I hear you I haven't bought food in a supermarket in 25 years...if I had to buy meat in a supermarket I'd turn vegetarian.....when I lived in San Francisco..I'd walk home 1st stop would be at the butcher,2nd stop at the produce store,3rd stop at the bakery, and if it was friday the last stop would be at the florist to get flowers for my wife...and every nieghborhood in the city was the same way......I live in Oakland it's a little more spread out but not to bad......I know it's a little more expensive, but the quality is better, and the small bussiness appreciate the bussiness and will cut you a deal from time to time.I talk to my butcher we trade stories about our kids, bitch about our wives, and trade fantasys of fishing trips we'd go on if we had the money and the time...
Hey, I'm in Monterey. I love Oakland. A few old friends live over there, and my hope is to retire somewhere over there...in many moons.

Another thing I do with a fresh build. After heating the coils and getting ready to wick I but the RBA back on the OHM's meter. Make sure it has cooled off then lightly tap the coils with my finger/tweezers. If the OHM's jump around then something is still loose. Screws like to get loose when you are burning in a coil. This is probably more do to the wire settling from the heat but it is just part of my routine. If I am building a tank (Orchid, Kayfun,ect..) I also wick it and put the chimney on with the base on the meter and check again to make sure there are no shorts. Grats on moving up to rebuildables I thing you will enjoy them once you get the hang of building coils. Good Luck.

On a side note I cant tell you how many times I have had pretty little coil burns on my hard or fingers. You know its a good one when you can count the wraps of the coil from the burn. :D

Thanks for the advice, I'll take all that I can get - and thanks on the grats as well :)

And yes, such a difference from my ego and tanks....I only have a single coil...2.1 ohm - like 46 wraps :) - and wow, huge amounts of vapor - I can't imagine going with two coils- it would suck up a whole 10ml bottle of juice in two puffs.

Eeeesh, burnt fingers, I hope I can get through the learning curve without those.
So far so good. :)

But I'm glad I'm not the only one who didn't automatically create the perfect build their first time out. :)

Perfect coils come with practice. As long as they vape good I dont care if they are pretty. Just wait till you start trying dual coil centered builds  took me a couple times to get those down. But they are pretty and preform great.

Oh, just wanted to get this out there: the Pandoro in my German Chocolate Cake was a total fail! :p

The cake didn't have the right texture and that lemon just infected and messed with all the other flavors in there. Even at 0.25%. As soon as I get some money together, I think I'm gonna try what HIC did in his Lava Cake instead (Cheesecake Graham Cracker Crust + Cookie). But by then, I think I'll be way over my GCC craving. :D

Customer service wasn't the problem. It was credit card numbers getting stolen off their site.
Anyway I'm looking for a real true tasting blueberry. TFA is to candy tasting. Any advice would be appreciated.
HMM... I had my BoA card stolen recently and thought it was some site that I bought some Nautilus's off of for $15. Hopefully wasn't ECX but glad BoA saw it and didn't mess with me after 3000 in charges.

After I went through that same sort of thing, twice, I canceled the card that was attached to my main checking account completely. then I opened up a second account that I use exclusively for online purchases. I keep just over the minimum required to keep it free ($100) and then do a simple transfer between the two accounts when I want to make a purchase. It takes almost no time at all, and prevents anyone from wiping me out completely. It is a big relief not to have to worry about that anymore.

I'm glad it worked out for you, must have been a scare though.

Why not use a real credit card with fraud protection? Nobody can access your money, and you review all the purchases before you pay the bill.

Thank you, I must of missed this. Do you know if they offer wholesale pricing as well???
I know they sell wholesale, but not sure about FA. I'm on my phone so it's difficult to navigate their menu. You could always call them. I know I've seen FA in larger bottles, but not sure where I saw them

Here is a 3 2 1 recipe I put together today. Pretty sure it's been done but here it is anyways!

3% FA Marshmallow
2% FA Coconut
1% FA Pineapple

I used tfa pineapple in mine only because I am looking for a sweeter (golden) pineapple than what FA has.

Enjoy!

I haven't had it stand alone at 0.5 but I could see doing it. I often use it in a mix at that percent and it makes a big difference. Happy to hear your taste buddies are bouncing back.

Just a quick question: Does anyone know if a 1ml syringe can fit into the Ecigexpress.com 10ml bottles of FA easily?

I plan on ordering through them to Canada as it is a lot cheaper in the USA for flavours and just want to make sure I can get a syringe in there without making a mess. There is no pictures of what type of bottles the flavours actually ship in on their site, so it is hard for me to visualize. Or maybe there is a post on this site with a picture of their bottles that someone could point me to.
Cheers

Oh, man. There was a pic like that somewhere (with everybody's different bottles), but I think it might've been in the "stank" thread. :( Only looking at the fun parts of that thread now. :D
Could you email ecx and ask?

Probably not now they've changed them to the little needle-nosed pointy bottles! But maybe someone has tried and can comment (I mix by weight).

I use a 14 gauge need on the bottom of my 1mm and 2.55 syringe. The 14 gauge fits through the dripper hole

Thanks cindycated, AmandaD and Mroutlaw. I'll email the store and ask if they can send a picture or tell me if I can pull the dripper tip off and get a syringe in that way. I guess it is what it is in the end and I'll make due... just trying to keep the DIY as KISS friendly as possible so wanted to visualize what I would need and how I was going to do it.

Anyways great thread... still trying to read it all.
Cheers

I used to just pull the tips off - it's a pain, but it worked!
