Ebola Virus Updates, and can it make it's way into e-Juice?

this is amusing and I can see where people may be concerned. the virus would die off due to excessive heat. It could not encapsulate into a spoor to wait for more hospitable conditions to flourish. DIY is a good option as is being careful of foreign sources for your ingredients. if it looks funky or smells off flush it. use common sense.

if we all stop and think..
even if someone's mask slipped and they sneezed into juice or what ever..
doesn't matter if it's pg, or if you are vaping it..
once you touch that contaminated bottle.. that's all you need..

@SMOKIE .. it's a scary thought.. people really do need to stop and just think on it..

it could happen in a grocery store, vape shop, where ever..

does this mean be paranoid? no, it means to watch out.. this time of year is always cold and flu season..

Good point.

Me, I am just going to go about my business as usual and take the same precautions that I do at this time of year.

I don't spend time with preschoolers (little germ magnets each and every one of them), don't run around hugging strangers and I always use my own pen at the grocery store or any place I write a check or sign for a credit card purchase.

The pen thing is really good advice if you think about using you own pen VS a community pen.

I may be called paranoid but I always clean the outside of any containers. Same with cans even though many virus do not survive long,if it sat on a loading dock who knows what is on it.

Like I kinda implied in an above post.

I am going to have some pizza, a vape and a cold beer and go to bed.

Ebola can wait.

If we think this is anything less than government propaganda I think we are fooling ourselves. These govt organizations DO NOT have the public health in mind! Often, it's quite the opposite. We know this!!! It's all about money. Did you or anyone you know get swine flu, bird flu, or any of their other supposed epidemics? They are fundraisers and liquidation sales!

Can the Ebola Virus get in your e-Juice Liquid?

If a e-Juice vendor who has the Ebola Virus without knowing it, and sneezes into a batch of juice they are making will you become infected?

The way the virus is contracted through bodily fluids. saliva, sweat, mucus, tears, semen, vomit, urine, etc

Would the atomizer heat burn off the virus?

These are concerning questions since this Virus is the deadliest Ebola outbreak the world has seen — claiming more than 4033 lives and infecting double that as it rampages around the world.

What are liquid MFG vendors doing to insure their liquids are virus free, the extra precautions they are taking?

And what about those juice makers who Do Not have clean rooms who make their liquids in their kitchens, and Do Not wear protective gear while mixing?

Would it? Like to know for sure.
Virus's are very environment dependent, unlike bacteria.. Ebola can survive 2-14 days (maybe more) outside of a host. The hotter it is, or the more sunshine (radiation) there is, the shorter the survival. Most virus can tolerate cold very well, but suck at tolerating heat. This is why your body heats up and you get a fever.

Big tobacco and government are just doing population control with cigarettes and making a ton of cash like always... they have the cure for cancer but there’s no money to line their pockets so we lose.

Of course they don't want e-cigarettes around because it's not killing no one.

If Texas were to get a dozen Ebola cases our governments will most likely order the Atomic bomb on Texas, let’s hope Speaker Boehner has no say in that vote.

I am ok with a Raccoon City if Milla Jovovich is in there, "am I right guys, girls :)

PG is an anti-bacterial and nicotin is a strong poison.
Pretty much harsh conditions for a virus to be in.
And i recomend reading about Dr. Oswald Hope Robertson and his research on Propylene Glycol.
Quote from Dr, Robertson on PG: The vapour from as little as 0.5 mg of propylene glycol can kill nearly all the microorganisms in a liter of heavily contaminated air within 15 seconds.
So if annyone get Ebola from vaping i think it vil be from spit on a drip tip pased around.

So i figure the morale of the story is dont share user equipment ;-)

I am more worried about the experimental drugs to cure Ebola that will most likely turn us into zombies
The infamous zombie apocalypse that I have been hearing about and preparing for is coming!!!

I look at it this way, it is here, let's hope it does not spread. If it does spread here comes the CDC and FEMA along with Marshal Law.

Ebola virus could mutate to become transmissible through the air

You can now get Ebola only through direct contact with bodily fluids. But viruses like Ebola are notoriously sloppy in replicating, meaning the virus entering one person may be genetically different from the virus entering the next. The current Ebola virus’s hyper-evolution is unprecedented; there has been more human-to-human transmission in the past four months than most likely occurred in the last 500 to 1,000 years. Each new infection represents trillions of throws of the genetic dice.

If certain mutations occurred, it would mean that just breathing would put one at risk of contracting Ebola. Infections could spread quickly to every part of the globe, as the H1N1 influenza virus did in 2009, after its birth in Mexico.

Why are public officials afraid to discuss this? They don’t want to be accused of screaming “Fire!” in a crowded theater — as I’m sure some will accuse me of doing. But the risk is real, and until we consider it, the world will not be prepared to do what is necessary to end the epidemic.

In 2012, a team of Canadian researchers proved that Ebola Zaire, the same virus that is causing the West Africa outbreak, could be transmitted by the respiratory route from pigs to monkeys, both of whose lungs are very similar to those of humans. Richard Preston’s 1994 best seller “The Hot Zone” chronicled a 1989 outbreak of a different strain, Ebola Reston virus, among monkeys at a quarantine station near Washington. The virus was transmitted through breathing, and the outbreak ended only when all the monkeys were euthanized. We must consider that such transmissions could happen between humans, if the virus mutates.

i would have some smart ass retort, but TBO you frighten me a bit with your NJ goodfella type persona. i will just let a sleeping hitman lie. :p

have a nice day, dear.
I might talk somewhat different then you but does that make me a bad person. The retort was in humor not offensive. What is happening in this world is Reality, and most shy away from it. Just awareness, and possibility's that could occur is what I am posting about.

Ivory Coast has shut down its borders with Liberia and Guinea, two nations hardest hit by the Ebola virus, shutting out migrant workers needed to pick the beans that go into M&M, Snickers Bars and Hershey's Kisses, reports Politico. Though Ivory Coast has yet to report a single case of the deadly virus, residents are fearful that the disease may quickly cross borders.
