Vaporlips: Buyer Beware

This is the first time I have ever taken to submitting a grievance with a company in an online forum.

I ordered a mod from Vaporlips for my husband in September 2015. I paid in full for my purchase and my husband was excited about the order we had made.

Fast forward 17 months later....... Still have NOT RECEIVED MY PRODUCT ..... Started requesting updates/refunds at the 1 year mark and when at 16 months with no product sent I requested a refund was informed that there terms protect them from having to issue me one. They said that they would be sending me my product asap but yet another month has passed with no product and certainly no refund. I have searched the internet and found other complaints similar to mine and even saw a post where the owner of Vaporlips said that all the person had to do was ask for a refund.

Well, I have ASKED and BEGGED for a refund to no avail. I tried reporting to my cc company and paypal, but at this time my credit card company has said that I should have reported the FRAUD and SCAM within 6 months of placing the order. I was foolish as I believed that we would receive the product and was being patient as I understand these are custom made.... Well shame on me. I feel like this is a total scam. Selling products to consumers and never delivering them and also never giving a refund. It seems like this should be illegal.

I have been scammed out of $379 and feel that coming close to 2 years of waiting for delivery is unreasonable. I am once again asking to have my money REFUNDED as its the right thing to do at this time. I am at a loss as to how a business can operate this way.

BUYER BEWARE: They will steal your money and never deliver a product. I have called them several times never to get anyone to answer or return my calls, emailed with vague responses or ones promising delivery and yet no follow through, and facebook messages requesting a refund and being told that their policy protects them. Well what protects me???

DO NOT ALLOW YOURSELF TO BE SCAMMED LIKE I WAS. SAVE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY!

Contact your credit card company now. It may already betoo late. Why wait so long?
 
I contacted my credit card company a few months ago and it was already too late. Going into this I was told there would be a 6 week lead time. I contacted David at vaporlips several times and there was always an excuse as to why they were running behind. I guess it is my fault for putting my trust and money into this company.

If I'm ordering something that's in stock and it takes longer than a month to get shipped I would immediately cancel the order and contact whomever I paid through. Now that it's 2017 I think you are probably s.o.l. you can post on their Facebook page but they can hide it/delete it. A carwash ripped a part off my car. They wouldn't contact me or my insurance so I went to Facebook and they hid my review.
