Here's my trippy looking skin for my silver ipv4 :)

And yes it sticks to the taco shell very well. You'll just need to conform the sticker into the grooves. I used the bottom rounded end of my 3mm screwdriver to do that. Also that damn taco shell leaves behind hand prints and grease from hands. So the cover does justice for that. It covers the ghastly mirror finish very well. Just make sure you erase the middle part of the screen for outdoors. I screwed up the erasing and went too far to the right. So now it looks like it's never been touched. Great job vapor skinz!

Yeah the ipv4 was a huge step up from my dovpo elvt. Nothing wrong with the dovpo but this is a beast.

I want to give kudos to Ashley at Wake and Vape, where I purchased my IPV4. I was having a button issue and after emailing her personally, she responded quickly. We came to an agreeable resolution and they are taking care of me. This was my first purchase from them, and because of the excellent customer service, I will definitely do business with them again.

Awful quiet on this thread. Everyone must be enjoying their IPV4's with no issues. Should have my black one from smog next week.

Loving my Ipv 4. Haven't tried a dual coil Nickel build yet. Very much enjoying temperature control. :)

Loving my Ipv 4. Haven't tried a dual coil Nickel build yet. Very much enjoying temperature control. :)

I have tried many different nickel builds but lately i am using a DUAL NICKEL CLAPTON (28g nichrome center, 32g nickel outside). As long as nickel is IN the coil somehow the TC registers fine on ipv4 You may have some slight temperature inaccuracy but test it for burning cotton and then to your taste preference and whammo you are good to go.

I'm using a dual coil in a Fogger V6, that cobbeled back into something that would work. Each coil is a 30 ga. Ni200 twisted with a 34 ga. Kanthal A1. It's resistance is around 0.17, wicked with cellucotton, and runs 30J at 410 degree F. I have a single coil, same as above, on an EHPro Kayfun Lite (thanks to Mroutlaw) at 0.14 ohms and runs 20J at 410 degree F. The IPV 4 runs TC with them like a champ!

I'm selling my almost new IPv4. No need for a 6th TC device, and I only vape at 25watts. Link is in the trading post.

Anyone else noticing odd battery life? Had to swap batteries out yesterday and when I finally got them on the charger they read 2.2 and 2.6. Here's 2 pictures I just read of the IPV4 battery indicator and what my LUC V4 says my batts are at. BTW I use Samsung 25r's in married pairs.uploadfromtaptalk1433304698264.jpguploadfromtaptalk1433304725674.jpg

No issue's here m8 try a different set out or a different charger, check your batteries with a multi meter, could be a number of things just keep an eye on it, maybe contact your vendor and see what he or she says.

That's now 2 separate sets of 25R's that did that. Will be contacting Wake And Vape tomorrow

Check your batteries with a Multi-Meter could be that you maybe got some bad batteries or rewraps or maybe your charger has a error.

I bought mine from GenuineCells.com but used their eBay listing
Genuinecells is legit, and I know about ebay and batteries. I was recommended to them on this forum as well. Stephen is a really good vendor, I've ordered VTC5's almost a year ago when they still existed, and a shit ton of LG HE2's from him, all are legit. That's not right with your iPV4, though. As has been suggested, use a multimeter to test them to make sure your charger isn't the culprit. If so, I'd get a new one, if not, it's your iPV, or possibly just a bad batch of batteries. I'd use care until you figure it out.

Wondering how I go about returning it if I've done the screen fix. Found my multimeter a little bit ago so will test when I get home

Well, your vendor might work with you depending on how long you've had it, but that screen fix could be a deal breaker. Step one is the multimeter. Hopefully your charger is reading wrong, and you find out now, not when it possibly has issues charging. The Luc is cheaper to replace than the iPV. One way or another, the multimeter will tell you if it's your charger reading incorrectly. Are other batteries reading as usual in it? I hope it works out for you.

Charger is reading properly. Anyone else with an ipv4 and a multimeter care to check their batteries voltage when the ipv4 says half full?

Your post says they read 2.2 and 2.6, but the pic of your charger says 3.6 and 3.7. Which is it? 3.6 and 3.7 sounds fine for half full. Say the cutoff is 3.0, 4.2 starting full charge, half full would be 3.6/3.7. If that's the case, you're fine. So, is it 3.6-7, or 2.2, 2.6?

I have 2 sets of 25rs. The first set when pulled at 1/4-1/3 full as per the IPV4 rear 2.2 and 2.6. The second pair when pulled at approximately half full as per the IPV4 read 3.6 and 3.7.

Must be those batteries not the ipv4

Will let a pair get down to 1/3 again and see what they say may have just been that at 1/3 when left with the IPV4 on (not firing but on) over night that the parasitic drain from the device dropped the voltage. I did notice that the battery that read 2.2 did get to 2.6 rather quick, well before the other one got to 2.7. And the LUC V4 I have is touchy about battery positioning. Really would like to find a better 4 bay charger too. Would go 2 bay but my God 180 has a paired set of 3 VTC4's that require a 4 bay

Well, the one set of batteries I'd agree is the culprit. 3.6-7 sound perfectly reasonable for 50% on the iPV4. I never let my batteries go lower than that, so I can't speak for 1/3 full, though it should cutoff at 3.2 or 3.0. I'd set those ones that dropped to the 2.2, and 2.6 aside for sure. Even legit batteries can be faulty. Just use care and caution. It does sound like your device is ok.

I would treat it seriously and keep a close eye on the mod if you think it's acting wrong. If you turn out to be right it could be catastrophic. You might want to turn it off while you sleep.

I usually do turn it off, that night I had to take some medications to allow me to sleep due to a shoulder injury and it knocked me out before I remembered to shut it off or plug my phone in. Ended up being late to work the next day as well

I set the ones that read 2.2 and 2.6 aside after they fully charged. Am seeing how long they hold charge

I would just get rid of thrm. If they are going that low it could be dangerous. Get a new set and start fresh

Yeah, best to just not use em I'd say, and +1 on turning it off, and pulling the batteries when away, or asleep. I do think it sounds like the one pair of batts, but you don't want to find out from a bad surprise.

I normally charge the batteries when I get home from work, so they usually don't go below half

True, isn't that at the point where you need a charger that can "revive" over discharged batteries? I know Xtar's can do that. They're $5 a pop these days, so tossing them is smart.

I use an efest 2 bay luc. My batteries are solid. Mine only go down to 3.6 and cut off with my device. Then I just pop them on the charger and a couple hours later done. Now im not sure about reviving a discharge or anything. But for kaged I would just toss those batteries. Seems like a bad lot. It does happen from time to time.
