Happy Sunday morning!! Woke up today and forgot to set my clocks back last night, just gained an hour of vape/coffee time. I'm loving this Bellus tank. It's my new favorite RTA. Dripper production without the need to drip. Top fill. Dual coil twisted 26g with a scottish roll wick. Damn fine vape. View attachment 32479
Yeah I just got my replacement tank in for my Aromamizer it has arisen from the depths of broken tank hell (maybe I should call it Lazarus ).... But yeah its basically the more expensive version of the bellus and I'm loving it they need to design more tanks to be RDTA it basically triples their performance

Have you seen the Mutation X MT RTA? Vapor DNA has them for $29.99 and they look awesome as hell. It's a 4 poster though, not the dual post design, but I may have to pull the trigger on that one soon.

I'll check it out but the big thing that made this one so good was the Velocity deck upgrade

So... I had a nice visit with Art the Unicorn Fart, and we had some gumbo, potato salad and eggnog... And since you haven't seen him in a while this is what he looked like:
2bef4fbe7906e57ff3676914d4ceb65c.jpg

I was really surprised that he didn't have as much juice as boxes normally get, and unfortunately two had to be taken out because one was leaking and the other the label could not be read. I also wrote the nic level on another to make sure ppl knew what they are looking at. I repackaged him all clean and dry with all ejuice in individual baggies that way if somebody leaks, they can't blame another innocent bottle...lol. Please make sure we are packing the box with care and little room for things to move around even if you have to pack paper in it. Always remember if putting batteries wrap separately and m&m mini containers are awesome for transporting batteries( put a piece of rubber or plastic between them). Overall Art was pretty spiffy.
I found a lovely rainbow vamo/protank and a k100 in a case. And some lovely Texas juice.
f99d8660ba3038e6db0183a40688253e.jpg

I added a Istick 20, 6 bottles of juice, (thanks Mel) gold k100, chuff cap for tobh, solado rda, a velocity rda, igo 6 rda(modified air), and new replacement tips and screws for ceramic tweezers. Gotta save some love for Bart....
I gave him some Moma lubs and sent him Jersey way and he should stop to rest Monday !!

I hope everyone is having a good time with these boxes, it has been a ride and I can't believe in a short time we will be halfway. I also want to take this opportunity to say if anyone has a problem with being able(financially, or going to be gone for the holiday for an extended period of time) please let me know. You may pm or text me either way. The holidays will no doubt slow the boxes down but we don't want them stalled. Please communicate!!!

Hi everybody though.. I've been trying to prepare for basic training and battling a bit of depression at home.. Then my crown tank decides it wants to leak profusely despite replacing o rings.. I'm now looking for another tank I guess even though I had JUST bought some nickel coils for the damn thing.. Maybe I'll just get coil master kit and some wicking material.. Cause I did a horrible job with the twisted wire lol.. First attempt at building but maybe I made them too big?

You did all those with the coil master?!! Even the multiple wire builds?

Yes except the Clapton one because it's so easy to do and I did a sleeper build so it's just one continuous wire never mind the picture of the Clapton sleeper build is not the one I showed

I want to do more building but I guess the coil master is the first step.. I suck at wicking though.. Is it possible to use too much?

It is really easy to over wick u want just enough in the coil to where u can pull it back and forth with a little resistance between the coil and wick, as for building dealing with spaced coils like that is alot harder for a beginner then it is doing contact coil its easy to rush urself and mess the spaced coils up

I think the last few times I've wicked haven't been properly done.. I could pull it through barely but then it would almost tear the cotton..

Just starting out my advice is stay away from twisted and clapton wire just start with the basics gotta learn to crawl before u can run
I only used the twisted since that's what came in the package from @Vapingbeauty lol.. I've mostly been using the premade single coils that came with the ud

The coil on the left looks to be 10 wraps and the one on the right looks to be 9 wraps but its hard to tell I might be wrong ... Also why do you have them spaced are these temp control builds and if it is why is it twisted did you go with the kanthal/ni200 twisted and if you did then why go dual

Basically if its TC build and your going twisted stick to single coil and don't dry fire them like that dry fire +TC =bad

If its not TC build you need to push the coil together. spaced coils work but more for older builds smaller wire and higher ohms

Personally I'd start with just simple singles or duals then move to parallel then twisted.... Cause I can make a good dual coil alot easier then a twisted cause you don't have to mess with it as much ... In other words its more reliable and less maintenance required

@otto85 I was just trying a build but that wire is quite springy.. I was trying to squeeze them together but it didn't work out as planned

Pad=organic cotton, when u rip a piece off u want to rip a strip that is approx 1.5-2x the diameter of ur coil if its tight pull out and take a little off retry

So it shouldn't be "rolled" to fit? I probably should really stupid asking these questions

When u do contact coils each wrap needs to be wrapped tight against the last 1 if u space the wraps like that ur inside diameter will be inconstant and ull get hot spot thatll burn the cotton

No the end that u insert should be rolled enough to get it through the coil with ease but the rest needs to be left alone and pulled through organic cotton expands so if u have more then a little resistance inside the coil its going to choke itself amd not absorb the eliquid

Its real simple all u gotta do is lay the next wrap down touching the last so on so forth
I was trying to do it that way but the wire didn't "want" to lay down like that it was really springy

In that case after tye first wrap is set keep the wire hanging over the last wrap as u make the coil itll fall into place better

To remove the springy of a wire as long as its kanthal you can use a torch to heat it up and it will relieve alot of the spring in the wires

You can get some pen torches from Walmart and hardware store for about 5$ just get a little butane refillable torch ... Even a butane lighter can work in most cases

Nah man use 26 gauge and ur fine no need for a torch if u get into 28 or smaller it gets springy and either need a special touch or a torch
I think she said it's 28/26 wrapped kanthal

Yeah a torch isn't needed but its like a grinder for a wielder it can fix a mess up fairly easily but isn't required... I use my torch about 1 in 15 builds maybe if that but still useful

Its kinda like straightening wire you don't NEED to but it helps most builders learn around it
