Ok so my google-fu has failed me. This isn't about adding food coloring to juice, some flavors have a natural tint to them from the concentrate. Is there any sort of list or way to find out what hue/tint particular flavorings are? Like 'LA Banana Cream - clear', 'TFA Banana Ripe - light yellow' or that sort of thing.
The reason I ask there are a couple of commercial ejuice flavors I'm trying to get close to. As it turns out both have a color other than clear. One is a 'banana cream' and the banana cream and banana ripe I have are both clear. Any of the various cream flavorings I have are clear. I do believe there are other flavors mixed in like possibly some faint apple or strawberry that aren't listed by the company. In any case, something in that mix turns the juice a golden yellow almost like mountain dew soda and they don't add coloring to their juice. Out of the like 20 something 'banana' flavorings out there, if there's one known to turn juice yellow because of the flavoring tint it may help me narrow it down. It could also be the strawberry or something else, just because bananas are yellow doesn't mean it's the flavoring causing the color.
Another is described as just 'cotton candy' but again the cotton candy's I have are clear. FLV cotton candy and TFA cotton candy (not circus), neither turn color when steeping. The stuff I get commercially has a faint pinkish tinge to it that darkens to a more distinct reddish pink over time. If there's a cotton candy or vanilla flavoring maybe or some other sweet flavoring (obviously mild since c.c. is such a light flavor to begin with) I might be able to narrow it down and get on the right track.
