... when im at work or my lungs just need a break from 150+watt vaping I run dual 26G spaced 6 wrap 3.5mm coils at 55 watts wth the AFC/JFC fully open, then close it off so only about 1/2 of each hole is open. this allows the juice flow to be almost fully open, but only the Airflow is restricted.

This tank is by far my favorite out of all the ones i have right now... MT, MuTank, Aromamizer, Crown, TFV4, Diablo, VCMT 25mm, Ohmega Alpha 22mm, Ohmega BFT 30mm...

Yeah if like my bft more if it didn't dripper when on its side as for work I have to pocket my mods and it happened a few times today. I have a lot of cotton in there too so eh.

I loved my BFT. nothing could touch it for my vaping preference... Then i got this tank... My BFT is now my reserve tank that I carry on my spare mod just incase something goes wrong with my main mod and Boreas. With my Boreas I carry it in my pocket on an RX200 when at work. havent had it leak in my pocket yet. But then you can also just close off teh AFC/JFC to help stop that... With the BFT, yea anything over 45 degrees and it would mark its territory like my old harley did.....

I got mine the same week I was on vacation so it was never tilted or anything so it worked just fine. Only a little dribble when filling sometimes. Then I went back to work today. I have 8 stops in a day and 4x I took it out after a stop I had some liquid coming out of the airflow. I guess it's just the tank. Using 80vg and have the juice channles filled with wick. Oh well lol.
