Simple single coil @ 0.32 ohms.
People have the hardest time staying simple! Hard to tell from the pic but I'm guessing 24g? Diameter? Your making me use my braino_O:)

I love simple, because they are predictable and solid performers :) 22 gauge, ID is 2.4mm.

Do you happen to know how many ohms that came out to? Also, what gauge wire did you use?
0.12 ohms and i used 22 gauge. Just did a four wrap parallel and carefully separated them.

#BigBoyStatus! lol
Haha, not really. Have this on my Stillare V2. Clouds are not impressive when fired without the top cap, but when you introduce airflow they get pretty good. Just tried this to see if my cotton survives longer before having to rewick.

Still pretty cool though. Some guys that really get into cloud chasing come up with some crazy ass builds!

Yeah, im partial to both cloud and flavor chasing. This turned out to be decent in both. But if you look at my previous posts, you'll see that i do like my clouds :D

So, why doesnt everyone just put the length of wire used to create each coil?
for me its hard to tell the length, because I have it long enough to work with then after I make my coil there is no way to measure it

That makes tons of sense. On other quick question. So when you add a second coil the ohms are cut in half of the original coil so if you have 4 coils would the ohms be 1/4 of the original coil,

I would think so,,,not real sure as I have never used more than dual coil

You clapton by hand?!!! I'm trolling around some artisans here!

ha...I am no artisan...my drill went "missing" at work...waiting for tax season to buy new tools. In the meantime....I wrap about two wires a month...usually while listening to mod envy in the background ironically. Yeah, I know I need a social life.... o_O

2 strand 24g internal & 34g outer wrapping, .19ohms running it on my freakshow and it's vaping real nice
The lemo build is 24g and was around .8ohms, these were pics i took after to show how good the cotton held up and it's been threw about 4 tanks and still looks like it could go another few weeks, but that chimney build is lovely on the lemo

Flat Ribbon Wire wrapped around 9 times for a dual tin man coil - 1.01Ω - running it on the Big Dripper Clone @ 20 watts. Anyone else got any unique flat ribbon builds they want to share?

I've done builds with flattened 20 gauge, clouds bro. Also tried flattened 22 gauge parallels, but those had a tendency to pop.

Clean(ish) parallels. 0.12 ohms every time, like clockwork. I post a lot here and my builds are nothing special, so let me know when it's time to slow down.

Got bored tonight. That's 18 ga wire for the negative, and 5 wrap 24ga for the four coils, at 0.14 ohms.

All juiced up. It's just a novelty build. Good flavor and a decent cloud, but I've done twice as well in a third of the time and with a quarter of the materials.

Did you fabricate that wire yourself, or did you purchase it? That's a gorgeous build, by the way.

I'm thinking of trying a clapton tonight.

is it pretty easy?

Spinning clapton coils takes a bit of practice, once you get the technique down it's easy. Here's a video that should help you get started.
