Smok T-Priv 220w Kit.Which Battery Should I Buy?

Hello Everyone

I Am New in Vaping.

I Just Buy Smok T-Priv 220w Kit.

And They Have Coil

1 X V8 Baby-Q2 0.4ω Dual Coil (Pre-Installed)

1 X V8 Baby-T8 0.15ω Octuple Coil

Now I Don't Know Which Battery Should I Buy?

I Am Just Thinking I Buy 2 Pics of Battery for My Smok T-Priv 220w Because Smok T-Priv 220w Required 2 Battery.

Samsung 26f 18650 2600mah 5A Is It Safe for Me???

First off, the 26F being an ICR chemistry Li-ion battery is a very big danger when it comes to batteries for vaping, as ICR batteries are notoriously under powered and are know to when subjected to high amp pull discharge makes them unstable enough to literally explode like a stick of dynamite.

Using the Ohm's/Watt's Law formula for a regulated mod of

Watts Set/Lowest Voltage Available/90% Mod Control Board Efficiency = Maximum Amps the mod can pull (word of warning 220watts is very unattainable with current battery technology in 18650's with a dual battery mod)

Knowing that the mod is a dual battery series battery circuit configuration, we can tell that with this set up that voltage is X number of batteries but has the same Milli-amp Hours (Mah) and continuous max discharge rate (CDR) of a single battery, with 18650 batteries operating nominally in the 3.2v lowest to 4.2v full charge range, we get 6.4v (3.2v X 2) and 8.4v (4.2v X 2) operation range.

220watts/6.4v/90%=38.1944 amps <-- No legit 18650 battery has an amp rating of this as the highest CDR battery on the market atm are the LG HB2, HB4, HB6 1500mah 30amp CDR batteries, any other battery that say a higher amp rating on its label is a lie as that is the short 1/2 second pulse discharge rate of the battery and we vape longer than at 1/2 second pulses, more in the range of 5 to 10 second discharge times

220watts/8.4v/90%=29.1005amps <--- Here the LG HB series can handle the load just fine, but after about 10 or so vapes needs recharging anyway, recharging batteries about every minute of use, thus the statement of 220watts on a dual battery series mod is really unattainable.

Depending on the watts that you will be running will help determine the best battery for your application

Under 120watts any 20amp battery or higher CDR battery will suit your needs, if needing more Mah for more runtime, then there are 3 in the 20amp CDR category that shine
Samsung 30Q 3000mah 20amp CDR
Sony VTC6 3000mah 20amp CDR
LG HG2 3000mah 20amp CDR

150watts and under, will need 25amp CDR batteries
LG HD2, HD2C, HD4 2000 to 2200mah 25amp CDR
Sony VTC5A 2500mah 25amp CDR

180watts and below needs 30amp CDR batteries and there are only 3
LG HB2, HB4, HB6 1500mah 30amp CDR

You are also going to need to invest in quality external charger for those batteries and will need at least 2 sets (one in use set and one charging or charged set).
