Does it have something to do with the difference in power outlets or requirements of safety in USB powered devices that differ between the US and UK?

Is it the fast that 2 years ago the average person would have searched the net and forums for a week finding out how safe and the instructions on how to use an ecig before finally choosing an Ego-T kit.
Now average people just stroll into a vape shop and say "I wanna blow clouds gimme something shiny" and the average vape shop will send them on their way with a device for advanced users with little to know or nothing about proper safety?

But that happens in the US too.

Does ANTZ have more pull with the media in the UK?

What do you guys think? -5150:(

Edit: I read this somewhere: The Chargers ALL have ratings of 100-240 Volts, 50 or 60HZ. How Come ALL of the Accidents and Fires happen in the UK where The Voltage in Use is 240 Volts and the Frequency is 50HZ?
