This may be my next purxhase, depending on the price point.
The Kanger Dripbox 160 is actually not too bad at all, considering the price and it's features. I've been using mine with a Velociy Mini by Tobeco (came with a BF pin). I'm at 95W with the coil, and eJuice I'm using. However, I can't complain about the lag, some people are referring to, heating up the coil(s). I have to agree though, on the RDA, that comes with the mod, it's no improvement over the previously released Dripbox. There's just one other issue with either Dripbox, not every BF RDA will work on them (e.g. Hastur RDA). It seems that all of the recently released products are lacking the quality that Kangertech was known for. IMHO, just like many other manufacturers of vaping products, they are trying to release as many products as possible, before the FDA "regulations" can be applied, thus resulting in par quality products. Products, that either companies would never have released to begin with! Therefore, we might even get regulated mods, that are unsafe to be used.I've been eyeballing the kanger drip box 160 but would rather have one with a better rda. Everyone complains about the kanger and if this is a velocity style it shouldn't be horrible... hopefully.
Let us know how it vapes.
LMK when you want to trade it, lol. I have a beautiful mech for you ... http://vapingunderground.com/threads/wtt-el-cabron-mod.260506/

build a single coil on it.
I am not giving up yet, just hunting for a good MTL atty now, but that doesn't seem a easy task nowadays.
Check out the Hastur 2S RDA. With the right coils, and airflow, maybe your own drip tip, you should get a good, flavorful MTL hit.I am not giving up yet, just hunting for a good MTL atty now, but that doesn't seem a easy task nowadays.
Nev, I tried mine today...it's a nice squonker for 70 bucks. So you guys think it's worth the price tag. Still on the fence about ordering one. Always wanted a squanker and this one just might be it. Let me know how you all like it??

Thanks I will probably end up getting one.Nev, I tried mine today...it's a nice squonker for 70 bucks.
I really like where the fire button is. Looks super comfy. Thanks, looks like I'll be squonking soon. Here is my "used for a few hours for two nights so far" assessment, lol. I vape at 1 ohm (SS coil) almost exclusively and am mostly M2L and do not bother with TC
I have not built on the atty that came with it because I really dislike those super-wide DTs . I'm looking for a an adaptor for 510, but that's just me. Am using an Odin atty instead for now.
As far as the mod for squonking for my style, really, really liking it.
Pros:
Fast ramp up time
Position of the button
Stock bottle is super-soft and you get two in black or clear
well balanced and solid
beautiful to look at
cons: Settings are a little fidgety for me, but I mainly squonk on mechs. I don't like having to read the instructions on a new mod
Setting the bottle was awkward at first
door on the bottom is a little hard to latch
For the intermediate price, I would buy it again.
Squonkers, especially regulated ones, seem to come in two price ranges. Uber-Cheap or out-of-reach expensive.
Moved it for you. BTW, I really like the looks of that. Might have to see about getting one.Might be a good purrchase.
I'm loving it, that they finally come out with decently priced Squonkers, even regulated. However, 5 ml bottle, that's quite small though.
@Huckleberried, maybe, this thread should be in the Squonker's sub forum.
So I had placed it in my cart at ecig-city and just left it there for 4 to 5 hours while I was deciding whether or not to purchase it. They emailed me and said finish your order and here is a 10% off coupon code to do so. So I ended up paying 67 bucks plus 5 bucks tax. 72 bucks and some change for the wraith, Samsung 25r, and 60 ml of juice delivered to my house. Not bad. Excited to receive it and try squonking. See what all the fuss is about...lol. Thanks again for your opinions on it, helped me make up my mind.
Yep, it is more than a 5 ml bottle.I've really been tempted by this. The 5ml bottle was a bit of a con but if it's really much bigger, I think I'm picking it up.

So I received my wraith. Like it so far. One issue though. Is anyone else's battery door hard to get on when you put a battery in. Mine is really really hard. Feels like I might break something but I have to put a lot of pressure on it to slide it on. How are your guys battery doors???
Edit: I reread your guys earlier comments and seems like you guys also have tight fitting battery doors. Mine is a true pita. Does it get better over time??
My thoughts exactly. That door is a pain. I feel it will break very soon. Hopefully that isn't the case. Only time will tell.I just got around to taking this to work and actually putting it in rotation. THAT DOOR IS NO GOOD
It is just a matter of time before it breaks.
The first time I went to refill the bottle I almost thought it would break rather than shut smoothly. It twists at the hinge.
It kept twisting and latching unevenly. it was difficult to get it shut without pushing on the squeeze bottle, causing some overfill through the atty.
After actually using the Wraith, I would not recommend it because of the door issue - it is that badly designed.
Yeah I noticed when there is no battery and or bottle it slides fine. It is the spring that puts pressure on the battery and bottle that makes it almost impossible to close. Probably the august 8th deadline had them rush it to market. I just hope it holds up because I spent close to 80 bucks on it and I don't have money falling out of my ass. I have to work a hard days work for 80 bucks.I'm really surprised that Council of Vapor put out something like this.
As far as I can tell, the problem lies in some kind of spring system in the upper sections of the mod that puts pressure on the bottle and battery.
It requires way too much pressure for the strength of the door hinge. It slides okay when there is no battery and the bottle is empty.
It is a nightmare with battery and full juice bottle. I thought I did bust it on the first refill. I didn't, but it is just a matter of time.

Yeah that sucks. I'm not mad, you didn't know. It's still a nice mod. Just hope the battery door doesn't break.I hear that, I'm a little ticked off. Especially because I totally recommended folks buy one over the Kanger dripbox.

I also bought one. And the door is a PITA. I have trouble with it even if there is no battery or bottle in the mod. Poor design, and I don't think it will hold up long term. I'm also not impressed with the RDA. Lackluster performance and a bitch to build on since the posts are so far apart. Overall, not happy with it,but will use it since I spent money on it. Will be looking at the Geekvape squonker and the dripbox2 when the hit the market. And my dream squonker is on the way from Sonor505.
