A Fralien I put in the Tobhino. 2x26KA1 frames, 9x.4N80 cores, 36N80 Alien wrap. .16 ohms. She's a warm one in that tiny RDA! Just the way I like it!

@Pegleg Meg have you seen the hedgehogs with inlays? I’ve seen a few on Instagram, they run a tiny coil through the gap in the hedgehog bumps
Yah, I don't remember who I saw do it first. I wanna say it was wirejunkiealexfen. Called it his shredder build. But it's started to become popular. It's so cool! I haven't even tried a hedgehod myself lol.

Gonna try to work on my ssfc today. Gotta get those down. Need to figure out with Vapetool so I can build some duals for my Kt-x rda. Just not into .12 Vapes that much

Dual SSFC is pretty difficult to get much above .17 without going high gauge frames (30+) and stuffing a fk ton of wraps. A 28/38/5 ply .3/3mm ID/7 Wraps/dual runs ~.17 (pre-fire). This set-up BARELY fits in a 24mm, postless, atty. Now, grant it, I use Ni80 for frames. So you can bring it up a bit more with Ka frames. But the ramp time is going to be pretty long if you do that. I found that even with the Nichrome frames, the coils start to dry out before I get a good hit. So, depending on how high you want your ohms ...

What gauge ribbon do you have? Got 0.3? I will poke at it, too, I love using using vapetool lol

P.S. have you noticed the big air on the KTX? You might wanna go for a single coil?

A single coil 6x 0.4(k) + 26g n80 frames, 5 wraps and 3.5mm id would be good in the ktx (imo) about 0.19 ohms

I have all that stuff too. Gotta get a larger coiling tool. 3mm is largest I have that I know the size. I could take a stab at it with a drill bit but I don't like winging it.

It's definitely airy. I've got two of your aliens in it now. I might have to try with the single coil option.

3mm is my favorite size for this kinda atty, anyway - yeah my coils are def more for air that can close down more than that for mucho flavor, I don't push 100+ watts, 60-70 is my happy place

Bonus of single coil in this (or KTX) is it's almost an RDTA - holds a loooot of juice

0.15 ohms, 66 watts

Well you were right. This is the bees knees. A little more rowdy than I like but just take one or two less hits. Lol getting plenty of nic with this build. .16 fralien. Oh and to clarify this is not my build. I've yet to get staples right let alone alien's. Thanks to @VAPEROXX for the coil.

That looks great man! We are always our own worst critics. And don't feel bad about the stitch. The only thing I can stitch without collapse is a mohawk ... and only if it's a core set that is supposed to be collapsed already. Oh and I did successfully stitch one day while playing around with tiny core sets and massively oversized decores. I have tried 100 different ways ... at least a few times a week for a few months ... with suggestions from some amazing builders. Eventually I just gave in and decided to put it on the backburner for an undetermined amount of time.

:D I'm still dreaming about making clean ones like this

The stitch seems to help keep the wraps lined up, not sure about why your cores collapse with a stitch
