. We went to the post office yesterday, and got them approved and processed. Now, just have to wait and see

By 2018, If you want to travel by anything other than a car or other land transport (train/bus)....Everyone will need a passport or passcard (depending on where you want to go and how you plan on getting there). Also, you'll have to have a "verified" license......So if you plan to travel in 2018 and after, bring your "long form" birth certificate and/or passport with you, and ask for it next time you go to the DMV to get your license renewed.....(not that anyone wants to go there).
Morning everyone. Happy Fathers Day. Missed yesterday with the usual harrowing experiences with the kid. He got all the way out there and decided he didn't want to be in the mountains and walked. Told him nothing I could do and he was staying out there. End result.....he's in a program. Not as nice as the one he should have been in but for whatever strange reason he said he likes it there in Anaheim. Mens program also. So we shall see what happens but I stuck to my guns and didn't help him or take him home.

When you are 1200 miles from your birthplace, and only have a week until expiration (and not knowing about doc requirement changes), expediency costs. Snail mail wasn't gonna cut it.
