I've been on oc48 lines at a data center and still had intermittent issues occurring with some outside services, so keep in mind it might not be at your location but perhaps a drop down the line or a hop here or there.I'm on an unthrottled 250MB (yes, big M, big B) pipe at work, so pretty sure it is not my connection. I have a 60mb connection at home, so probably not that either. My phone on LTE perhaps. When it acts up next for me I'll shoot you a tracert. It has been pretty fast this afternoon though.
@CJ i notice it most when
1. you hove rover the flag for notifications
and
2. when you are scrolling down a page that has a long list of replies. It freezes about 2/3rds of the way down
While this is true, it would only make sense if it was a group of users who happen to in the same line. It seems to me its wide spread and sporadic. Which while it may be something down the line, it could still be something on the server itself or something in the software itself.I've been on oc48 lines at a data center and still had intermittent issues occurring with some outside services, so keep in mind it might not be at your location but perhaps a drop down the line or a hop here or there.

It does that. These are complex machines that are almost as fast as the human mind. Even I slow down on occasion but not often. I asked one of the Doctors @ the University after I obtained my Masters Degree in computer science why computers work. He said, we don't really know, but it's Bitchin' !Has anyone else experienced the forum freezing up for a couple of seconds and loading slow? for me this started happening yesterday afternoon.
I have tried firefox and explorer keep getting froze and no problems anywhere else.I'm on Chrome. So far, it's fine today.

Hypothetical......I wonder if this thread could be causing the forum freezes
