What's the flavor profile

Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk
Strawberry Milkshake, there is other flavors also. It's smooth, good flavor, I'll buy again. But I have a feeling it's going to be a while ;)

They have a sample pack I think I'll order.

Hated Fruit Loops as a kid, hate it now and that goes for juice also. I don't like the fake lemon lime, something about it turns my stomach.

Not sure if you tried this brand, but it has no Fake flavors from what I taste, which is all that matters....:vino:

My father owned two Dairy Queen joints many, many moons ago. I hate ice cream, shakes, et....must have consumed 100 tons of that garbage as a child, straight from the cone makin machine. Just looking at ice cream makes me nauseous.

I'm the same way with Jagermeister. Owned a German bar for 15 years. Can't even stand the smell of that shit anymore.

The first time I ever got blacked out drunk was off Jagermeister. 16 years old, drove 40 miles to get home despite pleading and attempts at restraint from friends. I just wanted to sleep in my bed, perfectly reasonable....

Doing the two step here. I've got it so it didn't leak or dry hit. But when I refill it floods the deck....I realise I'm a rookie, but I've built both the Smok & Cleito rba's without problems. Watched a couple of videos, don't get it...
Lots of cotton..... Cut a piece of cotton and drop it between the posts.... Fill the deck.... Full

Any tank that requires that should not be touted as the greatest tank in existence. The modfather is nice. But like the boreas it can't be filled on the go easily. The aromamizer supreme doesn't leak when you fill it, fits the same builds and the build quality is obviously better it doesn't leak.

The Supreme plus comes with the postless deck and went on presale yesterday (48.00). In 2 months the Modfather will be selling for 30.00....Wait and see:cheers:

After trying multiple builds, it seems some do but some don't require "extra" wick. The build/wick I'm currently using doesn't flood and I can refill by simply opening the top and pouring with no inverting required. However, in the past, it was so bad the deck area would fill just as fast as the tank. I truly suspect it depends on wick placement such as making sure the deck holes are properly covered.

I have zero problems with the boreas except that it drinks juice. I took it with me to the biker rally down in galveston. No leaks no dribble. Only problem was I was using a 10ml bottle to carry around with me....not a good idea. I ended up buying a unicorn 30ml bottle from the vape shop there and now I'm in heaven.

Do you do the "Invert, tighten cap, flip over, open vent"? Procedure when filling?

Or something else?

Just unscrew the top, pour, then put top cap back on. Like I said though, other times(builds/wicking) I have witnessed extreme flooding but believe it was caused by something I did wrong.

Oops, sorry, thought you were referencing my comment. Please disregard

I don't use lots of cotton nor does the Boreas, neither of them have issues with leaking. You just need to burp them when filling. It's no big deal deal.

What is this "burping" you speak of ? Seems to me the deck is getting flooded as I fill the tank !?

tons of cotton in the deck. when you fill, close off the airflow fill up the tank. screw the top on only a little flip it upside down, open airflow, screw it in the rest of the way, close airflow, turn it back to right side up, then open airflow

first off the cotton needs to be fluffy at the deck, not packed nor stuffed excessively. There also needs to be room under the coil for airflow, additionally with the Modfather I put a tiny bit of cotton between the decks, just a tiny bit.

Now for burping this is the way to go about it.

1. Close the airflow
2. Open the top and fill
3. Screw down the cap loosly, maybe about 1 turn before tight
4. Flip the tank and open the air and then tighten the cap. This releases the pressure
5. Close the air flow then flip the tank back right side up
6. Just before you vape for first time open afc just a tad for about 30 seconds to a minute.
7. Open to you preferred air setting and vape

You don't need tons of cotton, if you do you're doing it wrong.

Just a fluffy layer under the coils without packing down and just a tiny dab of cotton between the decks. You still need air flow under the coils.

Just a note, I also do not put any juice on my cotton when I place it. I will place the cotton then pre juice/fire but it's important to place the cotton dry without any juice.

most of the time i wet my cotton before stuffing. always worked well for me. and IMO that is a ton of cotton. I've never needed to add more cotton to any other RTA so i guess it's all relative ;)

SquapeRS is the same with the B deck. With the bottom fed there needs to be a fluffly bed of cotton.

Also with the postless deck you don't need the dab of cotton in the middle nor the series deck, it's only needed for the velocity deck.

As for placing the cotton dry, it's all about keeping the cotton fluffy. When you put juice on the cotton it packs it down, more prone to leaks and dry hits from what I've found.

I'll give it a try with the modfather on my next build. I've always pre-wet the cotton and never had issues

So i just found out this thread existed, to be honest i have never been active on the forum despite being a member for a while. I need to take some time to go through the thread but id like to address this "blatant copy of the boreas" claim. My RTA was released 4 months before the Boreas and was in prototype back in November or so of last year. Was already in production in December. Boreas was released towards the end of April of this year, there weren't even any photos of it anywhere when mine came out, and im not sure if it was even in protoype at the time we began selling.

yeah that was just some shit being talked, same thing about those that said the Boreas was a copy of the Aromamizer, pay no worry about that.

Welcome aboard, you've got a wonderful beast with the Modfather RTA. I love how you came out with the postless and especially the series deck. I saw your 30mm RDA and yes, Rossco must have. I've got some SS square wire I'd love to use but is way too low resistance, but with a 30mm series deck oh HELL YEAH!

Love the work you've been doing, you've got some fans here!

@themodfatherinc - Too cool to have you here, would you be so kind as to enlighten me on wicking... please. I can get it to hit well and not leak once filled, but every time I refill it floods the deck. I am pretty new to building (quit smoking by vaping 6 months ago) but have managed to build others successfully.

Really love the build quality of this tank, and well the size as well, just need to get it down and reliable so I can take it out with me as a daily driver.

new shipment should be in about monday and headed out to retailers as fast as i can check and repack them. not sure if it was mentioned but gold pvd is coming with that shipment as well as plenty of decks. the 30mm rda is expected to arrive about christmas time and the 40mm big brother (which is released in voltrove packaging) is coming in january. if anyone has questions im more than happy to answer them. i see steam crave has taken notice as their supreme plus is being released soon and has basically every option we have made but added jfc and some screen thing in the afc. cant be mad though, this tank was inspired by the original aromamizer. their original concept was good, but it had a tiny chimney, tiny deck, weird stupid tiny airflow with that vape band afc and a friend of mine (the owner of voltrove) had gotten one and was telling me about it and said "its a cool idea but it kinda sucks. someone could make this so much better." so we tried to. theres not a ton of stuff in the vape world thats not been done yet, but we still try to do what we can. the concept was absolutely inspired by the v1 aromamizer and we tried to fix everything we thought fell short in their concept. we are always open to new ideas and suggestions from customers. in fact the tall chimney was requested by a guy i know who used to connect a bunch of "the tank" chimney tubes together and had a custom acrylic section made for it. he said hey can you make something big like this we said yeah why not? lol

90% of the time if the deck floods only when filling, youre filling it too slowly. i dont do the whole close the afc, flip it over etc thing. i use one of those screw top tattoo ink style bottles, fill the whole thing in under 5 seconds and get the top on, no flooding, no fanciness. most of the time this issue occurs with guys filling with a glass dropper which can take a few minutes. just like in science class back in elementary school, if you have two vessels with liquid in one connected under the top of the liquid level, the liquid will automatically equalize levels until theyre either even or you pass the point of connection. in this case the two sides are connected at the very bottom. until you seal the top of the tank and create a vacuum when the juice starts moving, it will attempt to fill the deck and chimney until both sides have the same height of fluid in them.
