I just returned from southern AZ about 4:00 today, most of the day was driving. Twas a tad warm today, pushing 95-100 I believe....but the humidity was a zilch, actually felt nice.

Mechanical timer has given up internally, not the little motor.
And can't get one and the couple of places that show them out of stock show them for around $280!!
That is 1/2 the cost of a nice new dryer.

These "idiotic risks" which men have taken afford women the luxury of boarding an aircraft and flying from New York to Los Angeles in 4.5 hours - while never once needing to take an interest in the basic operating principles of a jet engine. To me it is less trouble to shave my face than to have a beard.

And most of us have been well programmed by parents, society and various media sources and even religions.
To live in a totally logical manner is impossible for humans in a "modern" society.
