Cookie, Vanilla Classic, Coconut, Nut Mix, Lemon Sicily, Tiramisu, Mandarin, TFA Cranberry
Just added Cookie, Lemon Sicily to the list.

I have Vanilla Classic and Vanilla Bourbon and use them frequently. I have so many coconut flavours my wife thinks I've gone nuts. Leaning towards the Mandarin but how is the Cranberry in terms of tartness/sweetness?

Thanks:)

I was excited to find the meringue I got to be crystal clear.

I'm not crazy, my mother had me tested.

Is this a shake and vape ore does it need some steeping time? Sounds really good.

Best advice would be to go into the recipe section and take a look. Most of what you see there will be FA recipes. Everybody has their favorites, but you will see the most used (all of the creams, vanillas, custard, cookie, meringue, fuji apple, the new nonna's cake...the list goes on forever). Just accept your fate and grab all the flavors that you can. But be VERY aware that even when you think you almost have them all, you will ALWAYS come across a recipe that calls for that ONE flavor that you don't have...LOL So plan on lots of orders :)
You speak the truth!

I have an entire cupboard full diy related stuff and still can't stop!

The great thing is I have a good friend who I got into diy and we generally order together and both get to try each others choices;)

Do you like cranberries, or ocean spray? TFA (not FA) Cranberry is spot on cranberry. I can't call it tart or sweet, it's just cranberry, lol. Mandarin and Cranberry are in one of my ADV, one of HIC's recipes. Quite flavorful, very bright.

Oh man, that FA Bilberry is magical. That one along with Fuji and White Peach are the best fruit flavorings on the market IMO.

Not sure if anyone's mentioned FA Joy yet, but it's one of my favorites to use in bakery recipes. It brings the sweet and a hint of fried pastry to the party. I will not recommend it without a single caveat, though: Some people hate it. So get a small bottle to start!

I have to say, cranberry isn't one of my favorite flavours but I do like it. I did add the Mandarin. I can see that as a stand alone plus a great mixer.

Ya the Bilberry is just excellent! Very happy with it and can't wait to see what other uses I can find for it in existing recipes that need a little pick me up. It's just such a real taste!!

I spent a lot of time on the western coast here in Canada as a child and wild berries weren't hard to find. I'm often disappointed with any store bought berry now as a result and my wife just doesn't get it. She grew up in Georgia where I'd have thought she would have had a similar experience but I guess not. I've tried many of the so called wild berry flavours and none have hit the mark except Bilberry.

I've looked at Joy and wondered if it might be something I like. I'll add a 10ml to my order to check it out. The great thing about FA is a little does go a long way:cool:

(wow, this thread is hopping today :))

...I'm picking up FA Cardamom (I love Indian sweets and just the earthy warmness of the way they use spices), ...
Any other suggestions for must haves from FA's line for an old-ish guy with a sweet tooth?

and what the heck else can I do with Tiramisu!?

I'll suggest FA Black Pepper, since you love Indian flavors and "earthy warmness".
And since you're liking bilberry with cheesecake, my first thought is you might like this, too: http://vapingunderground.com/threads/hics-tiramisu-cheesecake-simple.3174/ . You can make all kinds of mocha recipes with it. An old one still a favorite for me: http://vapingunderground.com/threads/hics-five-star-fancy-coffee-customizable.1827/ . That one gives you an excuse to try some other flavors, too.

Just reading that makes me weak kneed!

Crappy that the diy shop in my part of the world doesn't sell FA Blackberry. I tried TFA (I think) Blackberry and couldn't stand it. It overpowered everything I used with it and wasn't overly impressed with the flavour.
I made it without the Blackberry, I didn't have it on hand. It was SOOO flavorful and I was simply amazed with my first experience with Bilberry. I haven't made that one in a while, I should do that soon.

I'd love to try the black pepper with the FA Cucumber. Unfortunately my diy shop doesn't have the Black Pepper either:oops:

I am so trying that Tiramisu cheesecake though!!

Thank you sir:)

Mixing is fun!

Whoda ever thunk we would have sooo much fun with our stop smoking alternative!

It's been a life changer for me and become a great hobby too.

DIY is twice the fun of cooking, with none of the mess to clean up afterwards.

Unless you spill flavoring on yourself while refilling your dropper bottles.

Which I have done. Just a few moments ago, in fact.

Sigh.

I've lost half a bottle of flavoring to a spill once. Another time, before I was using a scale, I had caps off 2 bottles of flavors, drew Marzipan into the syringe and pushed it into the Marshmallow flavoring instead of my juice bottle. THANKFULLY... it was a teeny amount, but I got so mad, LMAO!!

Mmm... Marshzipan... Marzipallow? Who cares, I'd vape it! :D

I buy the 120 ml "mini gas cans" of TFA Double RY4 from ECX (cuz I vape ungodly amounts of it), so I have to transfer it into squeeze bottles for weight mixing. Sometimes I forget about the little plastic funnel in my drawer, and other times I just can't be bothered. Tonight was one of those times.

I love DRY4, but I don't love smelling like a farmer who's been dipped in caramel. Farmers should never be dipped in caramel.

]Hi all good thread, I've made this grants custard recipes from e, liquid recipes. Com
CAP VC v1 4%
CAP French Vanilla 3%
CAP NY cheese cake 3%

Its very nice indeed, now I want to take it a step further with my FA fruit flavours..

I have mango, pineapple and raspberry custards I would like to try.

Can anyone give me a starting point as percentages to start from.

Do I keep the custard at 10% and maybe shoot for another 2-3% of a single fruit? I quite like my flavouring medium strength. I. E a touch more than HiCs recipes.

I do want to lighten the custard and properly taste the fruit more than just a subtle hint and I'm not a such wanting to mix the fruit flavours as of yet untill I get a handle on a single fruit custard. Thanks!

Congratulations on your first DIY with FA, @capitaomorsa! Is that your first ever, or first with FA? It's fun to hear the different paths we all follow to end up here. Cheers back atcha!
Hi!

It's just my first shared recipe with 100% FA flavours, as I've been diy'ng for about a year. I mainly diy concentrated blends (like t-juice) because of the simplicity, but now started to enjoy the complexity and fun of the "real thing".

My first contact with the forum was 1 year ago to find your kriglers curse clone recipe which I tryed and loved. Since them, diy has been growing on me and I started to read more about FA and learning a bit from the different recipes posted in this forum.

In the last 3 month, my FA flavour stack grown from only 3 tobaco flavours to more than 30 (and more coming).

I'm sure I'll share more recipes with this community as soon as I get them above average.

Cheers m8, and thanks for contributing and sharing so much here :)

I mixed your Tiramisu Cheesecake before going to bed last night and am vaping it right now with my morning coffee and wow!

It's so good:)! And now I'm out of TFA Cheesecake w/Graham Crust:eek:

Has anyone tried to emulate TFA's CK w/GC using CAP NY Cheesecake and CAP Graham Crust?

My usual morning with coffee vape of Banana Nut Bread has been usurped!

Done that a couple times.

I also have a bad habit of knocking over a 30ml I just mixed and am topping off with VG then having half the flavours end upon my countero_O

Then I have to make the choice of guessing how my flavour I lost or just dumping it and starting over.

CAP Graham Cracker has a Cinnamon taste, if that's the one you meant anyway.
Might be better off using 3% TFA Graham Cracker Clear if you have it.
NY Cheesecake is quite different from TFA CGC, it might still work but I'd only use 1-2%.

I just ran out of TFA Graham Cracker Clear too.

I picked up the CAP Graham Cracker on the advice of a friend but will most likely add a 60ml of the TFA CC w/GC onto my next flavour order to have at hand for recipes like this one. I really don't want to mess with the taste I'm getting from HIC's Tiramisu Cheesecake.

Peachy Pie, one of my girlfriend's faves:

3% FA Peach
1% FA White Peach
1% FA Pear
1% TFA Brown Sugar
1% FA Apple Pie

White Peach is basically the Fuji equivalent of peach: A more authentic and less-sweet version of the real fruit. And just as Fuji shines in the presence of FA Apple, White Peach loves to hang out with FA Peach.

If you mix White Peach standalone, I'd start as low as 2%. It's one of FA's more potent flavorings.

FA Strawberry has me totally confused. I just had to throw out an old bottle (6 months) that was dead - it tasted vaguely of spearmint and just faintly of unripe strawberry. I ordered a new bottle from BCV (not orginal packaging, since they were out), and mixed at 4% it only tastes slightly stronger, and more like unripe strawberry than a fresh, ripe strawberry. Now I know that FA can make an amazing strawberry, because I've been vaping their Cornish Cream Tea which I ordered when I placed an order from the UK recently, and it's the best strawberry I've found to date. At the strength I vape that, according to their recipe I'm using 2.8%. Thoughts? Anyone else run into this?

Just as a test, you could add bit of something really sweet (0.5% Marzipan?) to that 4% mix. IMO Strawberry tastes stronger when it's mixed with sweeter flavors. Have you made a little batch of that Cornish Cream recipe with the bottle you just got?

Yes, I've made several 30 ml bottles, both for me and for a friend, and it's spot-on! And the strawberry in it is fabulous. And there's nothing sweet in that - it's just strawberry, cream, and cookie! But I will try the marzipan - it's hard, though, to imagine it can take an unripe strawberry to ripe LOL

Oh, wait - I misread. No, I've only used the mixed concentrate - not the strawberry I just got!

The bakery element becomes more pronounced after a couple of days as the White Peach settles into the mix. You will smell it in the vapor more than you'll taste it as a shake and vape. You could always crank the Apple Pie up to 1.5% if you want it there straight from the get-go. The Peach + Pear combo (a classic HIC trick!) will override any apple flavor, even with Apple Pie at 1.5%. Eliminating the Pear will dial back the sweetness and boldness of the Peach too, which would also let the bakery notes come through easier.

I like this one sweet though, so Pear is a must for me.

Generous notes, thank you. Next time I'm jonesing for peach--definitely one of my vices--I'm gonna whip up a batch.

That looks delish:)

Can I get away without the White Peach? I'd still have to franken-diy it since my pear is Capella which I'm sure has stevia because it has a nice mild pear on the inhale but a horrible artificial sweetener taste on the exhale and my apple pie is also Capella which I find a little to dark and muddled.

I think my next order is going to be mainly 10ml FA flavours so I can figure out which ones I can't live without.

Don't let me stop you from trying, but each of the flavorings in the recipe plays a very important role for a very specific reason. I have no idea how CA flavorings would interact with one another in this recipe.

And no, you can not get away without White Peach. There is no escape from the great White Peach of Italy. :D Seriously though, if you're a peach fan, FA Peach + FA White Peach is as good as peach gets. Put 'em on your shopping list!

White peach is amaze'balls. I like vaping it with just a bit of fresh cream FA and Vienna cream FA.

I can speak to peach FA. But you better believe it. I finally ordered it and have it steeping in the drawer with white peach as I type and can wait to try it.

@Chrispdx: It's just like biting into one, without all the messy juice running down your chin!

3 parts FA Peach to 1 part FA White Peach is the only thing I've found that beats Hangsen Juicy Peach (the former king of peach flavorings, and still a very, very fine peach in my book).
Do you also have a good racio for FA Apple stark/fuji? :)

Just obtained the nanas cake flavor. It smells really good. I don't smell the lemon notes but did taste test. A lightly taste of anise or pine nut. I'm not sure yet until I actually mix it. I'm thinking this will replace flavorwest yellow cake batter that I recently found out had 20-30% fructose in it. I swear I gave that company a chance. Now they just pissed me off.
