I have built many different types of coils and what I have found out is a duel parallel sleeper made from 24g kanthal wire 5 wraps 3mm is the best build so far. The others look nice and are something to show off but when it gets to the most important part which is the vape production I have found this to be the best set up.

What is a parallel sleeper?

Sleeper coil is a dual coil built on one wire, parallel is coil with two strands of wires side by side. So a parallel sleeper is combining both those concepts together. Here's videos for both:

Well if you like the box mods you can get the Smy God 180w from 88vape.com for 104.00 or from fasttech.com for 88.00 but you will wait 3 weeks for it from FastTech and 3-4 days from 88vape

New build. Twisted 22 sleeper.

Clapton coil 24 awg center wrapped with parallel 30 awg. 5 wraps on 3/32 bit. Then smoothed down with flat plyers. Built on my new Troll RDA .39 Ω at 55w.

How do you like dem apples? Just did a quad setup for my Orchid @ 0.29 ohms, wire i used was 28, 27 or 26 gauge. Dunno, just grabbed something that looked about right and started wrapping.

EDIT: Best flavor i've gotten from my Orchid so far. No dry hits either.

Sweet dual man! Did you splice/twist the parallel leads together or just stick them into the post together and than tightened them down?

I just sticked them through and tightened, seems to be working. Build is a bit slobby and the coils should be closer together, other than that im satisfied.

I noticed with coils like that if you take wickless hits off it (after saturating the coil with juice of course) different parts of the coil heats up you get different parts of the juice that pops up. For example if your vaping on a strawberry cream juice you get the strawberry on the first pull, and the second or third pull you get the smooth cream.

Four Orchids. I run this in every one of them. I've tried other builds, but this simple one puts the flavor on another level for me. Almost too much flavor, probably too much vapor, but
just. damn.

24g twisted with 3 strands of 32g and coiled in a zipper fashion, one twisted clockwise and one twisted counter clock wise, and it performed well, it did "Gunk" up fairly quickly and even after a re-wick and being conscious of not saturating it so that juice won't collect and build up it still "Gunk'd" up within a day and a half, and I kinda rushed it when twisting the wires so they aren't as clean as I would like them to be and lined up as good as i'd like either

26g zipper build, This is the best performing build I've done to date, .15ohms, Wick's better then my fused clapton's did...it really pulls juice all the way threw as you can see in the picture without burning or causing the cotton to "Cook" and discolor, and the flavor although it was in the Freakshow RDA which has amazing flavor anyway....the flavor was better then any other build i've had in it so far, and am planning on using the left over wire to do a chimney coil in my Lemo RTA which I think will be an awesome set up, but I also plan on doing a Clapton Parallel'd with zipper twisted wire, or making a Clapton out of zipper twisted wire, we shall see......

This is a slight variation of Twisted Messes' "Caterpillar Track Coil" video / (coil creator @blueeyedgoon83)
I used 2 strands of 24G nichrome 80 wrapped with kanthal ribbon wire and than flattened. My first flattened coil build, pretty interesting results. 8 drops of juice from a 10 ml bottle dripped on the coil before reaching full saturation.
5 wraps on 2mm single coil (obviously) and it came out to 0.16 Ω, expected slight delay of ramp up time but not bad.
