Yeah, well every morning I get up and look in the mirror and say "I'm not that fat and old" but I'm not fooling anyone.lol he asserts hes a flavor chaser at least once a video
I held back and behaved myself, that's whyI never have been able to handle his videos, not questioning his character or sincerity, he's just a bit too much for me. I used to watch Suck My Mod and especially Vaping With Twisted420, and then the whole Rip Trippers accusations, translation... bullshit, were started. I don't consistently watch anybody, now. Twisted especially lost credibility to me after what he pulled.
I thought it was nice, and surprising, that nobody bitched about this thread getting resurrected 6 months or so past it's inception. ECF, and most any forums in my experience would've turned it into making fun of whoever did it. Love the VU.
Interesting on Rip Trippers juice, wasn't planning on trying it, though. Now I definitely won't. I agree on Twisted, I liked the clone vs authentic comparisons, and sometimes the clones were as good, if not better. I have two Infinite Copper Cartels, due in part to his review. Still, the drama he pulled makes it difficult to trust much that he says. The only e-cig review I can take seriously nowadays is igetch69, its as clean and concise as you could probably get, one of the most consistent and straight to the point reviewers out there still.
Stopped taking Rip Trippers seriously once I tried his e-juice line... "I'm a flaaaavor Junkie!!" as he so eloquently states every time, yet I don't get what flavors he was talking about after I tried a sampler pack from VapeTrik.
I used to enjoy Twisted when he mostly did clone reviews, but he seems to have become more of a mess of things lately.
Suckmod...I dunno, sort of see him as the Forest Gump of vape reviews, but without the IQ and charm...
Robert Ellis? Holy cow, like listening to a high school wood shop teacher who reluctantly came to work after a long binge
Lol, way to hold back. I'm so tired of reading people berate new people for not using the search function, then come back and chastise them if they do so, and ask questions reviving a thread. Can't have it both ways. There are exceptions, though. I haven't really seen any bashing for resurrecting threads around here. My car forums can get nasty.I held back and behaved myself, that's why
really, the only reason to watch Scott igetcha69 is to see the newest high end atties and what they look like....the problem I have with him is he says the same thing over and over again..........."the flavor is what you'd expect from a genisis style atomizer.".............wtf.
Forrest Gump of vape reviews..LOL......I still like Mark Todd ...other than Scott, he's vaped almost everything out there and gives me a pretty good idea of the quality of the flavor and vape.......although he tends to be a bit pollyana. If he says an atty gives great flavor I raise an eyebrow if he says it rates in his top 5 then I consider it.
I like the fact Todd responds to his viewers,he trades gear with them, and that he has gone to pretty great lengths to help raise money for charities by raffeling off vape gear....I also I like the fact the imbeciles at a well known high end english vaping forum hate him. anybody that can be despised by that collection of knuckledragging schoolboy posers is OK with me.
I'm glad you agree, but I don't know if I'd call it idiocy. I think its the story of a man who realized its easier to stand out if you have a schtick. Lots of great artists have, but you need something behind ityou know Barkt you're right.....back when rip tripper was first starting out he acted like a normal person.....excitable,but normal, but nowdays he has schtick, and signature idiocy like sick as tits....
He annoys me. As much as I hate the 100 quick cuts he does in editing, atleast he doesn't babble on for a hour like a lot of Youtube reviewers.
Studies have shown that quick cuts hold a viewer's attention much longer than non-edited video. The mind notices the shift, and it's like a finger jabbing in your side. A gimmick, but it works. The quick cuts are to keep the viewers attention. Its actually very smart of him to do that. Whether you like him or not, thats up to you...I dont mind the silliness. He's concise and to the point.

I like, him, he's direct to the point, and he's vids are professionally made
I like, him, he's direct to the point, and he's vids are professionally made, unlike the majority, all they do is show cloudszzzzzz, for me I think cloud chasing is OLD, its all a out that FLAVOR, and I think that's a good thing, it forces juice makers to rethink what they sell us!! IMO
BIGBOYVAPER
if you're gonna spend say 180.00 to 220.00 on an atty........longer and in depth. What's better a short to the point video or a longer more in depth one?
A lot of people dont "hate on" him...some may, but most do not...they arent "haters"...I dont like his stuff at all but I hardly hate the guy...not caring for a reviewer or his style and not finding him entertaining because you or someone else does isn't necessarily "hating"...that term is tossed around so freely and loosely way too often these days...and it's often used incorrectly any time someone has an opinion that doesn't fit with someone else's opinion......drives me nuts...Not sure why lots of folks like to hate on rip. His videos are entertaining and informative.
Before we get into this... how old are you? I am guessing you are much older than the term dont fully understand what it means,A lot of people dont "hate on" him...some may, but most do not...they arent "haters"...I dont like his stuff at all but I hardly hate the guy...not caring for a reviewer or his style and not finding him entertaining because you or someone else does isn't necessarily "hating"...that term is tossed around so freely and loosely way too often these days...and it's often used incorrectly any time someone has an opinion that doesn't fit with someone else's opinion......drives me nuts...
Have to agree with you. Calling someone a "hater" is usually just a cop out. When people don't have anything intelligent to say in response to something and are at a loss for words, they resort to words like "hater" or "butt hurt" or even "troll". Or perhaps "tin foil hat" or any number of other cop out phrases that gets the person off the hook for having to actually think of an intelligent rebuttal to something.A lot of people dont "hate on" him...some may, but most do not...they arent "haters"...I dont like his stuff at all but I hardly hate the guy...not caring for a reviewer or his style and not finding him entertaining because you or someone else does isn't necessarily "hating"...that term is tossed around so freely and loosely way too often these days...and it's often used incorrectly any time someone has an opinion that doesn't fit with someone else's opinion......drives me nuts...
Actually it is true. I am not a kid. I am 32. But I am sure I dont grasp the meaning of some of the words the kids use today.I understand what it means...and as a word, it's been horribly mangled....trust me...kids always think people that are a bit more seasoned are out of touch...when you get a bit more time on earth under your belt, you'll come to understand that it just it isn't so...
I guess you will never get it. The word has never meant the same as the word hate.Hatred suggests a very strong dislike accompanied by hostility. People dislike all sorts of things but actually "hate" very few things.
I dont think I've detected any jealousy of Rip in this thread...haven't seen Twisted on here either...I've only seen a few people that cant stand the guy due to mainly to his nutty persona....I suppose that would meet the "other reasons" criteria that you mentioned....I dont see it as that at all tho...oh well, not a big deal...Actually, hating is expessing dislike for someone or something because of jealousy or other reasons. For instance, what twisted did to rip was hating. Calling twisted a shill is hating. I never said you were hating, but it is going on in this thread.
Definatly not a big deal, i guess we have a different interpretation of this thread. I just threw the twisted thing in there to explain what hating means. Anyhow, have a nice night.I dont think I've detected any jealousy of Rip in this thread...haven't seen Twisted on here either...I've only seen a few people that cant stand the guy due to mainly to his nutty persona....I suppose that would meet the "other reasons" criteria that you mentioned....I dont see it as that at all tho...oh well, not a big deal...
We will never "get" it...the word and term didn't exist until the last generation was born...hahahaha....better go watch MTV and VH1 so we can bone up on today's new made up meanings for established wordings...Hatred suggests a very strong dislike accompanied by hostility. Lol, MTV? That's so yesterday. I remember when MTV actually played music videos. I can actually remember when MTV launched with Video Killed The Radio Star by The Buggles. I know exactly what the term "hater" is, a cop out used by people who don't have the intelligence to maintain a conversation, usually by those who can't handle criticism and instead of addressing it either by making an intelligent rebuttal to it or by learning and improving by it, instead say "haters will hate" which can be translated to "talk to the hand."We will never "get" it...the word and term didn't exist until the last generation was born...hahahaha....better go watch MTV and VH1 so we can bone up on today's new made up meanings for established wordings...
LMAO...Keep pointing out how out of touch both of you are. Its working well.
