Seems you haven't had much of a break recently. Hang in there bud. :hug:

That in the context of everything else is literally shit. *chuckles* There keeps being short discussions of "well we'll fix it ... someday". Not quite sure how it can be fixed what if they go fracking again. Aw well at least that's just shit, it could be worse I reckon, could be all the decomposing body parts I hacked up and buried. Oh drat, I wasn't meaning to type that out loud ... :oops::facepalm:

And I'm fucking broke! :gaah:

Keep that virus to yourself. Oh wait, too late I've already got it. Damn it! I'm going back to playing Calvin Ball with the other eight mes this morning, after .... :coffee:, of course. :bliss::crazy:

ETA: Reminds me, you ever watch those movies/shows where the serial killer is off in the darkness, say out in the kitchen and the nice young lady heroine/victim asks, "Hello, anybody there?"

I often reply back, "Yeah, just me the sociopath killer that's going to do you in, but first I had to get a sammy. Be with you in ten minutes."

My FIL was living with us when he died - I didn't know how we would do it.

Then there was a flood and a lot of folks lost everything in the middle of winter. My husband said he wasn't ready to go through anything, then it hit me - my FIL was a very generous, caring person. He would be appalled to hear someone desperately needed something that he had and didn't need anymore. That made it very easy for my husband to take a lot of his things - especially his high quality winter gear - to a clothing drive to help everyone out.

It got the ball rolling at least

This is why fear & hate shall never win. Of any I aught know best of balance in all. It still does not quell a desire to see the Light triumph over darkness. Brief inspirations such as this continually restore the punk, which ignites the blazing inferno of hope. :) Thank you. :hug:

Can't win for losing.....or something like that....:devil:...:)

That's when you get up from the table, refuse to play the 'game'. My step-dad used to beat me if won playing poker against him, beat me for losing to him. So, stopped playing. I won at that point, he could no longer have any reason to beat me. Of course, for a while after that still he tried finding another reason. I learned quickly enough and kept ahead of him. It was about then he started doing the gas lighting stuff. Oh well, that bastard is now long dead & off GFingH forever. Sorry, merely reading and having some reflections. Excuse me, I'll finish off my :coffee:, go feed my Grouchy. :)

Mornin' gang. We're going to be taking a literal raincheck until next weekend, on going up to do the housekeeping and start going thru my mom's things; it is raining to beat hell, our backyard looks like a LAKE and it ain't nearly finished yet, supposed to do this all day and all day tomorrow too... and along with all the thunder and lightening and driving rain, there are tornado watches! (insult to injury!). We both think it might be better to NOT be out when weather this awful is going on, because a) driving would be hazardous, the way the water is ponding everywhere, and b) if there's a tornado, I'd really hate to come home and find a debris field instead of our home, with cat inside. Who is currently hiding in the footwell of my desk, because she knows that mommy will purrrrrrtect her. :)

I brought bags of my mom's Mardi Gras beads to a nursing home. Every year, they put on a Mardi Gras party for the residents.
This is an awesome story Lucy. Put a big smile on my face. :bunny:
You know what? Even though I feel sick, I can still post the hopping bunny even though I personally don't feel like hopping. Gosh I'm weird.:confused:
But oh well. hehehehehe :bunny::bunny::bunny:

I can just imagine how horrified the staff must have been when the residents started flashing each other to get beads at their next party.:eek:
