I'm so sorry I was mia this weekend. I have been researching and reading obsessively on diy liquid making, and spent most of the weekend stalking sales, suppliers, and stock levels trying to get my starting order. I have already found that it seems the vendors are always missing just that one or two flavors on the list, then by the time I finish finding them on another site, the first flavor goes out of stock which sends me to yet another vendor. Maybe this weekend was the anomaly due to the Labor Day sales, can't really say since this is my first time. Either way, I'm extremely thankful as my small starter list of flavors kept growing the more I researched, and the sales were a tremendous help.

I am so extremely excited to be a PIF member, I have heard of these before but never been included. I heard a lot of horror stories honestly, so my expectations are actually pretty low. I'm not doing this to get stuff, I really don't have anything I "need", so anything is a bonus. I am doing this to join in the excitement of the unknown and being surprised, and the fun of getting to share my extra stuff, and hopefully will get to know who got some of my stuff. I love to pif, and this is such a fun and unique way of allowing me the opportunity.

Thank you all for allowing me to be part of your fun, and I hope I get to know you all better! And thank you @MOMABEAR and @Geauxst and @Whiskey for all your hard work on organizing and getting everything together.

So to clarify, I'm 29 and Geauxst is 30, so he will be my recipient for both box A and B?

I find that finding flavors is like that quite often. You usually have to order from at least 2 or 3 vendors, and the "want list"usually makes the initial investment seem more than you figured. but it does pay off in the long run. If you go to @mamajs they have a section called @HIC notes and in my opinion he has a vast amount of information even if you dont use FA flavorings. I read ALOT of different stuff before i started diy, and continue to read now,its all about what you want out of it. There are so many ways to cut the cost of juice if thats what you are after. Glad you are back!!

Yes, I went there and read all his tasting notes, along with others on other brands as well. It was a huge help when choosing flavors. Good to know the flavor hunt is normal and not just a holiday thing, will plan for it from now on.

I find making a list of alot of juice flavors you would want or need and ordering then as they are available tends to be best

I can tell you as the box(s) make their journeys they will change alot, sometimes there will be stuff you just hope makes it to you, but sometimes the box will be on the low side for "good stuff". I have hopes that with the giving nature of the ppl in this box that i have talked to so far, it will only get better. We are all on different levels of our vaping journey, I have seen some vapers that like ego tanks and batteries and may never change that...it works for them, then some try sub ohm, and it's not for them...I think this will be an epic group and i am glad to have each one of you.

I had the same thought when I joined 5.0 but I soon learned that being in a box and reading about the box is two different things sometime it seems worse then it actually is but out of the 3 boxes and 5 rounds I've made I'd say most of them were good experience

Wow... Went offline for a week and this thread blew up. Glad to be here, thanks for the invite. Really glad to see some friends from the last box here, too.

@MOMABEAR and @Geauxst thanks for organizing and running this. @Whiskey thanks for all the work on the initial set up. Amazing awesomeness abounds here :)

@bgaulding i know I still owe you juice. I'm a lazy fuck though... It'll come as a surprise. Sometime ;)

@Heather have a chance to grab a thunder tank, yet?

In terms of what I hope to find in the box...nothing. Or everything. I'm in it for the fun.

It went well. But three months of rehearsal and two months of performance later and I'm toast, lol. I usually try to get in two shows a year, but this will be my one and only for 2015. Really miss the sword play though... Gonna have to get myself cast in other production that requires I wield a broadsword again soon.

I agree, but I'm learning so much. And I find I learn more by reading the threads where others have asked questions that didn't even pertain to what I am looking for. There is always a tidbit of knowledge or a tip from an experienced diy'er that also applies to one or more of my questions. So I have just started reading everything I can...lol

A 375ml Absolut bottle is my main mixing one for our regular ADV batch. Sometimes I mix up a couple batches at a time as I am a lazy vaper!

@Geauxst Thank you for my new badge!
