You know what bugs my ass about health care lately? Every effing major hospital I get service at - or at any place remotely connected to one - puts you on a fucking mailing list begging for donations. "Help us build this...", "Fund research for left handed cancer.." And I'm sure every one of these damned fund drives is run by an executive being paid a quarter million dollars to do so.

No why do people get more distraught over 20 people dying in one incident vs 20 people dying in separate incidents.
To me 1 human being murdered is one person getting murdered. All wrong.
Yet people being murdered by guns in the USA is minimalized by the gun extremists while the same group gets very distraught about incidents like this.

If this happens in the US, the NRA will advocate for children to be able to carry a concealed weapon.
And yet when the NRA et all goes down this path they all seem to overlook the fact that carrying a gun does not impart precognition. As if gun ownership suddenly gives you an extra sensory ability to react to catastrophic events before they happen.

I have to say the kids win my sympathy.
If money was honest and backed by something tangible, I'd agree that deflation would be inevitable when the credit bubble that's been blown over the past few decades finally bursts. In fact, that's what should have happened in 2008. But instead, the Fed monetized much of the bad debt. As long as there's a PRINT button on their keyboard, they have the ability to tip things the other way. Not that it really matters, you get a depression either way.
The mass killings generate more fear and some are more fear driven than others.
I think the fancy term for it is "quantitative easing".
