Hey everyone, new to the forum, just wondering if torching copper will reduce conductivity? I torched the beauty ring on my nemesis and it seemed like I was getting less of a hit, is it just me, or is there voltage drop from torching?

You've probably added a bit of resistance due to the tarnish. ScotchBrite the threads... should improve.

The nemesis isn't copper.... it's copper plated. I bought one to try before I did an authentic. Most likely you've burned the plating right off like I did. Just put some copper tape in the tube if you think it dropped. Look for the silver backed version.
