It doesn't work either believe me, I smoked an used my e cig for months & found I just had to stop full stop. I still get cravings everyday but you just gotta have willpower. People who say "I just stopped no problem, they are just horrible" are full of shit. Why would you smoke if you don't like it?? And I doubt you can just stop without a craving at all!
How can you just quit without cravings??Don't take your particular case for a generality.. Everybody is different. Me, I smoked 3 packs a day for 25 years and I quit overnight the day I tried my first ecig. No cravings, no nothing. I quit, just like that. Or rather, I feel like I never did stop smoking: I just switched to something else and the transition was totally seamless.
Silly peeples...
Dual-use is when you have the vibrator attachment for your mech mod...

those who still struggle with tobacco cravings are a minority.
I have to disagree because of all the people who use WTA's and NET's or do their own Tobacco Extraction.
Reread what I wrote:
I am not only talking about some inner circle I am referencing what I have seen in real life and on many forums. From what I have seen posted not having craving is a rarity. Just browse some of the threads on here.
That's what I did too, just vaped & vaped. Dual use to me actually just made me crave cigarettes more!Dual use didn't work for me. Cigs have many chemicals, not just nic, that my body/brain craved. I set the cig-a-like aside and kept smoking. Nic alone wasn't enough.
Two years later I tossed the cigs. I tore up the house looking for the cig-a-like to take the edge off. Chain vaped till I was nic sick. Ordered more modern vape gear cuz the gig-a-like wasn't cutting it. Finally got the 'other' cig chemicals out of my system and am now a vaper.
For me, it was best kick the cig chemicals all at once, keeping the nic and the hand to mouth habit to keep me busy.

Well, I did. I didn't ask for having it easy, sorry In fact, among the vapers I know, most quit smoking about as easily as I did, and those who still struggle with tobacco cravings are a minority.
Lmao. I still chain vape and always haveOne of my first threads on VU was asking if others chain vaped as much as I did, lol. I called my vape, my binky.

thanks a lotDual use in my opinion means Smoking and Vaping. Does not matter what you are smoking to be considered Dual Use.
it is true, no craving or no desire will helps stopping. It doesn't work either believe me, I smoked an used my e cig for months & found I just had to stop full stop. switch from smoking to vaping. I wonder whether vaping is addictive? I am not sure whether to begin my vaping journey. thanks a lot and best wishes.Don't take your particular case for a generality.. so your opinion is to switch from cig to e-cig? thanks a lot and best wishes to you.It is the 6,999 other chemicals in cigarettes that are truly addictive and added by Big Tobacco to keep you addicted. Just my opinion............
thank you for your share. it is hard and painful to quit smoking if there is no switching or substitute. best of lick.I guess I'm one of the lucky ones. I smoked 2+ PAD for 50 years and was able to quit cold turkey. Every time I craved a cig I vaped and found the craving went away after 2 - 3 hits. But I was vaping 24mg in a CE4 type atty (gas station crap) so lots of nic. At one point I occasionally used 18mg in an RDA just for the nic rush but it's harsh as all get out. Worked my way down to 3mg in a short while. When I relisted it was the ceremony of smoking that I liked the cravings stopped. Good luck quitting your body will love you for it.
Thank you very much for your patient reply. The analysis is very objective and realistic. I do have read in detailed and studied carefully, and have been benefited a lot. Best of luck.If you smoke cigarettes and desire an alternative which reduces the overall harm of that dependency, then vaping kind of fits. We cannot tell any that vaping is tobacco cessation product or method, nor can we technically say it is safer than tobacco use. We may say it reduces harm.
If you vape using nicotine, yes vaping can be addictive as nicotine itself is addictive. This is what many vapers do too. We've found a better alternative for ourselves. Some are stepping down on how much nicotine they use, some are not, some are going to quit nicotine and some not. Regardless, we've found a way that works for us. It might work for you, or not.
You can also vape without any nicotine, simply enjoying all the lovely flavor profiles in our juices. I'm using a nice six to eight fruit blend which is cut with unflavored juice to make it last longer. It is a rather tasty flavor I stumbled on and had help in mixing up for my private use. Others can use it if they like, I call it Nirvana juice. I do not sell it, will give out the recipe freely ... once I recall where it ran off to.
The standard advice is if you're not vaping already, or using tobacco products, consider not vaping. Nothing is more healthy and allegedly poses no risk than breathing fresh, clean air. We offer this not to discourage anyone from vaping. You can vape as merely a hobby even. We do not genuinely judge one another too horribly as fellow vapers, unless you go acting all totally stupid, even then you'll at worst be called stupid. Understand many of us strongly dislike of stupid.
We can admit dumb mistakes though. Everyone has those moments of fumbling, it happens. Learn from it, try not to repeat it. If you choose to not learn from it then, you start stepping toward being stupid. Understand the only dumb or stupid questions are those left unasked. If I'm not around here, someone will be and someone will try to help, answer your question/s.
Well, at least welcome to the forum.
thank you for share. best regards.Instant switch for me as well, hated to hear it when I found out it wasn't that easy for others. I liked cigs, but I like vaping more. It's not a replacement for me as much as it's an upgrade, like everything about it more. People would apologize for smoking in front of me knowing I just quit and I didn't even pay attention or notice they were until they said something.
Others often ask me to pick them up cigs at the store, one day I realized not once did I consider getting some for myself.
that is really unexpected, thank you for the different opinion. That's what I did too, just vaped & vaped. Dual use to me actually just made me crave cigarettes more!

Okay, I must be one of the lucky few then
For me, when I go out with friends and drink some beer and stuff, theres nothing better than a marlboro Red hanging out of the mouth.
For me, thats on bad thing in vaping, I cant just hold it and fire without using my hands, and I love the taste of marlboro golds and reds.
I am nearly chain vaping at 6mg and still I need that softbox of reds when I go out
