Drip tip for sure. I installed mine because I didn't like the coil that close to my mouth and I was getting spit back. now it is just right and the flavor was increased. I carry this set up with me on a regular. Small, light weight and I can put it almost anywhere.

Yep same here. I did not like the wasp until I put a drip tip on it.
I now have 8 of them I think it is.
Maybe 9?

If I may ask how your getting on with the VLS? I've ordered one that should be delivered tommorow . Use to like the odd vertical coil in the likes of the veritas and the origen wanted to give them another go :)
I've still only used it in dripper mode, and I'm using it with a single horizontal coil, but I'm liking it a lot.

I'll post more when I convert it over.

Dual 18650 mechanical squonk recommendations?
I really like my driptech ds clone from 3F, make sure to get the one WITHOUT the logo in white paint. Get the one that’s just engraved. I have 2 of them now, use them almost exclusively, and I think they each cost me $22.

Hmm 510 tips fit in all of mine. I have Frosted and yellow original tops.
Have 6 replacement caps and they fit 510 tips as well.

there are nano clones out there...

Yes, that 1:1 clone is lovely - if you can hack together a silicon-bottle solution. That PET/plastic shit is absolutely an abortion.

Nice!

I went searching and found this video on that squonker:

I loved the OG so did not hesitate to get the squonker

They only made 300 of them so reviews are not going to be plentiful

They did put out the anodized aluminum one not too long ago, not sure how many they made of that

Just ordered the Furnace RDA from 3F...had $15 in my PP account and with the upgraded shipping it cost me $18 and change. I've spent more on clones!
Will report back in about three weeks when it arrives... probably will be sold out by then!

Sent from my pants.

So I was going to post up a separate thread for the Brick'ium after using it now for over a week, but chose against that for a majority of those who may be interested in this item, frequent this thread; that and one can simply use the search function and find the word BASIUM found in this comment.

So most only care about issues with a mod and not what the mod does well at, so I wont bore you to death with what I like about it, but what I don't like about it.

The Bottle System: Was said you can utilize your own bottle, while this is true, its also false. The feeder tube connection in my belief is larger than the conventional 2.5mm (2mm tube fitting snug on 2.5) I believe its closer to 2.75 and possibly 3mm. So a taller bottle may prove difficult to install, especially if someone tries to do so with fluid in their bottle already lol...The factory bottle is nice, but 6ml...the Modmaker Geronimo 7.5ml bottle is a nice replacement for a few extra toots worth of juice ;)

The 510 Connection: This one could be very well my own fault... but I am going to chop it up to the Basium having a fairly deep spring loaded 510...but I sometimes get the "Check Atomizer" prompt while using my NarDa with a beauty ring, and when it does make connection via beauty ring, its on average .4v loss... I need to mention that this is only an issue with the NarDa, no other RSA I own.

The Paint Finish: While I did get the Stainless version and the only "Painted" parts is the top and bottom plates, the bottom started showing table wear after the 2nd day.

And that is really the only gripes I have with this mod.

So if you're good with the factory bottles, the bottle system is flawless..and it comes with 2 complete bottles and carriers.

If you like the NarDa, just don't use a beauty ring, and its a non-issue.

Paint Finish...is there a mod that doesn't get table wear?

But I am going to monitor the 510 some more...I have a feeling that using a refill bottle might be putting excessive plunger wear on it and possibly be the reason I am experiencing the Check Atomizer warning, for I didn't get this warning til recently...which I would say is after refilling at least 30 times.

I definitely need a drip tip on the Wasp. No matter what build I put in it, it spits. Drip tip....all gone.
Which drip tip do you like? I have one that is only 8mm tall that works well for me when I want to use a drip tip on the Wasp, but that is more to keep my lips a little farther away from the heat of the coil on a fresh battery.

Have you tried a spaced coil build for the Wasp?

I space the wraps of my coils ~2mm-3mm apart and never get spitback unless I over-squonk.

Maybe try to space your coils?

(also, simple round-wire builds, or parallel seem to work best without getting too hot on a mech)

I haven’t tried spacing my coils yet....still a total noob on the building frontier. I just build simple, 22 gauge kanthal, around .3. And I could be over squonking, too. Cause I’m relatively new at that, as well. Great advice! Thank you!

And I just use whatever drip tips I can find. Nothing fancy yet, but I have a cart at FT going.....

Has anyone seen the "Swedish Vaper Dinky RDA 17mm" yet?

Looks neat, and maybe what I've been looking for, and simple build deck...

Found only two YT vids on it, one was in Japanese, and the other was by 'Timmerz' whom I dont care for...

Looks like a cross between the Odis 16 and the Origen Little maybe with some OG Goon airflow tossed in, at least on one side (can't see the other side) unless there is not a ring inside the cap and it relies on the deck to block or open the airflow

It does - from looks, I'd compare to Origen Little 16, except that it's "one-sided".
Not enuf air for me. If it was 2-sided I might be interested - I'd run air wide open, and try both single and dual coils to see. That's what I do with my teensy atties... Nuppins are like 18mm, and I run duals in 'em...
